Quote:Just tested this out for you on my level 50 MM. Settings at +0/x8, didn't see any bosses. Double checked my boss setting, saw that it was on "does not", fixed that, reset the mission, went back in and still not a single boss to be found.Easy way to test: start the (redside) level 45-50 Ouroboros arc Vigilante Justice. The first mission is Steal the Tapes from the Council. Set at +0/x8, bosses OK, for me the mission is packed with spawn after spawn of minions/LTs only. No bosses.
So, it's not just you. -

Quote:Did you totally miss back on that thread where I said I was stealing it for my sig? You should keep it. Besides, I only post on this forum and it's a good line that should be spread elsewhere tooOkay, you have the same quote in your sig that I do, that's creepy. I must change mine!

It's been a while since I've done this mission, but I seem to recall there being turrets on the wall closest to the bog where all the warwolves spawn.

You should have been tipped off by the names! Ocho Guapo, Haute Huit, Alto Otto, Acht Zunge.... *flees the wrath of Mod8*
-
They're just fancy names for mutation and tech enhancements.

I used to be a big supporter of the "influence isn't money" argument, but after I saw some Hellions gambling in Port Oakes I changed my mind:
"Ha! I win again! Now you owe me even MORE influence!"
He might have said infamy, but the meaning is crystal clear. -
Quote:The amount of people available isn't the problem because you only need ONE OTHER PERSON to make a team. And I have gotten random invites while on /hidesearch, especially when I hang out in a populated area. This is why I don't hang out in populated areas.Ya Know, SunGryphon, I gotta say that finding teams is not the issue....
It is the amount of people to team with. You don't have a problem, because of: time in game, friends, globals.
But do a /hide and see how many random team invites ya get?
Or.... go to a new server where your Global isn't a known player.... what happens?
Yes..... teaming is easy if ya know the channels and have the Globals.... but for those that don't.... it can be rather tuff.

Quote:SunGryphon, so my, what I thought was too high, 50%, may be too low?
BC
Quote:Just an FYI..... Anyone Hidden really doesn't want to team with you, unless they got ya on a freinds list or on a global/SG list.
So.... the 8-10 that team with you that are hidden.... don't wanna team with the rest of us. True? They are hidden, arent they?
BC
Oh, and goobers. None of us like goobers. -
No, I'm just smart about teaming. 80% is an arbitrary number, just like your 50%. It could also be 20%. My point was that -we can't know- how many people are on hide.
However, of the people I play with regularly, about 8 of 10 are on perma-/hidesearch, so based on my personal experience, 80% isn't out of the question. I myself am on perma-/hidesearch. -
-
You can't just arbitrarily choose a percentage and call it the number of hidden people. For all you know, the number is closer to 80-90%

Seeing as how it's a double XP AND reactivation weekend, I'm going to stay off the servers.

Quote:This.I only check badges if they're acting weird or incompetent, generally.
And also this. Between my husband and I, we have accounts at 6, 15, 24, 33, 36 and 39 months. Veteran badges just don't mean anything on their own. It's the competency of the player that matters. I look at bios more than badges. -
Quote:That's what I meant by we can't answer the question. It doesn't specifically mention anything about how Recluse looks at Paragon City, or how he would feel about a squad of Arachnos agents going over there and beating people to a pulp. We can only assume.Read the entire section on that webpage. The Organization of Arachnos section has pretty specific references to how it all relates to life in the Rogue Isles. It's a matter of context, and the context of the section makes it pretty clear it's all about the Isles.
Quote:If I knew an easy way to get ahold of the Devs like Manti, I sure would. -
I didn't see anything in there saying that. I guess in this case we really can't answer this question. I still suggest the Canon Fodder thread for clarification on behaviors.
-
From Know Your Adversary:
Quote:It sounds to me like your team definitely crossed the line, and would have swift retribution, far greater than simply getting "chewed out".While these Arachnos agents will ignore minor infractions, major crimes draw immediate action. In the eyes of Lord Recluse, anyone reckless enough to commit murder, grand larceny, or acts of mass destruction is either uncontrollable or powerful enough that he wants to control them directly.
Woe to the Arachnos agent that crosses the line far enough to bring the dreaded Arachnos Arbiters into the matter.
Have you looked over the Canon Fodder thread? Maybe thought about getting some clarification from Manti?
