Just in case there are any people who can't make the regular Thurs., raid (or procrastinators) who still need the Vanguard Heavy Core for the upcoming Redside Hami Nuke event, we will be holding an extra RWZ MS raid this Friday evening @ 10 p.m. Eastern, immediately following the Redside EoE Farm. Of course, everyone is welcome.

Now here is my suggestion... if we are going to plan something like this that requires Nukes, Shivan and so forth. Why not schedule those events as well. One night for the Shivan run, one night for vanguard or a tad more. With Thursdays MS raid run.. with Lord D. Also.. usually the night before Fridays, we have farmed the EOEs on monster island.
My brute.. has decent defense, mud pots and hurl.. with some taunt on some powers..but no acutal taunt.. so let me know what team I would be on. I do not have, only raptor.. but I am damn squishy out of granite.
Have not had one successful Hami red side yet.. looking forward to someone running this with success.
There is a regularly scheduled RWZ MS raid on Thursday evenings. But if people still need Vanguard merits by Friday evening, I will be happy to run an impromptu RWZ raid following the EoE farm Friday evening. I'll poll the people at the EoE farm to see if there is any interest.

About the Terrify, I like to 5-slot it with one of the Accurate To-Hit Debuff sets. Both have very nice bonuses depending on what you are looking for. And my controllers tend to be about survivability first (hence the to hit debuff). I usually add a Hami O for good measure. Centriole if you are looking to enhance damage and range (Centriole's are awesome on cones) or Peroxisome if you are trying to enhance damage and fear duration.
You definitely want to enhance the damage. The base damage (30.59) is exactly the same as your Dominate and Mesmerize, but of course it is psi damage and spread out over a pretty good size cone. That's a good portion of psi damage to pass around. The base duration of the fear effect is 27.938 seconds (according to Red Tomax). Season to taste. Your mileage may vary.
Sorry I can't comment about the build because I'm at work and am pretty paranoid about downloading Mids here. (Although Mids at work would be outstanding!!)

I totally agree, the much maligned Liquefy can really fill out a build. I added this power for my sonic/sonic defender for a static team because we needed some kind of -tohit debuff. Slotted it with Dark Watchers and an Achilles' Heel proc, slid that Liquefy under Ghost Widow during the MoSTF run, and watch her melt.

I'm so totally there! This will be fun! I will be happy to lead a team if needed. (Fire/Rad Corruptor and Sonic/Cold Corruptor). I always have shivans and nukes on board and a heavy core.

There's not much you can slot as far as good bonuses for cheap as you level for this set. You may be able to get some Thunderstrikes for your ranged, Adj. Targeting for Aim, and Efficacy Adaptors for Heat Loss on your way up since these are all Pool A enemy drops. Otherwise, you'll have to tough it out with DO's and SO's for a while until it's time to slot your final sets.

Thanks Cherry for leading the impromptu Hami!!
I think it's cool that you want to get other players who can't make the regular Sunday evening Hami a chance to take down the jello monster. It's a great opportunity for new Hami raiders to learn about teamwork. As veteran Hami raiders know, there are many variables in a Hami raid and it takes a lot of people who know how to follow direction and ask questions (questions are good!) because the jello can be unforgiving and certainly uncooperative at times.
