There have been server upgrades (especially to Freedom) to handle larger loads so the green on Freedom means the server isn't burdened.
However we also have the convergence of the fall with school resuming and new MMOs which have probably reduced some of the Freedom playerbase.
If you really want to know, this Friday and Saturday evenings should tell the tale with reactivation and double xp from Thursday afternoon - Monday morning. -
If they plan on doing something, they need to start the teasing process.
In the U.S. that is the Friday after Thanksgiving so many will have the day off from work and school so it could be interesting. -
With reactivation this weekend you might actually hear from him/her.
-
I would actually respec my higher level characters if I could do this.

Quote:Though I would want enough advance notice so I could save instead of spend. Seems like everytime I get up over 500 million I spend it all.I still like my idea of making it voluntary, being able to translate your inf into whatever form of advancement they come up with so you can Go Rogue.
I think being able to 'buy' some or all of your advancement to the 'other side' would appeal strongly to many of the uber-rich. I'd happily drop a billion to flip factions on day one, and I bet a lot of other folk would too. -
Quote:Sorry if I confused anyone. That was all I meant by what I wrote. It is. Anything they disclose at Hero Con will have been vetted by Marketing and is fine for public dissemination. It's only the closed beta which requires the NDA.
I wonder if I can win the lottery tomorrow night so I can go to Hero Con. -
Quote:They have to sign an NDA to get to see it so we are only going to get to see what the company wants us to see.Know what you mean
Im counting on players to post news/updates/screenies second by second as they show off some GR bits
Hope they show off a sneak preview of content/visual upgrade.

Beta access to it even. -
Quote:They drop set recipes of their level. Common recipes and purples are level 50 when they drop from 47+ enemies because they do not exist at levels 47-49. Level 46 enemies still drop the 45 commons but drop the 46 sets. You are doing nothing wrong. You are merely at the fickle whim of the RNG.
I would however suggest cranking the difficulty level down to even con with no bosses. For a level 50, you don't really need to be fighting anything higher level, and doing them even ensures you will be fighting stuff that can drop purples.
I noticed that when I did a run with one of my 50s set at -1, level 49 enemies were dropping level 49 recipes instead of 50s. Was this a recent change? After all, I do recall before the new difficulty settings were implemented that enemies as low as 47 had a chance of dropping level 50 recipes. -

Odds are you need to get Anti-Matter or Black Swan.
-
The last few 2XP I made bank on selling common IOs but this time I am just going to level up some characters.
-
Obviously you fail to see it. There was nothing in my post or attitude that you are imagining is there. The problem is entirely in your perceptions. I was trying to explain to you why it works the way it does but you choose to keep the chip firmly planted on your shoulder.

Quote:Yeah, they gave it to us so we would feel more important than you. It's a marketing tool to make people that have been playing for five years feel more important than those that have been playing for less than five years.
Oh, and it gives them a free power, the bastards.
I know everytime I login I get a warm thought of how superior I am to everyone who started after me.
That's sarcasm. I thought I better spell that out for you.
And it's paying, not playing. You know the people whose money have kept the game going so there would be one when new people showed up. -
I wouldn't mind an option to unlock an unlockable code be it from convention events, purchaseable packages or ingame actions like the ITF or KHTF.
-
Just a reminder with the new SSK and ability to earn XP when exemplared down, you don't even have to do the 40-50 stuff to get to 50.
-
In a TF/SF or Ouros you could actually do both so you can get a lot of merits and a lot of inf.

It's not the game you left 3 years ago I am fairly confident in stating. -
I think we are guaranteed to see posts saying "No one plays heroes/villains any more. Everyone is in Praetoria."

Quote:But when I play I win because I got to play.I don't think it has anything to do with how much time you spend on the game, but totally depends on your approach to/attitude about the game.
As a forumite named Rigel Kent put it:
"Hardcore plays to win. Casual plays to play." -

Quote:I would expect if you are going the other way until you complete the cross you should still get to stay in your SG but if gray characters can form SGs, and I would think they could, that may be the best SG to be in since you would earn prestige everywhere.Hmm, and what would happen in SG mode? I assume your SG affiliation goes out the window when you switch anyway.
Lots of stuff the devs have to figure out and perhaps that means about 2-3 months in beta.
Perhaps they will take tips from other games which have this kind of ability. Does anyone know what WoW can do?
