After seeing all the threads with all the art that Shia does for us, the CoX community, including art that I've gotten from him myself, I was inspired to do a pic for him. I hoped to capture just a little of his fanciful and slightly risque' nature. So when I finally found out that Shia is a Spines Scrapper... well. In this case one plus one made Winvincible.

It definitely lost something in the second version. I prefer the first version with less blinding yellow pants. Try a light tan brown for a leather pant look. Like an old adventure serial hero. And use the uncovered head instead, the hood is what's really making the first outfit not work.

So a combo of the two, basically.

Actually, it's because for some odd reason, JK has some empty white space in his smaller avatar version. If you select it you'll notice it's 160x132. I guess I'll go and resize it for him.

That's really bizarre. I sized the avatar version in a square so that it'd fit correctly in the pic window. Why did it turn out a rectangle? o.O

Either one you want, really. Mel hates pretty much every human alive. She'd gladly team up with anyone, if it helped her towards her goals, but in the end she'd inevitably turn on them. She's a little less plotting supervillain and more a vicious force of nature. She just wants to hurt people.

You have yourself a personal character. Most artists I know have one. It's a generic model with a personality, who you enjoy drawing and is the default for pretty much everything you do.

Melanie is mine. She has avatars in CoH and CoV both, but she's just a character that I enjoy drawing a lot.

You're not weird, it's standard artist behavior.
