If I get attacked by something I know I can't beat, i'll definatly run no matter where I am. Some people just have different levels of confidence and will run from different degrees of danger.

I think RV is good as it is, more players in the zone with the intention of PvP would make it better, the beta for RV was good. Map and mode selection would make the Arena better, having modes like CTF, VIP and a hostage situation like Counter Strike.

Too much sex on some peoples minds, its affecting judgement.

I've got a TA/A and its a bit hard to solo. My Sonic/Sonic does fine though, so If I was you i'd make a TA/Sonic lol.
-
I have the psy epic on my sonic/sonic for the hold and psy resistance. Which stacks nicely with the psy resistance from impervium IO sets. Telekinesis is also good if you can get your end recovery high. You can stop quite a few from fighting back with the stun, hold and sleep.

After last nights battles in the Arena with Vigilance, I want more PvP! Is there anything happening tonight? Preferably Arena, but i can settle for Warburg. I need to start going to the Test server on Monday nights again. I just need to decide which character i want to use.
-
The style of play depends on where the PvP is and who your fighting with and alongside. Warburg is the most hectic as there are usually more enemies even if they aren't all on the same side. The main battles are on the beach but every so often there is a skirmish further in. Sirens Call is big and people usually stand in a group buffing or spread out looking for the enemy. Recluse's Victory has the most variation between solo and group as there are so many objectives and dangers. The arena is completly different and the team really needs to work together if its going to win there. Smaller maps, less places to hide, different spawn rules, no safe areas and its more hectic.
-
I enjoyed the battle last night, but i think i forgot just how hectic SG matches can be. Vigilance had a solid group and I probably spent too much time sending in fear and phantoms rather than buffing.
-
On Union last night there was at least one of each villain AT in the zone and a mix of heroes. I did notice that the scrappers were mostly spines. It was good fun with neither side out right winning.
-
Oops i missed that, i hope everyone is aware of the time this starts. Would be bad if people stood around doing nothing, waiting for one or two.

/e waves at bandwagon as it rolls past, towards an abyss... -
I'm glad they reduced the amount of players needed and put a cap on it, but the tactics and organisation required is abit much for casual players. At the moment the reason why Hami raids take so long is because they take ages to get setup and rolling, plus multiple restarts having got no where. Beating up hamidon doesn't take long at all.
-
I thought about doing a Hamidon Raid the other day as i know of a few people that joined the game and reached 50 since the last Hamidon Raid was held. I want to sort out my internet connection before i take on the stress of leading 50 people to certain doom though.
-
I'll join as either a defender or controller. Union

Fights with empaths on both sides usually have low scores and there is no denying that having a good empath is better than being buffed all the time. At least with resistance or defense buffs you can wear them down over time. Against an empath you need large amounts of damage out put all in one go. A team that had buffs and could heal themselves, with possibly better regen thanks to IOs might be able to get away with no empath but then they would need to have invested lots of time and inf. Maybe there should be a villain version of S4. I'll join anything.
-
I put 5 Ghost Widow IO's in ice arrow and one from Pace of the turtle for the slow component. Then even if they aren't held they are still slowed. Extra accuracy helps too.
-
What are you thinking of choosing as a primary?
I have a gravity/sonic and I can do more damage than a FF. Forcefields have more knockback and a panic button in Personal Forcefield. Both reduce damage taken in different ways. Sonic increases team Resistance and Forcefield increases Defence.
