I do fine on Lam and Baf but I suffer on Keyes.

Ill still continue playing on this server. I just hope that this server doesn't become a ghost town.

Whenever I am on a team with another tank I do my best to work together with the other tank to avoid conflicts. I usually have good experience working with other tanks.
So far I have not been rejected from joining a team for being a tank but I have had messages saying they are looking for damage or buffers/debuffers.
Some people are very selective about what ATs are on their teams. -
Thanks for your advice. I will revise the build. I will probably drop conserve power and add weave in its place.

Hello Everyone
I am a returning player. I have been out for almost a year and a lot has change. I am requesting some assitance with my Kat/Inv scrapper.I have not respec this character in a couple years. I believe the last time was before i9 came out. This is the first time, Ive use Mids. Im trying to take advantage of IOs to get this character to its full potential and make this toon i20 compliant seeing that the Fitness pool is now inherent.
As far as budget goes, I dont think I will be able to afford Purples at the moment but everything else is within reach. Years ago, Focus Accuracy was a must have for me but Im not sure if it is till as hot now with the different set bonuses. Please critique my build and advise.
Thanks in Advance.

I think many of us are the same way. We all have different play styles. I prefer melee toons.
Scrappers, brutes and MMs are at the top of my list. I find them to be fun. MY PB was also fun, which I played in human form in melee as if I would play a scapper.
I have no plans to make a dominator nor have I ever made one. I plan to make a defender but have yet to decide on what set. I tried a stalker when CoV came out but I didnt like it and deleted it.
I have a level 50 Ice/Axe tanks. Ice Armor is very enjoyable to me. I think that will be the only tank I ever make.
I finally made a blaster last year and enjoyed the set. Im still trying to decide on what combination to make for a corrupter. -
I'm wondering if the one server will be able to handle all the traffic.
-
I would suggest trying a brute.
-
Quote:Agreed. I also find DA to be more fun than other brute sets. It provides more interaction to be. IOs made things better for DA.I have a claws/DA scrapper with SJ as a travel power and he's nigh unkillable. You do not need to be a pro player to do well with Dark Armor. Out of the box it's one of the most survivable secondaries out there. It has some of the absolute best IO slotting potentional of any armor set. Really. It's pretty amazing.
-
From my experience with the above I personally would roll a brute.

I just got back to the game and havnt played in over a year and half but I have taken down quite a few Heroes/AVs with my Thug/Dark. Everyone has pretty much listed the strategies. One thing I also do is send in Bruiser first at times to the opposite side and attack with the rest of the group usually from behind. You can also use inspirations to help. All in all Thug/Dark is a real solid set and can handle most threats in the game.

Hello Everyone
After a year and a half away from the game, I have returned. Seems like alot of new things have been added to the game. I look forward to playing with everyone. I can be reached at my global @Super Ironbull. -
When you defeat someone or they defeat you. You have to wait 10 minutes before you can kil them or they kill you to get points. You must not be on their defeat list and they cant be on yours.

MoG or Acro at 38?....what would you choose? ;-)
[/ QUOTE ]
Neither. I would take something else like Hasten or a Epic power or Revive.
Spin aint so bad. For soloers it wont be so usefull. In a medium to big team its easily useful. Its up to everyone to decide for themelves. We all play differently. Some people hate Eviscerate. I like it. -
my team had 2 stoners, dark brute, 2 kins, a rad, a thermal and a dark corr
When we did it we had no shivs or nukes.
That last mish was crazy. We had alot of team wipes on that last mish. Seems like those heros got a damage boost. Even Kronus seems to hit harder. -

One sign of an unworthy teammate is the use of "Leet." If a person can't be bothered to speak properly to his teammates, why would he exert effort toward mastery of the game or helping you? For example, avoid healers who use the curt and dismissive "kthxbi" instead of, "Alright. Thank you and see you soon." This leet-speaker cares -nothing- for you and probably won't be much of a healer. Slovenly language reflects a slovenly person. (This absolutely doesn't apply to those for whom English is a second language, but to those too lazy to use even one language properly.)
Another sign is a "flavor of the month" set of powers. You don't want someone who seeks out cheap powersets like Energy Melee, but the one who likes to find unorthodox ways to counter those powers. (Incidentally, Intimidate does something wonderful to the Aim/Buildup combo.)
[/ QUOTE ]
For the most part your guide looks good, however for these two paragraphs I'd re-word them. For the first, leet speak isn't really a sign of a player who can't play, a lot of people use condensed words, I see nothing wrong with it personally, the only real thing that matters is whether you as the player can stand it.
The second paragraph I don't think should be included at all, as 'FoTM' powerset combinations ARE FoTM for a reason. There's nothing wrong with someone wanting to play a good powerset combo, FoTM is really just a derogatory phrase tacked on to a good number of powerset combinations because of (and this is just speculation, mind) players who see what kinds of things the powerset can do and want to play it to. The actual phrase 'flavor of the month' doesn't make sense at all if you think about it. How many months has spines/regen been a flavor, for example?
[/ QUOTE ]
Agreed. Saying Fotm is pointless. Any one can make any combo. Those 2 paragraphs has nothing to do with a bad or good team. -
In villains Super Jump is the best overall. In heros Super Speed is the best.

This the type of guide a person like me needs. I am thinking to make a MM next. Good Job. Nice Guide.

This is amazing guide. Im using your slotting advice on my brute. Best Guide Ive seen thus far for DM/DA.
