My problem is that once I've become an Incarnate and 'ascended' what's next for me..... I'm not a big Trials fan....Am I then being in a position of being permanently overpowered in comparison to everything else in the game....I just don't want to cakewalk everything also.
There's TF's and exemplaring, but are there or will there be other avenues for me to explore these abilities? I wouldn't like to think they're just good for one area of the game.
S.Quote:Uhmm....that's not what I'm saying at all. I'm just simply wondering what other ways I can put these new power levels and abilities to use beyond Trials. I'm not doom-crying, I'm not complaining about my strength levels, Stone Daemon.
I do apologise if I wasn't being clear about this.
S. -
This stuff barely came out (and is still releasing), so you cant really cry doom quite yet. So you dont like trials. Thats fine. There are sure to be upcoming TFs soon, and lets not forget "The Coming Storm."
If you hate being strong in the meantime, unequip your level shift and/or abilities. Simple as that.
Though I can't tell why you would go to the trouble of playing the raids you didnt enjoy in the first place to only turn around and complain about your progression in strength... -

Just wanted to give an update--I'm definitely working tommorrow, so feel free to give my spot away
Perhaps we can do this another time, if you get enough bites to make this a repeated thing? -
Haha, I google searched Zwill and got that Rularuu picture on page 9.

Quote:*considers a fire/fire dom with containment*1) The balance issues. A Dominator gets a damage secondary. Giving them containment on top of this would mean that they would be doing absurd amounts of damage.
You know what, nevermind, love the idea.
Just kidding, it's still a terrible idea. -

TV Control
Level 1- Re-runs
Ranged, Minor DMG (Smashing), Immobilize
Like a punch in the gut, you force your foes to come to the realization that there is nothing to watch on TV. What will they do? Their indecision paralyzes them in place.
Level 1- Pause
Ranged, Moderate DMG (Smashing), Hold
There are a couple things going on right now, and that enemy is the least important of them. Pausing the enemy will hold them until you’re ready to bother with him.
Level 2- Romantic Comedy
Targeted AoE, Moderate DMG (Psionic), Immobilize
You’ve put the enemy into a tricky spot. On one hand, they reaaaalllly don’t want to be caught watching this show—they have a reputation, you know. On the other hand, it looks really interesting and they haven’t seen it before. Their grief and vacillation causes them a tangible pain.
Level 6- Charmed
Cone, Confuse
You put on a TV series about three suburban witches for your enemies. Within moments they are enthralled with the show, though they may start to argue over who the “best” one is.
Level 12- Mute
Targeted AoE, Stun, Minor DMG (Energy)
Those enemies were annoying, so you muted them. Or struck them mute. Whatever.
Level 18- Stop
Targeted AoE, Hold
When Stop is activated, you can completely shut down a group of enemies until you are ready to watch them some more.
Level 26- Documentary
Location, Foe Sleep
You put on a documentary to educate the foes about the eventual end result of their nefarious ways. Unfortunately, this has the unintended effect of making them fall asleep. Whatever works, I suppose.
Level 32- Static
Pet Summon
The caster of this power can summon up to 3 static imps from the airwaves to play tricks and disrupt your enemies. These little buggers are not meant to live in this plane, however, and tend to fade in and out of reality randomly. -

Awful idea. Sorry.
When I make a dominator and take it to hero side, it's not because I want to turn it into a controller. It's because I dislike redside. Your idea essentially forces people to STAY on X side just to keep their AT's inherent ability. -

Quote:Oh, I love my Warshade- He's my shiniest, favoritest character. I was just saying I've heard they're still good on SO's at 50... But I've never tried using SO's at 50, so I wouldn't know.
Tell your boss you'll be busy saving the world that day... Just explain the situation- Marauder NEEDS to be defeated. I'm sure he'll understand.
Ooooooh, gotcha. Yeah, I wouldn't know either. We're in more civilized times, now
Hah, I doubt she will. But we'll see, it's still not 100% certain yet. -
Quote:The tier 4 Lore pet gets (And correct me if I'm wrong, as I don't have a tier 4 pet myself, people who know better) the Lore: Power autopower which raises it's attack by like 30%.So while I was playing a night or two ago someone asked, "what's the difference between the t3 and t4 Lore pets?"
EDIT: This has more info. -

Quote:Stone, I'm sure you will be fine. I've heard that level 50 Warshades are still really awesome on just SO's, but I've never tried it.
You should really try one sometime. I mean, I'm not gonna go gung-ho on the topic like some of the forumites on here, but warshades really are unique beasts.
Also, I may have had my decision taken away from me. Just got told by my boss I might be needed to cover this saturday. So, I may miss all of the Day of Vigilance. Super. -

Toggle: Self +Res(Fire, Energy, Negative, Psi, Hold, Sleep)
With this power active, a large bubble forms around your body that gives your resistance to non-physical attacks.
Level 26- Raging Current
PBAoE, Superior DMG(Smash/Cold), Foe Knockdown, Self Teleport
A water wielder can naturally manipulate any source of water. This includes water in the atmosphere. Using this ability, you can look into the fabric of the universe and transport yourself to any nearby location at the blink of an eye, smashing through anyone in your path.
Level 32- Gushing Geyser
Self +Resistance(All Damage but Psionics, Disorient, Sleep, Hold, Immobilize, Repel, Knockback), +Recovery, +Regeneration, PBAoE; Foe Knockup
When you activate this power, water rushes from the ground up at high speeds around your body. This serves to deflect most blows but those of the mind, and can also make nearby foes lose their balance. When this power wears off, it will leave it's user exhausted, and drained of endurance. -
