Anonymous sources in MAGI and DATA fear that ArachnosÂ’ spies are seeking a locking mechanism for temporal anchor technology.

I don't get how that 'Angelic' costume is angelic.

Probably just that "Anal Strip" wouldn't make it through QA, so they changed it to "Angelic". Can't they come up with some cool/classy new garb for the ladies without resorting to the half-naked stuff? -
I think it will make the lvl 6 - 14 lowbie life a little more bearable by boosting hover and CJ. Might also help your lowbie get out of a jam if you fall in the gulch in the hollows or need to fly up to a war wall ledge to get out of trouble in a pinch.

Dang it! I already blew my Halloween prediction -- I definitely agree it should have been on Friday the 13th!
Oh well, maybe I'll get my I8 prediction right! clicky -

A couple of notes from my experience withmy lvl 40 fire/dark. I take speed instead of fly for 2 reasons. One is hasten 3 slotted is still better than no hasten at all. Two is that ss + shadowfall is the same as invis from concealment pp. Only things that will see you are rikti drones, nemesis snipers, and some carnie bosses. Then I skipped ht and aim for recall friend and tp. I have never missed the rez or the disorient from ht and with tp I can stealth missions which i find invaluable.
Also Nemesis suck because they are fear resistant (found out the hard way) And wolves and carnie strong men act as if there is no tar patch at all.
My favorite tactic is to herd entire missions onto a single tar patch using darkest night and then rof. Rof is not limited by aoe limits. Set dn on a mob at the end of the mission then kite him and all his buddies back to the front of the mission where youwill quickly lay a tp. Back around the corner til well mired. Pop a red, fear em and lay down the rof. Alternate other aoe's til all are dead. Very gratifying.
Hope it helps.

Wow! Just Wow! I tried this DN kiting technique after reading it here. It's excellent.
Going the Hasten, SS route is less painful now that you earn temp flight and jump packs in the Mayhem missions. Since you're already taking fitness, SS and hurdle will get you most places since you can run sideways up a wall. I only pop my temp flight power to get over a really nasty gap or get way up high. I think I've had both the flight and jump packs now for 4-6 levels and they aren't even half used. -
Lawn darts were much more fun.

Here's a fun thing to try... any time you see the word 'nerf' substitute the word 'balance'. It works!
"Man! They really balanced that power this time!"
"Oh No! They balanced me!"
"I sure hope they don't try and balance <insert power here>."
"My fire tank was uber until the devs balanced him."
"They've balanced us one too many times! I'm quitting!"
... -
Maybe NERF is really an acronym for 'Net Effect: Reduced Fun'

Ick!! Did you see that preview of the book cover? No way was that drawn by a professional, I used to draw things like that when I was 14 with all of the proporitions scewed. I really hope thats either a bad scan of the cover or its a rough draft because that is just embarrasing!

On the bright side, it looks like they turned on water effects without crashing the book. Must be an Nvidia cover and not ATI. -

I've alluded to this in a couple of places, but I wanted to describe something we'll be doing for Super Reflexes quite soon...
Super Reflexes Auto powers (Agile, Dodge, and Lucky) now add some minor damage resistance. This Damage resistance starts at 0%, but improves as the caster loses HP. The Resistance kicks in at 60% HP (when HP bar first changes color) and markedly increases at 40% and 20% (again, when the bar changes color). We have not yet determined the exact values.
This change is in addition to the recent modification that gave most Defense Primary and Secondary powers resistance to Defense Debuffs (self Defense powers).

Thanks! I might make a super reflex hero sometime...
My question is will there be a buff for stealth? My enemies can see me now with it on!

Try running Stealth and SuperSpeed together. -

...silly useless temp power...

Crey Pistol is the most uber power in the game. People just don't know how to maximize its potential.

Shhhh.. Don't tell anyone, but I heard that you can one-shot Hami with a Crey Pistol! -

Recall Friend :
IMO is a MUST Power for any Rezzer.
[/ QUOTE ]
I took both recall friend and tp foe. I'll recall friend fallen teammates into a pile preferably around a corner from any enemies, tp foe an enemy to the pile, hit him with FS or PG and use him to power the rez. Works great. -
I wonder if this need became apparent while testing a new shields powerset? I would think the rumored shields set would be heavily defensive.
OMG! I think I may actually be looking forward to I7. -

in other words:
How much debuff can a resist buff resist, if a resist buff can buff debuff resist?

A resist buff can resist all the debuff a resist buff buffs, if a resist buff debuffs resists. -
With the new graphics engine of CoV and I6 Coh - Do you have any tips for graphics settings to reduce the lag during the Hami raid? Does switching to a lower res, turning off player effects, shadows, etc. help? I've only participated in one raid and my machine appeared to freeze right after my tank moved in on the attack phase. I had read somewhere to keep clicking the attack powers since often the client will appear frozen but the attacks will still fire, so I did. I would be interested in any tips or tricks on the game settings to maximize the Hami hammering experience.

Here's an idea. What about selling salvage for prestiage for superbases?
[/ QUOTE ]
Not against the idea... But salvage is right now, something most people have in excess. If a small group could rase a decent amount of prestige doing this, a larger group could rase even more.
[/ QUOTE ]
They could do some sort of sliding salvage value scale. Assign some sort of SG scarcity % or multiplier based on the SG's total assets (current base value + prestige).
Essentially salvage could be cashed in for prestige at a high rate for an SG with few assets, but is worth less and less prestige as the SG's assets build.
Something like this encourages small SGs to cash in salvage, large SGs to craft, and makes that fun period in the middle where you have to decide whether you will expand your base or craft items with your limited resources. -

I have to ask. Was this done on a test server or a live one?
[/ QUOTE ]
From reading what he did as a test, leaving a guy on auto attack, attacking something, for 4 DAYS, without killing it... you can't DO that on live, so it HAD to be an internal test server. Am i right? You can't do crap like that on a live, or even OUR test server.
[/ QUOTE ]
Certainly not with the daily maintenance schedule. -
But wait! You completely left out the part about bumping your thread using your second forum account!
-
Now wouldn't that be sneaky of States to attack at 7am instead of 7pm!
-
Of course I'm speaking with no factual basis or shred of reality...
but... if CoH players can only have bases if they also run CoV as part of their account, how would this be implemented? Would bases only be allowed to be built in the CoV/CoH PvP combat zones? Taking that one step further, would CoH account holders be restricted from entering the PvP zones if they don't also own Cov? That would limit the PvP content in either game to players that owned both games, right?
So if you have a CoH SG and half the members own Cov and half don't, the have nots are pretty much outta luck for using the SG's base. -

The part where that statement has been a complete joke for A YEAR AND A HALF. I guess we're all supposed to just ignore that year and a half? Pretend it never happened?
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah... the past year an a half was all just an extension of that Winter Lord event where everyone leveled soooo fast. Time to get back to reality!
