That we've gotten good at working around the inefficiencies doesn't say jack about the quality of the underlying design.

Was the old UI also flawed? Hell yes, but not as much as the current design, which isn't w/o its positives, and we've all pointed them out, but the negatives still outweigh them, and by quite a bit.
There's really no point in discussing/debating anything with him. You're wasting your time. You'd have better luck teaching a rock to fly while singing.

I'm also not saying it's hopeless or worthless. I'm just saying it needs a recalibration. We shouldn't be running out of endurance as fast as we are, and everyone should be equally affected by it.
So many LOLs in this but I bolded my favorite part.
  3. Essentially they do not want the market to have to handle all the '+' and '++' permutations of every TO/DO/SO/HO.

However if I may suggest you can just try to sell them here or mention it in game on The Market channel.

If this comes about I have been assigned to tar and feather you by someone who is a little weary of all the different currencies in the game. "A little weary" was my replacement for his actual words which apparently would be something like CENSORED CENSORED CENSORED by the forum software.

He also mentioned something about my being his Silent Bob to his Jay as we go looking for you.
  5. I finally can tolerate the wretched thing except for the horrible lag that seems to often occur only on Virtue. I really hate clicking 5-10 times to get the market to take or give me my things.

Ooops, you're right. I was thinking of my merit rolls I take. I can get to 100 or more by level 15 thanks to the exploration accolades and the 11 vet merits.

IMHO bases should be a fun perk anyone can mess around with, not a prestige item requiring a lot of game time to support.
This. As it stands now we can do the low end base building and if we want to spend inf for prestige do more and I think the only things we lack are the ability to pay "anywhere" and some more base goodies.
  9. I often play in AE at level 10 with exp turned off and generate a ton of level 10 bronze rolls 10-14 then I move on to level 15 and again turn off exp and generate a ton of 15-19 because at 15 the Stealth IOs begin.

Then I do it again at 30 for 30-34 and 35 for 35-39.

I am considering adding in a freeze at 20 for a 20-24 roll option at some point.

    XP Debt glitch?

When set in No Exp mode patrol xp looks like debt but based on the OP's words I would also believe it is due to a leveling pact as Dumple suggests.

Here is Exhibit A, a crafting table showing how much one can expect to pay for a level 45 Endurance Modification recipe:

And now, class, we make a little field trip to Wentworth's for Exhibit B...

In this test, I brought up the same recipe and placed a bid at the price I would otherwise be able to purchase said recipe at an invention table.

Now, take note of what happened. Of the 131 that were up for sale, I successfully purchased none of them at the crafting table price. And though I am unwilling to spend my hard earned inf to prove my theory, it is a good bet that if one were to then do the bid creep, one would probably still fail to purchase many of those until the bid got up near what the highest of the last five show, and possibly even higher. Some may slip through at around the 200K point, but it is highly likely that the majority are listed at 300K or more.

Face it, going any amount higher than the table price is foolish. Claiming convenience is incorrect even. After all, to then craft the recipe into an enhancement, you should still need to get to an invention table. And at that point, you may as well wait and just purchase directly for the table price.

Thank you for your time. There will be a pop quiz on this after the break.
I have to stand by my question asking what this meant:

I'd like to see it, if only to cut down on the folks who sell generic IO recipes for higher than the crafting tables sell them for...
There are a few ways to take this:
    1. Stop the rotten jerks listing for more than the table would charge (which you are clearly showing an example of
    2. Prevent uninformed people from listing for more than the table would charge who are then stuck with it until some fool pays more than the table would charge
    3. Prevent uninformed people from paying more than the table would charge.

Now in your example there are only 2 kinds of people who are going to pay more than the table charges: The ignorant and the insane.*

I call them insane because I have asked this in the Market forum and they defend paying more as a convienence even though as you point out it cannot be. Yet they do it and say that is why.

If the person I was quoting meant #1, it really is #3. A person can list a level 10 Acc for 2 billion if they want but it really is only a concern if they are ignorant. Let's face it no one is going to pay the 2 billion for it.

All too often people say people are selling things for too much at the market and this is never, ever true. People can list for too much or people can pay too much but you cannot sell for too much because it means someone was willing to pay the amount no matter how crazy it might seem to everyone else.
  15. I think City Traveler shows they can do things with the travel power pools so I would really like them to open up flight and teleport pools to Kheldians even if it means they block all the Fly powers except Air Superiority from Peacebringers and all the Teleport powers but Group Teleport from Warshades.

The vendor price of an item would be one additional datum in the rollover information. I wouldn't call that excessively cluttered, and it wouldn't even necessarily be part of the AHUI.

What I would like to see added to the AHUI is, in addition to the last 5 prices for an item and their dates, the lowest price that an item has been traded for in the last five minutes, hour, day, week, and month. If the "impatience tax" were made more public, perhaps there would be less outcry over AH prices based on seeing only momentary price spikes and not long-term trends.

Thanks. That is a good idea. I had gotten to the point when on Virtue (which seems to experience market lag beyond belief while the other servers don't have the same problem) to sit on the sold/bought when trying to claim my inf/items.
  18. I don't have a problem with this idea.

What do you mean by this?
  20. I just realized there are two ways to interpret "they expected us".

    1. "I expect you to clean your room."
    2. "I expect you to sleep till noon."

In case 1 it is what the authority figure wants you to do while in case 2 they are acknowledging you will do it if not stopped.

I meant #2 version of they expected us to try to store things in email.

    Any thoughts on this?
Sometimes I take the pre-req from one and the travel from the other. For example I might still want Hasten but I want Fly or I might want Air Superiority with a non-Fly travel power and use a jet pack for flying.
