Pretty much my feelings too - I was hoping for (at least) one pet, and one themed upgrade power. I expected a shield, and one "other" power... meh, they could have done much better. At least this makes it easier to decide which set to go for in PvP, I guess. -

Toggle-dropping, as it currently stands, is completely overpowering - to the point where I don't play my En/En Blapper in Zonal PvP anymore because there's little challenge in doing so. -

It works well enough for me - sure, I might only see them as they move in for AS if it's a decent stalker, but that gives me more than enough time to slap them away before they even bob down into AS. Even if I miss, it either a) scares them off from trying to AS me again or b) doesn't matter anyway as the AS goes *whiff* past my ears - although when it does hit it's usually time to run and retoggle, or die quickly.
TBH, I'm more concerned by Dominators than I am by Stalkers. -

TA isn't that buggy, it just has niggles. /Sonic doesn't synergise fantastically well with Mind - no doubt I sound like a stuck record by now, but Disruption Field doesn't work as well with Mind as the other 'troller primaries, as Mind has no pets on which to drop it, meaning you need to team with melee-focused chars (not necessarily Tanks and Scrappers, but people who don't mind playing their toons right in the faces of mobs) for it to be of any use to you. You also have the cost of Sonic Dispersion to work in alongside what can be a quite endurance intensive primary, depending on how you build Mind.
Then again, Sonic Resonance is an interesting set - and you don't have to take the shields, I know I didn't.(I also have an FF 'troller, also without the ally shields, I'm an awesome team player.
) I did pick up Clarity though, it's a great buff.

Disruption Field is an ally-centred PBAoE, so it wouldn't really work that well with Mind. Also, Mass Hypnosis = AoE Sleep, so enemies wouldn't be killing themselves at all.Do you mean Mass Confusion?

You're preaching to the choir PRAF, I already know all about res debuffs working well with Illusion, I rolled an Ill/Sonic shortly after the new sets were released - Phantom Army + Disruption Field + Sonic Siphon works a treat. The thing is, it's just not reliable damage. -

Not with all that containment flying about. Mesmerize, Levitate, Terrify can all be slotted for damage for great results - it'd be a more damaging build than Ill/TA by furlongs.

Cybercel has a Mind/TA, which I've had the pleasure of seeing in action - it looks like a fun build, I'll poke her in this direction to see if she can shed any light on it for you. -
Plus, SR has +perception in Focused Senses - so Stalkers don't get away that easily either.

Personally I love fighting against stalkers in Sirens - it's actually the reason I've started to play more PvP with my Claws/SR scrapper. Nothing beats the feeling of stalkers repeatedly missing with assassin strikes, and then knocking them on their [censored] with Focus. Plus, Stalkers are one of the few things Claws can actually kill quickly without having to be buffed to high heaven. \o/

IIRC, IR has a 60-second timer - that's usually more than long enough to get where you're going, or at the very least, to get to the next map. Like Psygon, I don't really see the problem.
OT - BTW Psygon, both Cybercel and I are most amused by the naming of your Storm/Elec. -

If you want to use it in either PvP or PvE you're going to have to slot it for accuracy anyway, so I'm not quite sure what the hell you're trying to say here, other than it not making any sense whatsoever.
OP: Siphon Speed will do fine as a travel power until you can pick up Inertial Reduction at 18, or any point after that. (I use Siphon Speed as my only travel power on my Corruptor, and she's level 32.) -

Pretty much - all my villains on Union (MM, Brute, 2 Corrs) are firmly ensconced within LoUD, and I don't have any spare slots to make any other toons. You'll probably have run across our members out in the PvP Zones at one time or another - Grim Rainbow, Aphotica, Bilharzia, Charger Charley, GenericVillain001, Awn, Antithetix, Becquerel, Tough Guts the Troll, Ice Blight, Lao, Kyndel... (either that, or we might be on our heroic alts on the rare occasions there happens to be an imbalance in favour of the villains). We're not, however, and probably will never be a "raiding" SG - we've got far too "streamlined" a membership for that, and we're not going to be jumping ship to any other SGs any time soon. -
What Cynic said - I picked up both BU and FE (in that order), and my main use for them is as a quick self-buff before battle when Fury is zeroed. Occasionally, I'll hit them before some bosses and AVs in the middle of battle - nothing quite like 2-3 shotting a +2 Boss.

If you can deal with the animations, Jump Kick is great. I usually go with CJ, but Jump Kick is always good for a bit of fun - just don't expect uber damage. -

I have a Plant/Ice on Defiant, not got her past level 10 yet though so I can't offer any real advice - I've focused on the melee attacks from Ice so far though, which seems to work well. -

FoN can only be picked up at 47 at the earliest - you need two powers from the Epic at 41 and 44 beforehand. (And the Tier 9 power from your secondary only comes at 38.)
