  1. I'm going to second the comment about going with what playstyle works for you, but I'll tell you what I picked on my permadom Plant/Fire/Fire. Just by glancing at your build, I'm guessing you're permadom as well.

Alpha: Cardiac. Why? You're fire with plenty of attacks to cycle through, which typically has higher endo usage. Even with permadom that endo bar can drop. (Been there, done that, have the t-shirt here). Cardiac lessens that significantly, and the range boost doesn't hurt either.

Judgement: I went Pyronic to be thematic. Unless you're spending all your time in melee range, then Void isn't for you.

Lore: Any pet would work here. I decided to go Seers, but that was also before the announcement of Lore pet additions.

Destiny: Either Barrier or Ageless would work IMO. I went barrier on my dom.

Interface: Any one would work here - Reactive isn't as appealing as it used to be for fire.

Nevermind, I was getting my terms confuzzled. Bustier = corset top = chest detail. For some reason I was thinking bustier = belt. My bad.

EDIT: And sorry if I seem to have an attitude. 1) Migraine, 2) I just wanted to find the damn layered skirt! Wouldn't you think it would have been under "Skirts?"
I think they mean "layered half skirt" as the half skirt I showed you on my Carnie-esque outfit the other day. If so, that's under belts, towards the bottom of the list. Same with the belt with lace butt accessory. The list of parts on the store page doesn't differentiate from male/female parts, and isn't how they're labeled ingame.

I got the new costume pack... and I can't seem to find most of the new pieces. I tried to make a super cool costume and ended up with a bustier, striped tights, and cool boots.

    Clearly, I'm missing something.

They're in some odd places for starters, so no, you're not missing anything other than a roadmap that they should have given us *chuckles*

Here's what I remember off the top of my head from dorking around over the weekend:

The "jacket/neck piece" is under jackets -> Steampunk/Victorian. Don't bother looking under "sleeveless jackets", there is no option for those...yet (I hope) The sleeves are also named Steampunk/Victorian partthingiesomethingorother.

The cameo brooch IIRC is only found as a jacket detail.

The corset tops are under Chest Detail, the bustiers are belts. If you're going for a sleeveless corset/top to go under said corset with minimal underpiece showing, Disco (IIRC, I'd have to check my gals when I get home) is a good choice.

The long split skirt should be under skirts (I don't remember the exact location off the top of my head), while it looks like a skirt, for movement purposes, it functions like pants (which admittedly is a smart move on their part)
  7. There is no "Sleeveless Jacket" option for female Steampunk/Victorian jackets. I'm not sure if this WAI or is a bug, but it certainly feels like a bug to me.

I'm pondering an idea, but an exact date would help. PM me with more specifics if you don't want to post em here.
  9. Sadly, this is extremely vague and is not giving me incentive to want to help out - posting specific details would be helpful here, especially if people are going to participate. Okay, you're planning something that's a Big Mystery, that's all I'm getting out of this. Rumours? Haven't heard any. Know? Nope, don't know anything about this.

Until more specifics are posted, I'll just watch to see what happens.
  10. I mentioned it elsewhere, but Happy Birfday!

We'll have more updates later on today.
Then maybe having the event extend ALL day/evening would be a better "stress test" than 3 hours in an extremely inconvenient window of time. People will come and go, people will show up to stress test if you ask them, people can stress test when they get home from work, or before work. Linking a one time badge to a stress test that is three hours long is, and has been communicated that it is A. Very. Bad. Idea.

Let me be frank and tell you, 4pm-7pm on the West Coast is a poor time frame to stress test. On a Friday. Honestly? By the time I get home from work at 5:30-6pm on a typical weekday and then having to wait in a queue for a badge that I am not guaranteed because of a queue and poor timing? Is an extremely stupid idea for an event. Theoretically, with this current schedule, (and I'm not the only one in this situation) I would have to camp a toon all day while I'm at work just for a badge. And hope that the server doesn't crash. I can name at least a dozen friends/family, some with multiple accounts, that would be doing the same exact thing. How is this fair to anyone? Especially when everyone would be rolling new toons on a foreign server just for the sake of this "event"?? How is this camping fair to those that normally play on Freedom? It isn't either.

I really hope you've anticipated the load of your entire active serverbase in this window, and I really hope you rethink the idea of introducing a badge that's limited to ONE server in a THREE hour window. Otherwise, this will be the stupidest thing to have happened in seven years of playing this game. There have been some doozies, but this one takes the cake.

Maybe if they get enough reports on the items, they'll be forced to take them down or suspend that seller. I also reported a few pieces, I just wish there was more room in the comment section than barely more space than the link info.

Thanks to I20, I'm going to have the song "Come out and Play" and it's local parody song forever stuck in my head because whenever I think of that badge name, bam, the song instantly roots itself into my head.

The Protector crash was, I believe, unrelated to the Incarnate Trials.

Unfortunately, the Protector crash happened immediately as we got the Mission Complete on the BAF. All reward tables were lost, and there was a rollback with lost rewards/exp/merits/shards, etc once we could log back in.

It felt too coincidental to not be Trial related.

  19. The elusive, seductive and cruel Honey Badger was caught in a rare photo shoot while she was trying on clothing at Icon. How she made it past security and into Icon has never been discovered, nor has she been caught at Icon to date.

  20. Okay, here's a short and quick origin story that I came up with. I haven't outright said that it's a mutant origin, but I hope it's implied that she's a mutant. I've got (unrelated to this story) costume ideas which will go into a separate post later.

"I was once normal, but what is the true definition of 'normal'? I was a beautiful, athletic young woman with ambitions and dreams. On my 21st birthday, I was lured to the Rogue Isles by its charm and ideals of villainy. It was there I felt a yearning to become powerful. I became ruthless and strong, nothing would stand in my way, not even that loser Recluse. I did have one weakness grow on me while in the Rogue Isles, and that was my weakness for collecting badges. I learned that some were tantalizing and simple to get, others I needed to be cutthroat to merely get close to their acquisition. It was sweet and cruel at the same time. I knew that the badges would help increase my notoriety and solidify the chance to overthrow Recluse.

During this period of personal growth, my body adapted to the changes around me. My skin darkened, hair grew rapidly and lightened. Those changes were minor compared to the tail that was beginning to grow out on my backside.

It was then that I knew that an adopted name would suit me far more in the Rogue Isles than my given name ever would. And thus I became known as Honey Badger."
  21. 1) "Icon's annual Archery Tournament begins with a bang. Who will be this year's winner of the exclusive Super Arrow Launcher Costume Code?"

    2) "How many times do I have to tell you that overconsumption of red lipstick leads to, erm, unfortunate and embarrassing situations with the local fungi? Please think of the fungi, it has feelings too!"

"Badgers + mushrooms = a high probability of inflatable red snaaaaakes if I just add water. *ponders*"

"MY mushroom. Go get your own, you pesky hero!"

    3) "Camoflage. I can haz it."

    4) "You d**n dirty Rikti, turning me into one of you."

"I followed the map, which clearly said 'Left Turn At Albuquerque' and look where it got me. Hmph!"

    5) "Class, today we're going to learn the Twist. Please follow your dance instructor, Teh D4nc3R, who is Paragon City's Twist Champion."

    6) "I think I can, I think I can... reach the sky!"

    "Geronimo!"
