I picked the topic in jest, but Wassy decided to run with it. No friend of Shia's had any choice in the matter.

I'm a friend of Shia's and I don't always pick him first. I pick whatever I feel like is worthy.

CR didn't have to agree to the finale. If he doesn't show, that's fine. Bayani gave him an incentive to compete, but it's his choice if he wants to or not.

You should ask Shia directly if he got a PM from CR in the first place. Assuming anything is an ignorant move.

While there's plenty of drama to be had around here, the idea that there's a conspiracy to do him in is laughable. Shia's rarely around these parts and if he has more popularity in the contests, then... perhaps it's because people like his art better? And... if I'm not mistaken, that's what an art contest is about, right? Art?

If CR has any kind of negative backlash against him, perhaps it's the notion that once Wassy declared him the winner, he stubbornly stuck with it and has refused to acknowledge that she has now ruled otherwise. I would be angry too, I doubt anyone blames him for being so. But now he refuses to play along and has gone silent. That makes a bad case for him, which people may react to. If anything, it's his own doing. If he really wants to be the FArt champion for 2010, then he needs to suck it down and step up. Otherwise, it's going into the books that he forfeit.

Oh man, this just gets better and better. :3 I wonder how long we can milk this debacle.

Squeezing sixteen people into a single picture doesn't make for a very good composition, IMO. Even a really talented artist would have a hell of a time making that look good. I guess this is a case of quantity over quality.

The I like the first outfit's colors, because rarely do people use combinations like that. Though the belt bothers me, because it's not a color reflected in the rest of her outfit and it doesn't flow smoothly into the rest of it, so it's just kinda floating there. A change in color or a change in belt would work better.

I should be there to join this week. Amazing, but I escaped the chains of WoW for today!

I think this is going in the opposite direction. If you have an even more cutthroat competition and a prize with monetary value at the end, then take the current FArt dramah and magnify it by a large factor. If people are willing to get catty over something that means nothing, just imagine what it'll be like when it's a fight over cash.

This year's contest is ruled as a No-Contest, but since Sept's theme is ribbons, then I declare myself the winnar. Always bet on Suichiro.
