Nice. Aside from some proportion issues and the cubix crotch, you have good work. It obvious that you put effort into your line work, since there's a good amount of varied line weight in your work.
Though I'd have mentioned that you didn't do the color work on the piece. I thought you did, until I saw different on your DA. -
I very much prefer this softer style of face to the more aggressive girls you do. It's really a quite nice compliment to the wonderful body shapes going on.

She's mine, Gamma. But I wholeheartedly encourage you to dress in the same. :3

We'll miss you BAS. Good luck on your future endeavors.

I need Melanie in ribbon. LOTS of ribbon. And maybe a gift tag to top it off.
BTW, nice pic Turkey! -
Faeries for the MF win. They're magically delicious.

Hey, half the people on the forums seem to think I'm a female, so that's already a good 50% base to work off of.

Why is it that I missed you at the M&G? I am still kicking myself for not actively searching for Virtue peeps! Grr

Because I look nothing like what people would expect. That and nobody came around to the Vurchoo table during the Q&A session. That's the best place to have met Virtuites.
But that's an unrelated topic. Back to the "Santa knows where all the bad girls live" channel. >:3 -
Woohoo! Giving me attention only makes me stronger!

Bring on the super powered hotties dressed as prese...
..oh wait. Wrong forum! -
HOLY MOTHER OF GODWIN.
Suichiro approves.
Edit: [#@!%$*&] Why must I be broke this month? Why?!? -
I still find it much too dark, but at least the colors are balanced more effectively now.
This is a good example thread on how the choice of color can effect the overall look of your outfit. -
Maybe *you* don't do art for art's sake, but I do. It burns in my soul until I can't stand it any longer and erupts through my hands onto the page. Regardless of what form it takes, it cries out to have a life of it's own. Everyone has a different method and reason for doing art.
OP obviously has issues with needing an audience, so I suggest to him that he finds one. DA is a good place to start, but the site is so huge that it's hard to find any intimacy there. Instead, I'd find a forum like this one to nest into. Connecting with people on a more personal level is likely what you're craving.
In the end though, it's really up to you to keep on going. The way the world works is quite upsetting and people are inherently nasty. If you rely solely on others for support, you may as well stop right now. The need to create has to come from inside and burn with desire to be born through your hands. It's nice to have an audience to share your art with, but they cannot be the sole reason you do it, nor can they be the sole measure of it's worth.
Find out why you enjoy doing art and focus on that. Every artist goes through their own trials at some point. How far they make it past them is the measure of their spirit. -
This pattern is much nicer than the previous pattern, but since you've changed colors around the emphasis is now on the legs instead of the trunk where you want it. I actually quite like the iron look of the armor, but if you want it to stand out, the armor has to have a relatively more bold color than the legs do. A dull color for the legs is better in this case, with a more vibrant color on the armor.
You're still having an issue with the black being to saturate for the outfit though. It's competing for attention with the armor, especially so on this version. -
Get rid of the current leg pattern entirely. It's disjointed and really takes away from the look you have going already. In fact, a basic blend would probably be better here. If you still want to keep the pattern, then I suggest making the two colors no more than two click saturations away from each other. Preferably on the right right side, where the dull colors are.
Also, lighten up on the black. Make it a notch lighter so it doesn't compete with the saturate blue. Right now, the lower half is competing with the upper half for attention and that's what's killing an otherwise good idea. -
....
You should already know the response. -
Apparently we didn't know just *how much* she liked snakes. >.>
Sh-sh-sh-shia combo! -
DB is our own little Drama Princess. That's why we all love her so. She keeps the rest of Vurchoo in check. :3

Good lord almighty but that's a wondrous piece. Thank you for sharing it with us.

No, nothing really to tell. Everyone was pretty shy at the table. My friend and I were pretty easily the noisiest of the bunch.
-
Haha! You still have no proof as to what I look like. This was all planned from the very beginning... yes...
I was hanging out with my RL friend that brought me to the event for the most part and nobody took pics at the Virtue specific table during the Q&A session. -
It looks like I'll be going as well. You can all hate me in person now! :3

Start stabbing, this is probabely one of the other two. It was created by the same people, Aral & Coffy.
Dies Irae

No, actually the other two are Hype Won and The Revenge of Doctor Mechanico! I like Dies Irae alright, but it's too simple for my tastes. It's more a tech demo than a story itself. Unlike the newest one which has a very well crafted tale to tell. These other videos aren't as technically sound, but they have heart and good dialog and voice acting. All part of making good machinima.
