I don't think we need any more fight clubbing, to be honest. It takes away from actual zone PvP. Keep it a "sekrit". People interested in it find out about it very quickly anyway.

2 stalkers, 2 emps, 1 KB (probably force field). The entire lol strategy = the FF uses the automatic KB to KB someone at will (since there is no possible way to counteract it).....the 2 emp buffed stalkers run up and AS the helpless target. Mad skillz, yo.

End drain didn't get affected by DR. However, it was always kind of laughable, so it's not really a big deal. Therms are still really the only truly viable end drainer. Kins are, but to a much lesser extent. Basically same as before.

-What are standard 1v1 and team Blaster powersets and what's actually worth playing as far as team support?
Blasters don't exist in teams anymore. For 1v1, sonic/EM is the only viable choice.

Yep, when there was the mass exodus of players when I13 hit, they simply covered it up. Even though they clearly lost A LOT of profit in that week, they made a statement saying that subscriptions actually went up and everything was perfect.

So yeah....the only thing accomplished by cancelling is that you don't pay for this POS game anymore. But it will have zero effect on the actual game. I swear, if every single person quits except one, they'll make an official statement for that one person that everything is perfectly fine and subscriptions are at an all time high.

I noticed that they made a huge change in the last couple weeks...of course, no patch notes.

When you zone, any powers/buffs you have active on you drop. No more using elude in sirens call, etc. The problem is that ALL powers are affected, not just ones that you shouldn't be able to use. So for example, if you're a SR scrapper with PB on auto, and it goes off right before you zone, you're without mez protection for 2 mins. I just played my kin, and my IR went off right before I zoned....since it's my only travel power, I was screwed for 2 mins...had to just sit there like an idiot. Granted 2 mins isn't a huge deal, but still, it's very annoying.

This has happened a couple times before, but both times it was due to some bug they ended up fixing. Any idea if this time it's a bug too? Can't rely on the devs for any info as usual, so gotta ask the players.

I was gonna make one....but then I realized I don't want to ever make a new toon in this game for fear that it will be made useless on another one of the devs' completely random whims. Haven't made a new toon since I13 came out.

Every 8 seconds. If you use it before 8 secs is up, your heal will be less...and less, as you keep using it. So use it with 8 second intervals.

You were called a troll because you asked a question that's been asked about 5000 times in the last few months, and one for which probably 50 threads already exist. When somebody starts a thread asking about something that's been a very controversial topic for months, it really looks like a desperate attempt to start another flame war....especially when the answer can be found simply by spending two minutes reading the patch notes or one of the 50 threads on the subject.

If you really aren't a troll (which seems doubtful), just read the patch notes for I13. Simple as that.

To elaborate on mac's post, that is a pretty bad build for PvP. AR just isn't very good at all, and /elec is just ok.

But for blasters in general, you should either go with SJ+SS or fly+TP. One travel power is just not enough. SJ is owned by any -jump. SS has no vertical mobility. Fly is way too slow. And TP is impossible to use in combat.

So you should always try to have 2. SJ+SS match perfectly together, and fly+TP also work well. But the playstyles are completely different, and both have pluses and minuses.

If you care, probably 99% of top players have SJ+SS.

Fire or Ice. Fire is more damage and revolves around being able to heal fast. Ice revolves around being a big sack of HP and hibernoobing.

You do realize that widows only existed for like half a year (or even less) before I13 came out, right? Also, you do realize that stalkers are just as effective in zones as they were before I13, right? And lastly, you do realize that doms buffing themselves with 4 accounts is still possible, exactly like before I13, right?

I play differently depending on my mood. Sometimes I want a challenge, and sometimes I just want to relax. The problem is that you basically called me out saying I was a noob simply because on SOME occasions (when I happened to be on the same side as Ronin, and he happened to invite me), I would play with lots of buffs. Granted, it was a reasonable assumption....if I ran into someone that was using all those buffs, I'd think they were a noob too. But in your case, you were talking to one of like 3 oldest PvP'ers left in the game hehe. So it's an exception to the rule.

But Ronin's been gone for 2+ months, and I still do just fine, as you've probably seen. So that should tell you something

Anyway, maybe should can team up sometime. I've played a PB in PvP for like 2-3 years, you know

Don't get me wrong, I can still take my fort out and kill people without dying. It's just not really worth it. Once you've driven a Ferrari, it's hard to keep driving it after the engine gets replaced by a Yugo engine.

I didn't mean that a good player can't possibly do anything on a Fort. Just that most people don't bother, because their investments and effort are much better spent on more useful toons.

Yeah I know the ladder just restarted, but lets give it more than 2 weeks before we start calling it a huge success. It was dead for the last like half a year, after all.

For all we know, I15 beta could happen in a month, and that'll put a very quick end to the ladder once again. In fact, they'll probably purposely schedule its release for a day when #1 is playing #2 in the biggest match of the new ladder

Yes, sonic/rad and sonic/cold is probably as good as it gets for corrs. In fact, that's what I'd suggest for people that want to play an offensive corr.
