  1. Just thinking out of the box, occassionally you get recipes dropped that arent very valuable, yet when you check to see how many merits it takes to get the recipe, it hits the 200 merit mark..

    And since I think that the merit costs for 1 rare recipe are completly ludacris (200 merits for one recipe is a joke, thats 8 ITF task forces!) anyway...

    How about if you get a rare recipe you can sell it back to the merit vender for say 1/4 of the merits it costs to get it from scratch..

    So if it costs 200 merits for the recipe you could sell it back to the merit vender for 50..

    The Devs seem to be looking to end farming & get these influence websites to stop selling inf to its players. When they could solve it by making all these rare recipes & 100m purples easier to get hold of, the merit systems a good idea but at the moment its flawed, the prices for each recipe in merits are just as bad as the inf...

    And hell no for Super Speed to be resitant to slow effects, stalkers are overpowered enough since theres no way to detect them no matter how many perception powers or yellows you pop if they have hide, stealth and stealth IO, if they have resistance to slows they'd AS and there would be no way of stopping them from Super Speeding away
  3. Definatly needs a massive engine overhaul, with the release of this "Champions Online" coming soon, I can see CoH looking very outdated and showing its age, it would be like playing Medal of Honor Allied Assault NOW, When theres the likes of Call Of Duty 4 etc

    The main thing for me would be trying to introduce a large update of things into CoH, rather than "New" content or whatever, More AT's (non-epic ones), Improved game engine, more cossie pieces, more customization, After 50 additional powers and slots awarded for badged collected to give people more of a reason to badge hunt, make every single recipe available to buy at reasonable influence prices like 100k rather than this 50 million [censored]...not everyone has 10 hours a day to farm.

    Theres loads that need to be improved in CoH and CoV, with the release of Champions Online I have to say I am very impressed with the way it looks graphically and the way they seem to be trying to give people everything they wanted in this game that they couldnt due to its rapidly aging game engine and AI

  5. Right I've had "Super B" since I first started the game, he is my main character & is no doubt my favourate. When these Inventions came, arguably they changed the game & to be fair, I never really got on board the bandwagin with all the bonus [censored] etc just put me off. But now I wish to make my main character the best it can be, this is a sort of concept build I was thinking off, although on the surface its pretty much the same build I have at the moment aside from the dear'er IO Sets, Fighting Pool & the slots I shifted about to try and accomidate more bonuses and overall playablity.

    However I'd like someone to take a look at the build with IO's and give me advice on perhaps making the tank even better with better sets or better slotting, it would be appreciated, as I said I've have my tank at the moment & hes pretty good in every aspect (aside from fighting psi dealer) Although I'd like to make him great for everything, pvp, pve...av tanking the lot, any advice is helpful advice
