  1. Man, that sucks. Good thing someone asked before I went through with my scrappers build and found out the hard way.
  2. Come to think of it, I only remember seeing that they were going to fix that IO in tornado and bonfire, I don't recall them mentioning Water Spout. So, it SHOULD work well in it. I haven't tested it myself though.

    This just in!

This is excellent news. Now I have two more characters to respec next issue.

Well, three. But we aren't talking about Fortunatas in this thread.

With a similar build investment, it will fare pretty much the same. The playstyle can be quite a bit different, though.

I don't have the math or the bias to answer this one, too many variables to answer without seeing what kind of build you plan on using.
  5. So this week on "The things you wish you never heard Fridays..."

Sadly, we were missing some people, and Ex had computer issues (sorry Ex!), but we got some people some xp and had a pretty good time. Until next week, have a fun double xp weekend.

    Items of power

    I don't have any specific feelings about this, I just thought it was funny that your argument consists of;

"Hey we're getting overpowered anyway, so give us back these things you took away because of balance issues so we can get even stronger."

    PPM and Fluffies

Three a minute translates out to a 20% chance to fire. It also takes the random out of it, and taking into account how recharge will relate to proc firing...

Granted, I'm not well versed in the PPM aspect of the game, but it sounds like it's actually a small boost, is it not?
  8. Do they actually differentiate between those two words (free and premium) in the game? Could it be saying free but simply mean "You are not paying a subscription at this time."

What does it say your reward level is, and do you have any tokens?
  9. I would find it useful.

I typically stockpile IOs that I use a lot in my base, so by the time I get a new character to 50 the build is already halfway collected. So yeah, for a while there my half finished characters are sporting a Frankenstein build while I try to search through other characters and/or obtain the recipes that are left to procure.

...and how would you be able to select it, if the fitness power pool isn't a thing anymore? You can't make ONE power selectable on a power pool that no longer exists to select.

The only plausible way to do this would be to just add it to the inherents we already get, which I don't know if the dev's would be willing to do.
  11. I've soloed that mission on multiple characters and ATs, with varying builds. It most certainly did not require a team to finish. It was a bit challenging, sure, but you are given tools to use if you can't handle the spawns yourself.
  12. Except that fitness isn't a selectable pool anymore, so how would one select it?

So none of your business at all for welcoming to the khelidan forums .
Um....ok...in the future, I'll try to be more rude to newcomers like you, then? Not sure what you were aiming at there. A for effort though, dude.

Ah, so now (again) you are the one assuming forum dates mean something? You make me smile.

I could make a joke here, but I won't. Just so you know.

Maybe you should get off your high horse , cause game has evolved too much for us oldie.
To say we can really be bothered .

Also some people say oldies are not argumentive , sadly it is people like you who make us argumentive .

So if they want to fix kheldians, then they will fix it there way .
And so far with everything they have done things there way .
But frankly at this point I wouldn't touch kheldians .
Cause of people like you playing it
, beter to not touch anything ,
People might get butthurt , so let the youngster who tought they invented the wheels play it.
Yeah they might grumble and be dissatisfied , but beter not upset there frail ego .
    Lol. Ok.

Well, anyway, you keep doing the things you do, buddy. I'd continue this little chat we're having, but unless you're an alternate account of New Dawns, I really have nothing to say to you. Not that I believe you are, as I personally believe that she's above that. So...yeah.

You know what's funny, is I didn't even bother looking at your join date. You were the one assuming that is what I was referring to. What I WAS referring to, was your presence in the kheld forums. Like I said, welcome to this thread.

I don't think New Dawn needs you to be her knight in shining armor (at least not for me), because I'm not flaming her. I'm disappointed that she chose to stop our discussion, but that's really none of your business, is it?

Oh, hello new person. Welcome to these boards. Please refrain from trying to tell me what to do, and I will do my best to continue pretending to care what you think.

You normally storm out of threads with "light tones" and end discussions that weren't hostile because you can't explain/defend yourself, then? Interesting.
  17. First, I'd like to also congratulate Abe on making full use out of the quoting feature. Much easier on the eyes.

Secondly, THB, don't you know better than to argue with Abe? You just can't win buddy.

    Seems legit.
  19. So, 7 kheldians and a blaster walk into the Rogue Isles...

...and we stumbled over a spider and squished it.
  20. Oh man, I didn't check the previous dates, just the poster above me. I feel kind of dirty now.

That's true, and if for some reason you enjoy going backwards (personally I play to max level for a reason. I like it there.) you can always make a second build.

The point is that my point stands. There is an ultimate build. You just seem to be saying that not all people want to or can afford to be ultimate. Just because you don't want the best thing doesn't make it any less the best thing. Y'know?
You're not listening. I'm not disagreeing there isn't a numerically superior build--I'm saying that that build won't neccessarily work for everyone. For those people that prefer triform, that build is not ultimate, because they do not have fun playing it. Doesn't mean it's not superior numerically--it means that it is not best for them. And if it doesn't work for them, it may as well not exist.

And my point still stands, as evidenced from our little exchange. It's debatable.

    Not quite, but try this analogy;

You're pimping out this awesome car (A Ferrari, why not). It has the best horsepower, best everything. But it's a stick shift. And the person you're trying to sell it to doesn't drive stick. It's not a matter of knowing how, the person just doesn't like to drive stick. So the car is worthless to that person.

Level 50 is the highest level, level 50 builds can do the best things, and the best way to play at level 50 is by following my soon to be announced foolproof human form stratagem (alright, 'fool proof' might be a bit of an overstatement. But the responsibility for that lies with the fools.)
Well, first of all, you can't compare a level 20 to a level 50. Get real bro.

Second of all, there are 49 levels in the game before 50--and I'm not even talking about the leveling up process. Just because you don't like exemping, doesn't make that true for everyone else. Human form will still be weaker at earlier levels, before it starts getting it's awesome powers, than a tri-form.
  23. Like this?

    I enjoyed that bug.
  24. The idea in general isn't bad.

The thing is, though, that this idea (giving us more enhancement slots) has gone around these forums a million times now. The dev's have tried to give us more. And it broke the game. Not unbalance wise, you see, but coding wise. It's a very difficult thing to do, changing core features of the game.
