the redside static team I run on sunday nights has lost 2 members due to RL issues.

I would like to get word out to any good player who has a 30+(no exceptions) villain that they want some levels on that they can join us. Sunday nights starting at or around 7pm PDT. That would be 10pm EDT for those on the east coast. Our team is lv45-47 right now and are doing mission arcs in RWZ, GV and will likely start continuing missions in cimerora. Most of the players are casual players and dont Powergame, powerlevel or any of that other crap. They just enjoy the game and want to have fun. I am particularly interested in a brute joining. I am gonna restrict anyone joining from bringing a stalker or MM though. I know that sucks, but thems the rules. But regardless of not getting a brute, any doms or corruptors or VEATs welcome. As it stands the team consists of 1 MM, 1 stalker, 3 corruptors and a dom.

Don't send me a tell in game pls. respond in this thread.

I am planning to buy a new harddrive and I figure that buying windows 7 wouldn't be a bad idea.

however, I want to be absolutely sure there won't be any issues with coh vs windows 7

I know there were tons of issues with vista.

So, any feedback on window 7 and city of?

LOL you sound like you plan to be gone a 'long' time versus the few weeks you mentioned. Same thing happened to me last year. Had to buy a new MB and ram but the rest of the rig worked fine.

I am gonna be host a Dr. Quaterfield TF Sat morning(2/27/2010) forming up around 8am PST/11amEST.

Anyone interested, please respond in this post. I am not looking for anything specific for teammates AT-wise but I will have the tanking covered. This TF is lv40+ and expect 4-8 hours to complete. Maybe quicker, doubtful it will take longer. Flight/TP/Assemble requested. My goal is not to speed run this TF, but to go at steady pace and stealth where possible.

Thanks a bunch of importing/exporting that data. And for the input. That build you suggest looks good but like i said would require several respecs. I do however have most of the IOs already along with an extra lotg +rech. I prefer flight though as a travel power though. In a few weeks I will be getting my 60 month and gonna be eventually respecing out of air superiority anyhow to open another power elsewhere.

When I17 gets released with it's freespec and i have that 60 monther, i will give this another go and see what i can do. If nothing else to preserve the higher priced IOs i can soak the cost of the cheaper sets and buy the other stuff i need.

Gonna be testing that build x8 team this weekend soloing to see how it holds up. then slowly adding +1s to lv of mobs. we will see how that goes.

I really just wanted good comparison. i spent too much inf and time on the current build and am happy enough with it to keep it as is. would require too many respecs to max out the numbers anyway. maybe after next issue i can tweak it a bit. i will likely be 50 by then at anyrate.

I finished the build for my tank a few days ago and have been wondering what other players would think of the defense numbers I was able to come up with.

The tank is still only 47, so I have still can accumulate more defense via the rest of my enhancements. I only have normal IO sets in my build. Purple sets are too expensive and I dont play the high end game enough anymore to be patient enough for em to drop. And pvp IOs are out of the question.

With that said, I would like peoples' opinions on these defense numbers for my shield defense tank.
Ranged 38.82%
Melee 43.19%
AoE 46.63%
S/L is 11%
Fire/cold is 10%
Energy/NE is 8%

I also was able to have regen of 1.42%/sec

So what do yall think? Good numbers?

I also have way too many alts... but my 'main' is my very first hero i made. a tank. i had to check when i saw this thread. Arctic Quasar has 1012 hours on patrol... Which is kinda pathetic compared to the other longtime players. oh well, i am a uncoverable altoholic.

I know I can post this else where, but I am not going to...

Basically, I have a supergroup that is defunct and I am the only member. This supergroup has a base and plenty of prestige to build it up more with all the goodies. But I am not very knowledgeable about bases and I lose patience quickly when I try and use a builder I am unfamiliar with and cannot figure out how to make it work well.

With that said, I am either looking for someone who is willing to help me build the base or someone willing to take over the base building aspect of my supergroup. I don't necessarily need that person to stay when the base is built, but I am certainly not gonna kick anyone out.
