Why not just pap your pants and jump away when you see the mitoes - thats what everyone will do anyways.
If we all do this then they can't kill all of us. -
I also have a lvl 50 Kin/elec. You'll find you are very usefull in base raids if your SG has any.
-
Been here since Issue 0...still haven't done most TF as I just don't have the time to spend hours on end doing them (Case of CBA).
-
Well the point I was making is that the attacker has to stand still.

A good stalker can kill a good blaster with or without emp buffs. If your just dependant on AS then that is your main problem.
Stalkers can also get super speed and combat jumping so what's your point? They can also phase and a few sets have a self heal so they can also phase and heal to full.
Thing is though, a stalker can hide and placate so a good proportion of the fight the blaster can't even see his target (plenty of time to recover). If the stalker stays hidden and moving the blaster will never be able to hit you, clear mind or no clear mind.
It still is possible to kill a blaster on a stalker..... Quite easily.

You obviously never tried to kill a good blaster as a meele toon.
AS has a long animation time and the target needs to stand still.
A good blaster will NEVER stand still but hopp around like crazy or fly.
For your meele attacks to actually hit you need to get close to the blaster first which is almost impossible if he/she is superspeeding and jumping around.
The blaster can fire the attacks from range while hopping around, with no need to be close to the target, the meele toon cant.
There is a reason 95% of all hero PvP players have blasters or spine scrappers cause ranged burst damg is king in PvP not meele damg.

Incorrect. The target does not need to stand still for an AS to work. I suggest you look up or even try this power before being so wrong and shaming yourself on a public forum. -
Come on folks - theres no greater fun than tp'ing someone to a mob and web-nading them. gets the juices really flowing.
-
I agree with Hammerfall on everything he said there.
-
Hey - it wasn't me who messed up the organisation of this thing, which lets face it, was absolutely terrible and lead to the current mess

The problem with relying on the captian of team 1 to speak to the captian of team 2 is that at the end of the day, team 1 captain has no proof of what was said and the team 2 captain has no proof of what was said. If messages are relayed through the judges then that judge can verify what was said by team captian 1 and team captain 2, with the added benefit that the judges themselves are aware of all communication.
-
A 20 minute replay isn't a lot of time considering how much time people were waiting around.
A team leader cannot be expected to inform all 3 judges as the leaders should just communicate with 1 judge. No point in telling all 3, all 3 asking the other team leader what they think, then the other team leader telling all 3 judges their decision, then all 3 judges telling the first team leader their decision. 1 Judge communicates with the team leaders and the other judges.
If questions need to be asked and points raised then the judge who was originally informed should have performed their role correctly. -
The blame for all this lies totally and utterly with the judge that was informed.
For the judge who was aware of the 2 substitutions - it was their job to inform the other judges and the opposing team leader.
Official communication should be made through the judges as they need to be aware of what the team leaders have decided and they should be the ones checking the team lists to see what communications need to be made.
A disqualification for something that could have been cleared up before a match is a failing on the part of the judges - especially the judge that was informed of the situation. -
Lets face it guys...no one is as perfect as me so you are all going to have to accept your flaws and move on. don't keep comparing yourselves or others to me because you will only be disappointed.
-
No worries. I always said it was your call. I knew we wouldn't win without me though

I thought my team (MMFA) were fighting on Sunday!
Rent told me it was pushed back until then. -
The char name for mine is incorrect - it should be The Nucleator.

I'm not surprised Sweet Chilli isn't interested in Pentad, I haven't seen him in one yet.

You ain't been looking in the right places at the right times then. -

The way your post came across.

So my post came accross like I'd posted in this thread before and then changed my mind?
Go and read my post again, then read your reply. Then appologise for getting it wrong. Then appologise for giving a stupid reason. -

The event hasnt changed since the first post...
So why change your mind now ??
[/ QUOTE ]
This was my fist post in this thread o what make you think I have changed my mind? -
Reading this thread, this isn't the kind of even I thought it was going to be. Not sure how our team leader will feel about all the limitations, but I'm not that bothered if we miss it. But good luck with it.

I think what we need is a new rule.
If someone doesn't fight back at PvP then give them what they want I say.
TP them to a big mob and just hold them there. There you go. A nice PvE death for them to enjoy.
If we make that a rule from now on, the PvP zones will be much better places. -

I personally used to enjoy tp'ing other players to mobs and holding them there while the mobs kill them.
However, I don't do it that much these days - unless I'm bored. I considered this bad form but I just can't help myself. I am a bad man!
[/ QUOTE ]
I thought deliberately TPing people in to mobs to cause them debt was officially considered griefing?
[/ QUOTE ]
With the intention of causing them debt and debt alone, I beleive it is. But if its just with them intention of getting them killed then its fine according to Bridge (Gawd rest his soul).
The difference is purely intentional and can only be proved if it is admitted to.
