You two should get a room.

    He's a barbarian - he lives in a castle - I wouldn't trust staying there

    [/ QUOTE ]

Take him back to your fortress then.
  2. Less than an hour to go
  3. You seem well suited to each other.

Dont forget alot of ganking also happens cause one side might not like to team up.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Apart from the solo players not teaming being ganked, sometimes the solo players go for the same enemy player and gank unintentionally.
  5. I'm sorry but new Health and Safety regulations state you can't have an open flame.
  6. Still gives off light though doesn't it.

    /e holdflashlight
  8. 1:/ Would you object to a entrance fee? that you would later have chance to win at the end along with others entrance fee? A way of guarantying that people that register will show up?

I wouldn't object so long as everyone had a chance of winning it.

2:/What time and nights are you on most?

Most nights after 7pm, more at weekends.

3:/Would you mind the event going on for a few weeks?

    No

    4:/Union or Test?

    Either
  9. I think its true to some extent that a bad build is bad no matter what, and a good build will be better in the same hands. However I also think that a bad build can be good in the right hands, surpassing a good build in bad hands.

There are certain ways of spotting a good player, such as effective use of powers, constantly moving, keeping buffs up, working as a team, co-ordinating attacks (ganking) and knowing when to run and hide.
  10. The only thing that puts me off PvP is uneven teams. Hopefully a lot of non PvPers do join in as the more the better. I'd still split up the experienced PvPers as well as sorting them by AT as a team that knows what its doing is more dangerous than certain combinations of AT. Blaster/Empath teams are always lethal.
  11. Dominators should probably be in B or C.

A nice idea.. but hard to work with. How would you class "skill". I can say I'm an average PvPer, but others may say I'm better/worse than average. Same with powersets, do you base it per character and how? or do you base it on teams? For instance a FF/ defender might not be much of a threat solo, but all changes when in a team.

It's a nice concept I do admit, but I think its too hard to effectively work with. Plus the thing you might get is that the experienced people in team A will aim for the inexperienced people in team B. Which, again, differs on what role that certain player is fulfilling in a team. For example an experienced blaster in team A, can easily gun for inexperienced empath in team B with little threat.

Indeed, grading could get complicated and some people might not like being graded or at least having their grades displayed.

If I was to grade myself on my main character Enervator:

Intelligence: High '10' (How well you play this character)
    Strength: Low '3' (Damage Output)
    Speed: High '8' (Manouverability)
    Durability: Low '2'(Resistance/Defence)
    Energy Projection: High '9'(Buffs/Debuffs)
Fighting Skills: Low Solo '3', High in Teams '9' (Fight solo or in teams)

If I was going to grade Transonic, I'd put his durability at medium and raise his strength.

If I was going to grade a stone tank i'd say his speed was low and his durability was very high.

You could give each category a number from 1 to 10 and then add up the numbers for a Total. e.g. 44 out of 70
  13. How about grading players interested based on their skill, Enhancements and character AT powers.

Then split everyone up into teams based on that. Then the experienced players will have to help the inexperienced who are on their team if they want to win. The inexperienced improve and the experienced get more PvP. Of course the fast learners and better trainers have the advantage.
  14. Oh great, now we have the walking dead being creative.

I did 2 shot him a few times. Shouldn't really get close while i'm building fury on a Granite Tank though lol.
  16. To be honest i haven't seen much name calling or bickering recently. Most of the stuff that goes on in broadcast are requests for duels or more players to switch. I even know two players that quite like each other now that they have teamed outside of PvP.
  17. Ganking only happens when there is one side larger than the other. People will obviously get annoyed if they don't stand a chance and they won't know anything about teaming. I don't think anyone is to blame for the current situation, but it isn't helped by groups of experienced players picking off inexperienced players. The experienced players need to team with the inexperienced. Obtaining a balance will always be difficult but it can be obtained if there are a lot of players on both sides. Which is why organised events are so good. Singling someone out just because they think its funny to imitate certain players won't help.

    RV 21st Battles

Just wanted to post and say it was good fun last night in Recluses Victory. At one point the battles were flowing nicely and there was no drivel on Broadcast, no farmers and some good team work. I seem to be only able to PvP on my brute when buffed by a cold corruptor.

Lol you actually expect people to show up if I hold it?

Do you expect people to show up if they know your in it?
