  1. Well even if it is a good guide given the fluid nature of changes I still think you'd be better off asking questions here and checking out searches on Paragonwiki.com

The answer crew here is pretty fast and paragonwiki is kept very up to date.

You ever see that web "game" where the button keeps moving so people can't click it?

Oh and you forgot the initial installation of the prompt which people must have wanted removed.
  3. hmmmm... So it seems there is a loophole if people have multiple accounts. Very interesting.

What the bug was actually began with the markets three years ago.

Some of you may recall seeing "aucresloginupdate" in an error message back then which we concluded was a script or query to see what your market results were.

That went away a month or two after Issue 9 and it resulted in you would only get the market result message upon login if you weren't buying/selling too many things.

So if you were selling bulk items like salvage you wouldn't get the notification upon login (or at least I never would) or if I sold many enhancements (typically more than 5) since my last login.

  6. I think the reason this most surprised me is that they just did away with the market purge on active accounts.
  7. No he also asked for a comparison with tankers and specifically mentioned stone and invulnerability.
  8. I'll throw in my reasons why I can tank better with my black dwarf than my white.

    1. Secondary effect of slowing the attacks of the enemies mean I get beat up less.

    2. When I compare my tactics for hitting the large groups I get a lot of support from my essences which throws it to Black Dwarf's favor. Without the pets, White Dwarf gets a huge headstart.
PB - summon seekers, superspeed in and Pulsar, build up, Solar Flare, switch to Dwarf, start the tanking stuff
WS - have 1-3 essences, tp in, human mire, dwarf, start the tanking stuff

    3. Eclipse carries over to Black Dwarf form

But both can tank pretty well in a pinch.
  9. Apparently there is a purge of unclaimed emails after 30 days according to word posted here

    This! Very much!

I had popped out a couple little amounts for new Going Rogue alts (100k type emails) as well as some temp powers to help the lowbie get started.

I'll just have to keep them on a mule character's market slots until I roll the alts up for Going Rogue.

  12. Answered in player questions.

They don't want us posting the same things on different sub forums.
  13. 1. You get more recipe slots as you level along with certain badges, etc.
See paragonwiki.com for more information on that.

    http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Invention_Storage_Capacity

    2. You can only learn the common inventions like Accuracy, Damage, etc.
The badges needed are also on paragonwiki.com

    3. twinking by email or SG bins

As an addendum, the consingment house markets have most things for sale in case you didn't know.

Anyway, I've been here since the first day of closed beta. I still see a lot of 72 monthers around.
    I agree.

No camping, no corpse runs, etc. It's all win in my book.

Six years, 1 month and still loving it.

So i was wondering if anyone could help point me in the right direction. I wana be able to have fun but eventually have a good character. Thanks in advance guys :].
I don't think you can gimp yourself with a scrapper or a blaster but some are harder to run due to excessive endurance usage.

If you want to be able to take it easy and learn the ropes of the game I don't think it gets much easier than a /regen scrapper.

You can look at paragonwiki.com to get an idea of the various sets and check out the scrapper and blaster forums below for more specialized feedback.

    Welcome to the game.
  16. The main reason I don't like the prompt is if I miss the accept of it then I don't get the power.

    1. How long does it (on average) take to get to level 50? Say I play a little more often than casual (i'd say 2-3 hours a day, maybe more)

    2. What is there to do at 50?

    3. How good is PvP?

    4. Are there any servers I should avoid?

    So thanks for any/all help!

P.S. Feel free to talk about anything that might help me bring me back here!
    1. I'm getting to 50 in about 150-250 hours depending on AT and build. It used to take me about 400-600.

    2. Ouroboros, TFs, Badging, Teaming with others.

    3. I don't PvP so I won't answer that.

    4. If your system cannot handle heavy loads I'd avoid Freedom and Virtue. If you must login to a team invite then you need to go to Freedom or Virtue.

Everyone else was having the same issues and it seemed that something screwy was indeed going on.

This was obviously something new and more problematic than just a problem with the UI.

So, maybe we should try and list the servers of both people having problems and people not having these problems.
It is pretty much Virtue where I have this ongoing market interface problem. It is okay on the other servers.

    Ticket rolls

The reality of MA is we are trading the common and uncommon salvage drops and the common and super common recipe drops (costumes/temp powers) for uncommon and rare recipe drops with Bronze.

If rare salvage gets high enough people might use tickets to buy them but patient bidding still snags me plenty at prices below that threshold.
  20. You give it to me and I give you my eternal gratitude. You can't put a price on that.
  21. I think you should give it to me for my eternal gratitude.

They're getting them faster now. We had to wait 27 months to get the 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, and 24 months vet rewards.
