The amount of lives people have had has been wrong for ages. I posted last time this came up that I had two lives left instead of one and then I lost another match and i'm no longer in it.


Week 4 Results Where I have 2 lives, round 5 I lost a life.

There are ways of doing things and from what this thread shows is that asking people to sign upto a forum (so they can then sign upto an event), no matter how innocent it is, generally creates alot of suspicion and unwillingness to sign up.

Threads asking for people to sign up on these forums to an event is easier (so long as the date, any rules and meeting location are included). Even if people sign up to these forums to join, they are more likely to post again here than on the MoX forums. Past event threads usually have a few new posters, I had my first post in a Hamidon Raid thread. If you want the information from here in your forums, cut and paste it.
Also Bridger can create a news item on the main page and link it to the signup thread.

I've just got the badge mission too, ready to do it any time. I'm online now.

I should have this contact soon, just started in St Martial and I'm only level 31. I'll keep an eye out for Hard Case and message you if I get him.

I don't think there is anyone that dominates these boards, except maybe Bridger.

Its also publicity for the SG. Once your on their forums you could take a look around... see if you like the place, maybe join them.

I did that with my Bios at Christmas for the same reason - graphics card went strange. Turned out it needed a bit of a clean, but too late i'd flashed the Bios and it hung.

In the end I got a new computer.

I quite like this idea, being stuck with annoying people might put off the best players though. Who ever organises it would have to be totally impartial too. Random Pentad teams decided with everyone at the team selection process.
Rock, Paper, Scissors to decide who teams together.

It would take absolutley forever for a defender to get 10 kills. No point fighting Tanks or Scrappers.

Doesn't matter, No Travel Powers doesn't actually stop them from being switched on, it just moves the speed/flight/jump caps really low. Speed Boost, Siphon Speed and Inertial Reduction are affected as well.

In S4 there was a tactical start rule. Everyones endurance started at 0. Any thoughts about how it would affect 1 on 1?
Regen scrappers would probably benefit most from it.

Another rule is no travel powers.
This would benefit Kinetic defenders/controllers with Inertial Reduction. (Its not a travel power)

Can't think of any other rules that Arena can enforce atm.

I was fighting a MM in Bloody Bay the other day. Cheated and used Repel to send his pets into a group of Longbow. The MM flew out of range though lol. So I just left him.

The Circle of Tarot is not in the game, no idea who they are but their prestige hasn't changed ever. Violators are the number 1 Villain group in terms of Prestige. So yep MoX is the Biggest Super group in terms of Prestige.

If you turned up for a Monday night, that is preset groups of PvPers that have tactics and generally set teams and are the more serious PvPers. Although they do mix and match in their own little groups.

Wednesday night its purely enter the match on your own accord. I've seen level 30s - 50s and there isn't any rules saying no one else can join. I don't know where your getting your xp lol, the Wednesday night thing is on Union btw.

Most people get to level 50 and then PvP because they will be fully slotted with SOs and have a 'final' build. What exactly were you expecting from these 'events'?
Most of the time on Wednesdays its turn up, join the match and get put into a team in a way that seems fair. (Sometimes it does turn out one sided however). Most matches last 10 minutes and then the teams are rearranged, people swap characters and another match starts.

3vP has been interesting so far, being able to team with or against people you wouldn't otherwise have met or had a match with.
