T'was the night before Christmas and all through the City,
My accounts were logged on, but the drops ... they were [censored].
The demon map was spawned on Invince with care,
With hopes that my lowbies soon would be there.
The mentors SK'd the others, I'm set with perma-bridges,
With visions of expees as they door-sat on their britches.
My main with her Fulcrum, reaching her damage limit,
Had just summoned Imps and prepared to begin it.
When out in Peregrine there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the portal to see what was the matter.
Away to the zone spot I flew like a flash,
Reading the load tips and preparing to act.
The noise from the portal - behind me it droned,
Gave distraction to searching just as I zoned.
When, what to my wondering eyes should I glimpse?
But a seven foot blonde and an army of Imps.
With a yellow cowboy hat, she called me a nut,
I knew in a moment, it must be Monkeybutt.
"More rapid with two Kins!" She shouted as she joined,
And she whistled, and reset, her Speed Boost she loaned.
"Invite Mac B and Starlight!" then she grabbed my arm,
"Invite my alt and your alts and lets start this farm!"
"To the front of the map! The middle of the mob!"
"Now Fulcrum! Now Fulcrum! Just AoE them all!"
We re-zoned and summoned, her costume was a tease,
But we plowed through that map, melting demons with ease.
So back to the portals and a reset we flew,
With a tray full of salvage, and recipes too.
And then, in a instant, I heard from the recliner,
The sighing and snorting of an angry Designer.
As I reset the map, and was turning around,
Down to the portal came Positron with a bound.
He was dressed all in armor, from his head to his shoe,
And his gear was all golden with electrons of blue.
A build of all purples - he had been slotted well,
But he looked like a noob, using power-slide was the tell.
His eyes-how they blazed! His face was so angry!
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!
His little Dev mouth was drawn up in a scowl,
And his wee little badge list was as blank as a towel.
He ranted and raved about some clear game vision?
But I was trading my loot, I'm bad with division.
He said something about risk and getting rewards,
But Monkey was impatient her new lowbie had dual swords!
He was chubby and plump, much like his gamers,
And I laughed when I saw him, that slide is for lamers!
I waved with an emote, and asked him to stay put,
"The map is awaiting, and power-leveling is afoot."
He spoke not a word, but went straight to his coding,
He found a way to slow us, but it wasn't too boring.
And raising just a finger, a true one-gun salute,
He logged for the night so we could farm for more loot.
We started clearing the map, but then I got a /tell,
I asked Monkey to stop, but she doesn't listen too well.
The message was from Posi, I was surprised to read it,
"Have fun with our vision, no matter how you should see it!"
