There's a totally simple fix to that. Once DJ Zero in Pocket D sees how well the guy in Cimerora is doing, he sets up his own 4th market, not linked to any of the other 3. He also only pays in his own new currency, ZeroClix.

ED was a PR mess but eventually it came through the other side. Some are still very angry about it but that they are still here should indicate how good the game is overall.

PvP was never very strong so the devs rolled the dice hoping to make it viable. I don't think there is much they could do to get a decent percentage to PvP here. It's never been much liked.

Now the competition will be interesting. I am certain we will see a dip in players playing as many rush to check out the new shinies but odds are they will have a lot of bugs and other issues that every MMO suffers through. I suspect though we may lose some to those, we will also gain some who will be drawn to the genre but not be satisfied with those 2 options.

At the core, this game is horribly easy and casual friendly. Most MMOs just don't cater to that.

It's amazing that with so many threads on the front page right now about people giving away or straight up destroying inf, you're generalizing everyone on this forum as greedy. Simply amazing.

Smurphy is right (or course) that even if the prices were forced cheaper, you'd STILL never have one because people would just be selling them in public channels for the going rate (which is SET by the buyers). Alternately, they'd be snatched up so fast in most cases that you'll never see one. If MORE of them drop, the price will go down naturally AND more people will have access to them.

It's also worth mentioning that regional internet problems can mess up your connection to one of the server farms. Freedom, Infinity, Liberty, Pinnacle, Triumph and Victory are on computers physically located in Virgina (the 'East Coast Servers'). Champion, Guardian, Justice, Protector and Virtue are on computers in California (the 'West Coast Servers').

So, if you do decide you like the game, you'll probably want some characters on a server in group A and one in group B.

Sometimes a server will go down. If you want to be really prepared be on all 11!

I'd recommend doing Kalinda's arc.

I find energy melee to be a lot of fun but scrappers don't have access to it. Fiery melee is splashy though.

Normally you need either Hover or Air Superiority before you can take fly and you have to be level 14 (people with 60 months vet reward can take it at 6).

So you will need to take one of those other 2 by level 12 if you want fly at 14.

If we can, I will take at least one of each (PB and WS) Rogue.

1. You can finish your existing contacts (if any).
2. There are repeating mission contacts in Cimeroa and RWZ and for heroes only in the Shadow Shard.
3. You can do anything in Ouroboros you like though once you have done it all it would all be a repeat and not new.
4. Trials, Task forces and Strike forces.
5. Street sweep in the high level zones.
6. Earn missing badges.
7. Run radio/paper missions and safeguard/mayhem missions.
8. PvP
9. Rikti mothership raid
10. Hamidon
11. roll up a new character
12. Mission Architecht
13. Ask for more level 45-50 new content
14. Wait for Going Rogue

It's kind of a bad sign when during peak play hours you have only two servers that hit medium load and one would expect that with Champions and DC online coming out down the road, the CoH population is going to shrink even more. Really I think they need to develop a CoH 2 because it's really going to take a new game with new graphics, mechanics, and game play to bring in more people that will stay. Don't get me wrong, CoH is a great game, I came back to it because I wanted a change from WoW, but I will always argue that the lack of what I see to be a true endgame is what causes people to leave the game in the end.

Heck, the forums would be boring without them to entertain me.

I enjoy all my 256 characters, just some more than others and some more often than others but it sure does help avoid burnout when you can hop to the other side or a different level range or a different style of character.

It's almost (but not exactly) like each character is another version of the game.

I'd buy a lifetime if it wasn't more than $300 (I'm lying my real number is higher but I wouldn't want them to know that).

Many of us vocal posters are extremely passionate about this game. I hate this game because it has killed my interest in all my other games for 5 years now.

I belong to a group jokingly referred to as Fulmens' accuracy weenies (or something like that).

We have no less than 50% ACC slotted in primary attacks. We hate missing. But I would never say someone will need to be as ACC insane as I am.

But perhaps the Paragonwiki article does explain it well enough for them or Arcanaville's article on it.
