  2. What about Ice vs Ninj? Debating on what I want to roll with Staff come i22. Ninj is probably easier to softcap but Ice Has Hoarfrost, Energy Absorption, and Icy Bastion. But the graphics on the armors are horrible -__-

    MoM trial and Tk

    Hurricane also works well. I use it for this and to push the Nightmares towards her & then immob them.
  4. I debated the same thing, but I ended up going Psionic for the mez protection.
  5. Just got IO'd and +3 the other day...Holy ****. Plant/Storm lives up to the hype, hands down. It's like the more opponents I'm against, the easier it gets. So much AoE chaos & carnage, so many ways to control. Simply awesome. Only downside is I don't have a heal because I went Ageless & Psionic Mastery. But with 5 other Incarnate slots left, it's up in the air still if I'll even need one.

  7. Went back & made a couple changes. End Recov is a little better, End Use is down some. Couldn't get the 90% recharge I hoped for but 87.5% isn't to bad.Ageless does cure the end problems, 100% Recovery (iirc) which is perma at T4 ain't to shabby as well as giving me a good amount of recharge. 35% Ranged Def. Anything you see please point it out.

    Was thinking going Cardiac/Rebirth. If Ageless really is good enough to kill all of Storm's end problems I could see going Intuition/Ageless

  14. What'd be interesting would be letting -resistance effect Mez resistance as well.

    I took Challenge with the base slot with a Taunt IO on my Dark/Traps. Every time Scrappy would run I'd hit him with it & he'd turn back around..he runs a lot though. lol
  17. I read somewhere that it was pretty nice, if anything slot it while you level up & try it out

    Mortar doesn't take Hold Sets so, it wouldn't work.
  19. Errant I really do appreciate all the advice you've given. Saved me a lot of trouble =D
    With that said, here are some changes I made/didn't make.

    The 2 Travels is just something I've gotten used to having on all of my characters just about, don't know why I just wind up with an open slot due to not having any powers I want to choose, and I like the extra movement.

    Triage is mostly for AV/GM fights, so had to keep that.

    Dropped a KB IO, probably going to add the Slow Res enhance

    Added proc to Dark Blast, switched set to Thuderstrike in Gloom

    Switched proc into TT, changed slotting in Mortar

    Fighting to Leadership, dropped Focused Acc since I now have Tactics.

    Switched up slotting in Life Drain, little bit better on the numbers.

    Grabbed Challenge, figured it'd help with the AI issues when fighting hard target(Looking at you, Ghost of Scrapyard) and needed something that didn't require any slots.

    Lost a little recharge, and my end use is a little higher before I take any iAbilities into consideration. I think it might perform better overall though. Any thoughts?

  23. Wow, great info here. Realized I won't need Dark Pit since I have Seekers to soak alpha so I can pick up Night Fall. Also I'm going for a concept build so I'd like to keep the /Dark Epic. Soul Drain/Dark Consumption seem to good to pass up anyway. After talking to a couple people I'll probably be going Defender, much easier to softcap S/L/E with not to much of a damage hit solo, and better debuff numbers.
  24. First I gotta say..Traps is a beast.

    Now, how is Dark Blast damage wise? I know it won't be on the same level as Fire, but is it still competitive? AoE & ST.

    Do I need Nightfall? I haven't played with it yet but a 20 degree cone doesn't seem very useful.

    Since Dark seems to be lacking the AoE punch other primaries have, i'll be using Trip Mine to help out. Figured with Soul Drain it should pack a pretty good punch, is there any flaws I see with this thinking?

    What should I build for defense wise? I know FFG gives defense to all but I don't know if I should shoot for M/R/A or S/L/E/Ranged.


    What kind of tactics do you use when it comes to laying down your Traps? Only lvl 28 but I'm curious to hear about all the ways people start different encounters.
