Lol I found them funny too

This doesnt show how Arena PvP goes in any kinda of way.
[/ QUOTE ]
You sure? Last time I saw there was a lot of glowy things around called attacks...
[/ QUOTE ]
Not really a fight if its just one person hitting the other.
[/ QUOTE ]
Isn't that what a fight is?
[/ QUOTE ]
No, both people have to 'attempt' to hit each other. Not just one person hitting the other. -

With a bit of thought, someone could make a funny video of all the noobish sayings. Raid the PvP threads, full of funny material for making into vids lol.

I know pfffff, ive written what all my powers do, you dont expect me to know what each power in game do right?
[/ QUOTE ]I'd expect any good player to do so.
[/ QUOTE ]
If you know all the commands you don't really need to remember, just type in the name of the power in brackets, then read the description lol. -
I'll have to view it tonight when i'm at home. Just so i know why it gets the current response lol.

For those not on Test, Psydock won with his Ice/EM tank (Issue 5 build) and is now showing Sir Cevantes his Illusion/Empath Controller and that he can't be defeated (going for a draw).
Edit: Then I had a go, I won. -
I wish i'd been there, damn TV entertaining me.
Oh and almost killing/defeating someone doesn't count. Not a very good argument. What happened on Test was predictable. -
Everyone knows your build when you log into the game and there is a handy shop in Pocket D so you can buy insp right there.

Oh and fights will have no insps.

Shhh its to reflect the inbalances in not using insp for PvP. -

*votes for a defiant v union test server arena match*
EDIT: WITH inspirations
[/ QUOTE ]
nah its cool we did one ages ago and we beat you guys pretty bad there's no need to do it again
[/ QUOTE ]
When was this :P?
By the way have you set up test yet crystal?
[/ QUOTE ]
I remember this, no one turned up the first time and the second time it was a rag tag bunch of Union players that didn't team very well (not the usual PvP crowd). -
With regards to the Empath/Scrapper thing, either send in a suicidal 'to be droned' sonic/sonic and cage the empath. Or if the Empath is parked too far in the base, just cage the Scrapper.
Could teleport him right back out too. -
Fighting without insp is like not being lucky, enraged, breaking free etc. in a real fight. Its like not being able to adapt to certain conditions which in the real world means your going to die.
-
I'll come and watch if your on a defender. Has ToHit been capped yet?
-
Your level 24 with SOs, the odds are already heavily stacked against you.
-
You'd need different rankings for level, zone, role in PvP, team size and then combinations of all the different catergories. Bit pointless really as player skill does come into it too. You can't have a team of all the same AT as you won't win. Some defenders do more damage, others are better at surviving and you really can't put them all in the same catergory.
-
The problem with a complete revamp or major changes is that it takes a lot of work to do and you have to be certain it works. Peoples opinions differ on whether the current game needs it or not too. I'm quite happy with minor tweaks every so often because they are moving things in the right direction.

Good matches and then some good Zone PvP in Warburg and RV.

Buffers are the easiest to play
[/ QUOTE ]
I disagree, playing a buffer means you are running around with a bif "kill me first" sign on you and thats not what a new player needs.
The op should roll a stalker with stealth and a stealth IO so he can both indulge in pvp and observe
[/ QUOTE ]
Fair enough, I always find a buffer easier to play, never tried stalkers though. Melee toons just seem like they chase more than actually do anything. -
Buffers are the easiest to play, especially if you have a good team. Just need to make sure your travel power is fast and you can escape/chase easily.
Read the posts in this bit of the forum too, there are some funny ones with regards to PvP and the attitude of some players. Gives a bit of an idea of the general opinion of certain actions you might find in PvP zones. -
Always having an answer isn't usually a good thing. It would be better to keep a low profile and not reply to these threads as you are just opening yourself upto more abuse and making yourself look worse.
-
Lol, I love the fact you can name and shame yourself on these boards.

Confuse purples are going to jump in price lol.

So why didn't you stand next to a drone in the hospital? Or is it only the heroes hospital that has them?

TA played with knockback is more annoying than when played with pets.
