Very odd. It's not like people need to use obscure IOs to transfer funds any longer now that we have gleemail. -

Raise the inf cap.
Give users the option of accepting merits for TF and Trial completion or a random Pool C roll as long as the same TF isn't run more than once in a 24 hr period, otherwise declining merits as the reward.
Give users option of a random purple roll for completing multi-TF accolades like Task Force Commander.
Allow characters to craft IOs at merit vendors (e.g., make the merit vendor function as a crafting table.)
Allow users to retain (and thus vend) all crafted set IOs when respec'ing.
Allow users to claim inf from auction sales without returning to WW/BM. -
So it happens on different characters with different powersets.
Other people don't have this happen or claim the game for them is working as intended.
The only logical conclusion is that the game senses the awesomeness that is Leandro and flees from him in terror.

I noticed that too.
I'm pretty sure all of them disappear during a zombie apocalypse or a rikti raid, but lately they don't seem to be reappearing. Maybe they just stay gone until the next server maintenance and reboot? -

It's called a trial account and you can play until level 14. If you like it you can pay $15 a month and do more. -

I know Verizon bought a bunch of nation-wide bandwidth rights from the FCC not too long ago and I've heard they will turn on their 4G network by the end of the year. 4G should be much faster than 3G and the frequency range Verizon bought should be pretty good at penetrating buildings.
From what I've read, people seem to really like the 4G HTC EVO offered by Sprint except that 4G coverage is kind of limited geographically.
If you can give up your DSL internet and use the 4G connection (6-10Mbps), the $30/mo fee is probably a wash.
My Verizon contract is up in October, but I'm hoping to hold out and see how this materializes. If anything, it might at least drive down the prices on the 3G smart phones. -

I'm not sure, but there are other powers where a secondary effect enhancement is not slottable, but it benefits from IO's. At least that used to be true about choking cloud and holds. Not sure if it's still that way.
Can you copy to test, slot the IO and see what the hover-over says? -
First off - I base none of this on actual hard data.
That said, my perception is that there is a supply side shortage. I think this may be because there are fewer people playing on live and therefore fewer people are getting and putting excess IOs on the market. As the live server player base drops, demand doesn't drop at the same rate as the supply drops. Basically, I don't think that supply and demand are a 1:1 relationship.
What about tying the the IO drop percentage to the overall game population averaged across all servers for some small period of time like 48hrs or 1 week? As average game population goes down, have the IO drop rates creep up. -
I don't think the dual builds work that way.
I think the character levels up to the same level on both builds. You just have the option of selecting different powers in your primary, secondary, pools, and epp; or the option to slot the powers differently between builds. -
