Finally managed to defeat him, altho 2 of the team switched to Rads. Got him to half health before he started killing people. Then we switched. Went down pretty quick after that.
I think his self heal is mainly what keeps him alive so long lol.

Just about to fight Nosferatu on Invincible. I'm level 44. the rest of the 8 man team is 42-44. I'll let you know how it goes.

Haven't reached him yet. Just half way through the mission.

When ever i've had a thousand points and the opposition won the zone, i've got the temp power. Also wasn't there a recent post somewhere stating both sides get the temp power when the zone resets. Maybe you just had less than 1000. I think its possible for temporal points to go down, but i've never investigated this.

The pet temp power from RV is great. Also after winning the zone any enemies you take out results in large amounts of inf and Prestige. When there are alot of ppl in the zone its very easy and fast inf/prestige depending on sg mode, capturing all the pillboxes is advantageous.

Badge hunters, experience hoarders, duellers etc all seem to think it is okay that they go into the zones, but expect everyone else to play around them.

Its not a recent phenomenom, theres always been people after badges/xp, just its more obvious due to the threads about it on the forums atm.

Yep before it was even released. I like PvP the way it is, just add new powersets that aren't rubbish or too over powered.

I have no toons on Defiant. I wouldn't mind seeing why you call Defiant the PvP server though. I always thought Union had a pretty strong PvP following. Altho i'm just going on the fact that there is always people in at least one of the PvP zones. I'm not sure how many PvP SGs there are because they mostly stick to the zones and i've never seen them advertise.

Is this Union or Defiant?

Sonic/Sonic stacks and for extra kick bring a Kinetic for the +Dmg and +speed to go with your -res.

You Cheat, you heal, you use insp, you drain my end!
I've been in RV after 11pm tonight and Monday night and a villain who shall remain nameless appears after a certain time. He's a regen stalker and seems to only team with other Stalkers or Brutes. I've been teaming with members of my SG and Monday had a team of 5 and we were doing the PvE elements with the 3 heavies and generally had the run of the zone. Defeated pillboxes AVs and the odd tarantula. Villains show up so we switch to hunting them.
The villains don't half whine when 5 heroes come down on them lol, even though they are there for the same reasons as my team... PvP. Things get a bit heated over broadcast with the stalker claiming various things about how good he is.

Then tonight, I enter the zone, there are a few other heroes and villains about, so my team of 4 AoW get our heavies and start doing the Pillboxes, fighting stalkers etc. then the villain from Monday night turns up. Doesn't leave the zone when he sees its us, but gives some good PvP until he starts whining over broadcast about how he is slowed by Ice and Siphon speed. Then he's whining about how many heroes there are (even though there are a few villains in the zone). He comes close to killing me a few times, but I manage to heal myself. Then he starts demanding 1 on 1. So the Fire tank from my team steps up. Its a draw as neither side can defeat the other, and the fire tank got bored . So I ask for a 1 on 1. The stalker doesn't answer. After a minute of standing looking at each other I decide to start. When I fully drain his endurance and he runs around abit, he starts shouting over broadcast about how he isn't ready (MoG isn't up).

So I lay off, and go back to standing around. One of my team mates comes and stands next to me with a heavy.
Not long after the villain lands next to me and strikes the AS pose. I see him and have transfusion ready. I get hit and immediatly heal. The Heavy then opens fire on the stalker lol. The stalker immediataly follows up with another attack and then runs.

Then whines over broadcast.

So I dare him to try it again, ask my friend to move away and I stand ready. The stalker only goes and AS's my team mate after holding him with the unbreakable hold from the Ghost Widow Patron Power set.

I stay where i am and wait for the Stalker. He shows up, AS and I heal. We fight for about 2 minutes and I have the upperhand. I have also been using insp through out the fight. So when he's about to die (I think MoG dropped) he shouts cheater over broadcast and flies as high as possible. I follow with Jump Pack (gotta love the GvE temp power) and use Power Build Up and Aim, plus the odd Rage. One shot and he dies. 6 rep points to me.

Much whining ensues I just laugh.
The usual 'You are noob, you used insp' plus everything else, everyone here has heard before.



Rant over, just had to put that down somewhere lol.

I might run it again before i go past the max level required for it. Level 38 atm, 42 being max level.
I want to do the Cavern of Transcendance and the Eden trial as well though.

Looks like your in Amazing Shnyet. I don't mind which toon you bring. I already have a TA defender so the stacked debuffs could be good, but the Kheldian would be better at getting rid of the Rikti.

[/ QUOTE ] My character is in Steel atm because i have the route mapped out to the entrance. The trial is timed and takes 90 minutes. So it depends on how fast we get to the entrance. I think we'll be finished before 10pm.

I think what takes the longest on union is getting started. The last raid i went to, it seemed to take ages to get everyone organised and the PA drop team was just about the last to enter the Hive.

Full team atm but if there are any drop outs you'll be the first to receive an invite.

Looks like a good team Blazing Ice has already cleared the 150 Rikti for me so we just need to meet at the trial entrance.

Just noticed i put Na'tooth as energy.. I think he's Ice but i can't edit it now lol.

The minimum level is supposed to be 38 and the max is 42. Due to reasons unknown however this is the only trial which doesn't exemplar automatically. Anyone under 38 can join, with only the level limit on entering the abandoned sewers stopping the under 36s from doing it. To be able to get the temp powers needed to complete the trial you need to be in the 38-42 level range. So i will exemplar people while they get a temp. The temp power stays even after you unexemplar. Iirc it only disappears when you log off or use it up.

Anyone interested in doing the Sewer trial on Wednesday at 8pm GMT?

Blazing Ice - Ice Tank - lvl 50
Divine Eros - Empath Defender - lvl 50
Na'Tooth - Energy Blaster - Lvl 48

Doing it mainly for the experience and badge. I know how to complete it with just one level 38 so anyone who wants to can join up.

Anything that does 2 types of damage (and can do enough damage) is going to one shot you afaik.

I think quite alot of people didn't know this event was on. I suggest emailing bridger and getting him to put a news item up about it next time.

Things only got going after the first half an hour and then seemed to die down about an hour after that. Most Heroes had were 2 full teams. Its difficult to say how many the villains had but I got jumped on by 6 or more villains a few times.

Haven't checked my reputation but I was getting between 3 and 6 for each kill my team got and at one point there was just a list of people we'd defeated.
