If you have to log in two different times to the plaync page and there's only one account on each, then you have two master accounts.
I suggest talking to support about the possibility of combining the accounts under one master. Not saying it'll fly, but it's worth a shot.
For other folks wanting to get a second (or more) accounts, make sure you choose the "use a serial code" option. -

As far as I'm concerned, the SG leader should know everyone who is in their SG. They don't have to know them well or be buddy-buddy, but they should at least have a clue who is being recruited in.
Now, onto the current topic. I'd say yes, wait until after reactivation weekend. If someone stopped playing because of money issues, they may resurface at a free weekend. At that time, OP, you might be able to find out what's going on with the SG. The leader might never come back though, and personally I think six months of inactivity is more than enough to go ahead and start making changes on your own. If you're concerned, make it so that no one else has access to the base edits other than you (as super-leader rank). -
Judicious use of the noXP option will allow you to see all the content except for the secondary starter contacts (never tried these in Oroborous so I don't know if they're there). I was able to do this with my MM, and it was amazing. There are definitely some arcs out there that you will never forget.

just keep in mind that player notes are GLOBAL, so if you are going to do this on more than one toon, it would be beneficial to name the note with your toon name as well so that you don't end up opening the AVs for the wrong character.
Something like:
/playernote AVMaster-Blade
/playernote AVTealTabby
/playernote AVRobinRogue
Then you can even bind that note to a key to open it any time it's pressed.
If you wanted to, you can even create notes like:
/playernote SalvageMaster-Blade
/playernote SalvageTealTabby
/playernote SalvageRobinRogue
And because they are global, you can access those notes from your other characters just by typing the command, and you can see what your other characters have in their inventory or vault (as long as you keep it updated). -

Sort of related to this - wouldn't it be a good idea if they added a kind of notebook/log in game, that you could write notes or reminders or anything else in?
It could be a window that you bring up with, say, the "J" key, and you could add tabs in it like the chat window, so you could sort your notes into different catagories. -

I noticed that CoT ghosts don't just vanish or flee through the walls anymore when brought to low hp. You can actually chase them down and finish them when they flee.
