Dinged 50 on my Sonic/Cold corruptor just over a week ago. So far my favorite toon. Been playing it non-stop ever since. PvE build is pretty much slotted. Currently working on slotting the PvP build.

Yes, the movie like so many of James Cameron's films was shamefully emotionally manipulative (thinking of frozen, floating babies in Titanic), but it worked so incredibly well I totally forgave him for it. Grown men and boys were in tears in my row. There was a particular sequence that was highly evocative of the terrorist attack of 911 that literally had me clutching my chest. I knew I was being totally emotionally manipulated, but I was loving it!!! Well played Mr. Cameron... Well played.
Beautiful! Splendid! Defintely try to see it in 3D. The beasts had me jumping out of my seat and talking to the screen (which I never do) "Look out!!" I want to go back again and do the IMAX experience this time.

Thanks Kat for hosting the competition. It was a lot of fun. (Gratz Llewthor!)
Special shout out to Tony's Defender (I'm not sure if the name is correct) for representing the defender community and soloing a pylon on his rad defender. You rawk!

Good to hear from you Felecia. And I am looking forward to winning that Costume/Bio contest!

Great post Ash!
Seriously, Champion would be sickeningly sweet (all butterflies and teddy bears) if we didnt have the occasional drama. I mean, who wants to dine on Ambrosia and Nectar all the time? Its highly entertaining when someone throws a little salt and pepper into the mix to spice things up!
*munches on some popcorn*
I'm sure there are plenty of people who like to create drama instead of being all laid-back and calm to get their blood flowing. But I guess that would fall under the "Wat Drama" section. -
Thanks for the event Madame M. Had a great time. (What a beautiful base!)

Earth/Cold troller is a debuff/buff monster. Great for team playing; not so much for farming. Late bloomer damage wise, and can hold it's own in the later levels. Early leveling can be painful if you don't team much until you get your Animate Stone due to the lack of early level damage. But still, a fun set. You bring a lot to the table team-wise.

Quote:Not a great farming set because of the end like our compatriates have said above. But it is very fun!! You are an AoE beast with tremendous DoT's. Plus all those flashy effects will make any teammates with a lesser video card beg for mercy!I was just wondering if this is a good farming set, and if not, what is it exactly good for? My friend has this build and he wanted to know if it was good for anything. lol.

Have fun! -
Quote:*Calmly chuckles*Alright I know you guys are saying... "He dont have FlashFire or Cinders". I posted the post to see some Ideas. I dont need FF nor cinders, I pwn a full map of warriors lvl 53 +8 team size. I can run a map within 17-23 mins. So for the person who said "Im tired of seeing crapy builds blah blah blah" its defiently not crappy ok. I can pwn in farming and Pvp at the sametime and not get bored. Flashfire is for newb non experienced players that havnt played a fire/kin before. But ill let you keep talking. I have plent of people on freedom that tell me im a crazy farm. Also I charge 10mill and get a team of 4 easly. Well with that said, thanks and have a nice day. Smoke the tweed one in awhile, it will calm your nerves! Bahahaha

Agreed. I have an Earth/Cold troller that I'm leveling (although i tend to play redside mostly at present), and it is awesome sauce! What you bring to a team is outstanding support and debuff. The only downside is that it is a crowded build. You will have to choose what it is you really want to focus on. Also, it is a late bloomer damage wise. But once you get your Animate Stone the going gets easier not to mention an epic (I chose Stone). Then you are a force to be reckoned with.

Quote:Agreed, Flashfire is a must. I would also recommend Cinders. You will need some decent recharge bonuses for Flashfire to be up for each mob as you decimate them faster and faster. Cinders is a good back up for what cannot be stunned or if Flashfire hasn't recharged. Containment damage rules.Okay, okay, Cinders is debateable. But Flashfire is absolutely not. I also recommend all firekins who make them for farming at least have a team build with SOs or generic IOs that does have Speed Boost.
Normally I: Flashfire/Firecage a mob, FS, and Fireball away. They go down pretty quick.
I'm not wild about Psionic Mastery for a fire/kin troller. Mainly because I don't care much for the animination time of Psionic Tornado. I think Fire and Earth are the epics of choice for most fire/kin farmers for fast recharging AoE's.
Good luck!
(P.S. When I used to farm on blueside with my Fire/Kin I still managed to fit in SB for team play in the build. Food for thought.) -
Quote:I heard that the Mind/Therm troller was fun for PvP. I may have to roll one.mind therm is fun ... confuse, and the three mains thorw in tk or the fear..to hit is not such an issue if you build your atks for acc and get leadership - with primal epic you get powerboost so your to hit will get a boost too with tactics on.
ice cold is bad ***...try having mage on you with no recharge lol..
I do have an earth/cold troller for PvE. Any chance that combo could work for PvP?
Thanks! -
Best of luck to you Shin. It was always a pleasure gaming with someone with so much skill as yourself. You will be missed.

Great job Cherry!!

Welcome back! Play a spell. (counting the days until Going Rogue expansion.....)

Quote:That sounds good. Can't wait for the first one!I plan on running them so that people who have never done them can enjoy them. Taking shortcuts is fine. For example tp'n to boss when its not a clear all. However lets not try to make a 2 hour TF over in 20 mins and rush people so bad they don't get any enjoyment out of it. :-)
As far as LRSF, that will be a seperate event that will be a race and have a prize at the end some time probably next month or so after these are finished.
Thanks for putting this together Kat!
