Best counter for cage is defence or use phase shift before they can cage you. Empath and Sonic combo worked really well because defence and accuracy is boosted making the cager difficult to cage and hard to avoid. Rescuer was very difficult to catch or slow and healed almost instantly. I disrupted the caging by using dimension shift and cage but couldn't keep it up as i didn't have the accuracy. AoW fought Duo in the first match.

Psydock was illusion/empath and BitterIce was closest to Blaster and empath. I wonder what would happen if there were no empaths, would Duo still be as effective

I have two sonics with sonic cage and I've gone off the power lol. 30 to 60 minutes is too long for a PvP match, especially when people are waiting around and the match isn't very interesting (5 to 10 kills, one player stood around doing nothing).

Big thanks to Syn2 and Coldfront for providing my most interesting match of the night.
Lasted no longer than 20 minutes and the final score was 10-9 to The Children of Arioch.

Higher levels and more bosses start appearing when there are more heroes and villains in the zone.

I'd hardly say people jumped at it lol. Should be better next Thursday though.

I don't think farming Dreck and Pillboxes in RV are quite the same. There are no lowbies for a start, not to mention RV is alot more hazardous.

Sounds like everyone just needs to turn up at the same time and earlier than 10pm lol. I went and watched Skins so missed more people arriving.

Heroes were never organised enough to be a threat in the first hour, I came back on a different toon about 9:30pm when you were there, but villains outnumbered heroes at that point. Still not enough to make a full team on either side though and Pillboxes were all but forgotten.
To make RV fun and interesting there needs to be around 2 teams on each side.

Not enough people in RV on Union tonight. Felt like me vs 3 villains most of time. I stayed about an hour lol. Heroes did out number the villains but were too spread out and were more after pill boxes.

Am I right in thinking that before the Heroes were reduced a level in the Recluse SF they were exactly the same level and stats as the ones in RV?

The AVs only spawn in a trio when you get the pillboxes in a certain order. Its also the only way to spawn Scirroco.

There was no one guarding pillboxes initially as everyone was helping take down the AV. AV hunting just needs to be done so that there are enough people to take down the AV and guard pillboxes and the guards have to be ok with the fact they won't get the badge for it.

In Siren's one side gets wiped and stays in their base to regroup and apply buffs. Then the enemy stand out of range of the drones. Unless there is a big surge or something happens to tip the balance the losing side rarely get out of the base. Warburg operates differently though, the beach just seems convenient. Over all everyone just goes where the action is.

I'd have to agree, Art of War have also taken down the AVs with a team that looked like - ice tank, grav/rad controller, empath defender, kinetic defender and 3 heavies. Best done when the zone is quiet though

I'll be there. You might want to email bridger with the details so he can put a news item on the main website which will attract more players. Bridger gets alot of emails and usually takes a day or two to reply. (or maybe its just me, as i only seem to email him when an issue is about to go live.) Anyway the more time you leave between announcing and having the event the more people will show up. So maybe move it to a week on Thursday?

I like standing on the boat as my sonic defender and watching brutes try to hit me but then realising i'm not that squishy :P

PvP does happen in other parts of Warburg, the beach is just the largest open space on the whole map (thats not on top of a building). I've seen fights and been chased through the rest of the map. Its good when one team tries to stop another get the warburg rockets too. Most people don't go for the nukes when actively PvPing though.

Sounds like your opponents were annoyed that you used them to good effect. Ignore what they say about it being cheating and laugh at them while you get more. There are a few of these threads in the PvP section all coming to the same conclusion. Anything goes so long as it doesn't break the EULA.

People can take offense at anything, whether its offensive or not. I've seen people pick fights over the smallest things just because they are looking for them.

This isn't one of those 'mine is bigger than yours' arguments is it? What you do with it counts too
