  1. Personally, now that I've had time to reflect on his arguement, I'm thinking that he just chose the wrong word.

Instead of unpredictable...perhaps he actually meant...well, something predictable, but uncertain. Like you know you have a shaky connection, but you hope for the best.

Either way, the way he's arguing isn't exactly playing devils advocate (I play that a lot myself)--it's going "nyah nyah nyah I'm right you're wrong" to a fix that wouldn't hurt anyone or make things any easier. It just removes a chance for failure that cannot be helped, slotted for, or protected against with buffs.

If that's what 9am AZ time translates out to, sure. I don't see MoBarracuda being a problem, though I've never been on a successful MoLRSF, so here's to hoping we have the right team build.

I'll certainly try and make this, but don't save me a spot, I usually don't get up that early and even if I do, my brain doesn't start working for at least an hour after that.
Hehe well, when in doubt, expect me to show up at the mountain time! (those dang Arizonans, not knowing anything about time zones! )

Also, Its okay with me if youre half asleep when you show up, we'll have plenty of time for you to wake up

So I'm adding you to the list!

I could get behind the idea of "buying" NPCs to populate our bases, though; but I would love to see offline characters as NPCs in the base if they're getting some Monitor Duty time in.

Both could be done! Supergroup members could appear if they're on Monitor Duty, and other kinds of NPCs could be "bought" for livening the place up.

I mean, who else is gonna man all those cubicles we can buy?
Ok, that suggestion is pure genius, someone give this guy an internet I would keep my guys logged off at bases all the time just to be able to see them hanging out.

Also, I know of a certain club/disco room in a SG that would greatly benefit from having NPCs chilling and dancing inside. DJ Zero would get jealous of the setup, methinks.

    You're in!

All I know for sure is, I won't be tanking the STF if we decide to do a master run. For some reason I always get insta-killed on LR, and I don't feel like doing that this time around.

    D'oh! *facepalms*

I'll give us time to sleep in, so about 9am (Mountain time) or 10:00am (Central I guess).

And yes, I will be announcing in Protector TF/Vigilance as I'm forming up, assuming I have free spots.
  7. Ah, yes, and one more thing:

If you can only make one, please include which one you'd like to do (if you have any preference) or if you can stay for the whole thing. I imagine it'll be 3-4 hours long, for them all, depending on our slaughtering speed.
  8. Next Saturday (6/18) at 9am (Mountain time), I plan on going on a marathon of level 50 tf's, namely the Lady Grey, Statesman, ITF, and Baracudda. Personally, I'd like to do the Baracudda run as a master, because my badger* still needs that one. Hell, while I'm at it, I also need the MoLRSF, but I won't hold my breath on that one quite yet.

If it makes any difference, we can run these all as masters, I really don't mind one way or another. I just want to unleash some incarnate fueled destruction.

Anyhow, if you're interested, please let me know. So far my roster contains:

-Me (Fire/SS tank for blueside, ill/rad for redside)
    -Layla Rei
    -Drake Crator (WP/DB Tank)
    -Panzerwaffen (AR/EM blaster)
-Stargeek (He better make it ;em shakesfist)
    -Stalemate
    -Globetrotter
    -Syntonic (fire/fire blaster)

I'll update the roster as I figure out what AT/powers we're bringing.

My internet connection isn't perfect. Should I never take any glowies, or in fact join any tf's, just in case it happens to go down and inconveniencing my team? Because the stability of an internet connection is, by definition, unpredictable. There is no way to guarantee a connection you receive from an ISP.

And this is just talking about unforeseen computer internet connection problems. Who knows what kind of medical emergencies might come up (choking, asthma, diabetes issues)...

I see absolutely no reason to not remove an arbitrary timer from a temp power needed to finish a task force.

    Flashback Toon?

My ill/rad is pretty decent at flashbacks, even under the challenge settings.

Superior invis means you don't get targeted, and deceive lets you take out problem enemies. And you'll have PA available by level 13(+5) (though obviously not perma), which makes life easier.

No no no, you must have misheard. It's actually more like this:

  16. Fun fact: Layla made that little hair ornament, too. And no, I'm not referring to the crown (Though I imagine she made that as well) .

  17. Hi guys! Exciting news! Well, not so exciting yet because I'm not gonna tell all of it to you, I'm just gonna tease you with it.

Something is coming soon. No, not Stalemates huge July event. Something after that. But it shall be fun. And layla kissy's shall be had by all (Or so I hear ).

And now, to the hero phone!

    No Escaping!

Fire/Dark Corrs seem to be excellent on BAFs. Throw down the patch to slow and debuff resistance outside the doors, then pour fire on them as they spawn.
  19. It's an interesting idea, that could indeed increase the variety of build differences.

    However.

I don't like that it would modify your costume. Roleplaying special artifacts is all well and good, but having to wear something silly just because you liked the power? Nuh uh.

Also, if you're giving up a power selection for what amounts as a temp power, that temp power needs to have infinite uses. Your idea as it stands now (admittedly, I skimmed past the last couple paragraphs after I read the first few) would be largely ignored, in my opinion, by the player base.

It has to be family because this is one of those inane morality questions, the like of which we've seen in games like infamous.
  21. I thought Z was a AR/devices blaster? (At least, that's what his character and all the NPC's he showed up as were during the invasion.)

    Airheaded Vision

Love the collage, dude. Let us know when you get them!
  23. There needs to be a beach zone in Paragon.

  24. And here we find layla, teaching others how to make CoH dolls:

In regards to everyone asking what the above means, I imagine he's referring to the base storage. I still don't really see what the problem is, seeing as how we can temporarily hold stuff in our email and Auction House, so I suppose that's just a guess on my part.

Not to mention, a solo SG can easily afford a storage rack or two.
