I remember Everquest's first version of the team assembler in 2004. While not a cross server thing it was definitely a quick team building feature. I don't recall the name of the expansion but it was before CoH even launched.

One thing all the other MMOs I tried and didn't like had was a corpse run. WoW's was not as bad as EQs but I hate corpse runs. I am so glad we don't have that.

I know it used to be 45 minutes. If I saw her and tagged her I could count on her return 45 minutes later.

The market is a central part of the game, especially for those of us that regularly use the invention system. Between the poorly designed UI that forces extra work on us, and the bugs like pop-up warnings that can't be disabled & lag that causes the wrong items to be posted for sale, the frustration level is just too great. At latest count, I've lost a little over 150 million inf due to interface lag that was never there before. I'm afraid to try and sell or buy anything on the market. I've been advised by a GM that to avoid the interface lag I should close and re-open the market window for EVERY single transaction.

Hopefully the dev team will get these issues sorted out ASAP. If they don't, I think there is a significant risk of serious damage to the market's health. Until such time that they do, or until my current sub time runs out, I won't be putting anything up for sale on the market. Every drop is either going to be deleted, vendored, or if it's something good, crafted and dropped into storage.
I have to say this reads like my feelings in general about the usefulness of the Black Market to get the IOs I want for years.

I didn't quit the game over it and I won't but the disappointment is the same.

And looking at your last paragraph it completely describes my Black Market feelings a few years ago before the Black Market got worse as player population/usage of it has declined. I have no hope that your frustrations will be resolved any quicker than mine were then as I still wait for it years later.

If I were of our tinfoil hat brigade I would believe the devs did tickets and merits and the new UI to kill the markets.

Paragonwiki has all the sets' levels listed.

You may be right. I know one of the unique Rikti things do though.

They ought to add some obscure chance for PvP recipes to drop too.

Yep, all 3 invasions' enemies drop level 30 stuff except the Rikti EBs drop level 50 IIRC because people have reported getting purples off them.

I believe there would be no Resistance members alive if not for the brave and valiant efforts of Emperor Cole and Praetor White.

Freedom is not anarchy, self determination is not chaos. Attempts to portray them as the same thing do nothing but indicate how brainwashed you've become. And this saddens me.

I don't think anyone would have wanted to live - as it were - under the Hamidon. Cole stopping the Hamidon? Nobody argues that it was the right thing to do. But it's the actions after that - Might does not mean Right. Might does not make one a just ruler.
Silly. It's so much better to not have to think. Even your entertainment industry proves this.

Just embrace letting the 'bots do the work and enjoy a life of ease and luxury.

L20-L25 Common IO's as appropriate until I can buy the set pieces I want
(which I have already begun to collect by that point in the toon's career, based
on a Mid's plan for the build)...

Between Level 22 and Level 27, I start Frankenslotting in earnest.

As was pointed out earlier, they out-perform +3 SO's by that point, they're
cheaper than higher level IO's, and since they never expire, I get full benefit
for a much longer time in addition to working set bonuses available in all PvP zones.

I've found that to be a pretty good approach for equipping my toons. YMMV

I remember when people weren't interested in Thunderstrikes and people here were posting how great a set it is. Someday you and I won't be able to do our mid-upper 20s frankenslotting as people figure out how great it is.

I prefer inf sinks to be based on player choice, not bad design aimed at generating 'mistakes'.
Either way, with it we are stuck with either a dangerous inf sink or an annoying timesink. I am going so slow and careful with the market any more.

And they are all pretty similar in what you do.

Free, friend! Free from a legal system that arrests criminals. Free from conviction sentences and protection. The freedom to have a villain rob a bank blind and kill fifteen people on the way out, because pointing out that he has powers might hurt his feelings.

Why not free? It's such a whistling word. Like, like a bird.
Reminds me of the following Miranda rights as delivered by Billy Crystal's character in "Running Scared" (1986).

"You have the right to remain dead.
Anything you do will be used against you.
You have the right to the coroner.
If you cannot afford one, we will appoint a medical examiner for you."

    That's freedom, baby.

Indeed. Praetor White saved thousands where they should not have survived. I don't see how anyone could truthfully disparage him. The smear campaigns from that other world about our heroes make me want to go there and bash them about.

With such fantastic programs dedicated to doing what's best for the nations both overseas and home, I can certainly see why you would praise Emperor Cole's concern for childrens' welfare.

Please refrain from calling him Tyrant. We find the title to have a negative connotation.
"Tyrant" is just one of the lies told by this so-called "Statesman" and his stooges who cannot even keep their streets safe enough for children to walk on them.
  24. It really depends on my mood and the character but some I start at level 7.

Most I start by level 22 and certainly by level 32. I figure what else is my inf for?

Not sure what you mean here. You will ALWAYS have access to a market. And, since you can carry stuff with you, I don't see any problem anyway.
I am not sure what Chaos meant either but I know I will find it annoying to have to hop over to the Rogue Islands to use the BM if I were a Rogue and hop back to Paragon City to use WWs if I am a Vigilante as things are reported to work at this time.

Odds are I will simply Vendor or delete stuff I am not certain is very valuable.
