Howdy folks! Next month, during the weekend of the 19th--or more specifically, Friday evening of the 19th until the following Monday of the 22nd, Layla Rei and myself will be hosting an event. There will be fun to had by all--and if you're not having fun you're doing it wrong!

Without further ado, the schedule:
Please note that all times are Eastern.

Friday, 9pm- Badge Hunting

Geas of the Kind Ones
We'll start off doing a Katie Hannon taskforce (Level 30+), and follow up by seeking out the Croatoa GMs and farming the ghost defeat mission (since that's the defeat badge that is regulated by the night cycle in Croatoa). If you find yourself not needing this accolade, you can just join us for the Katie and alt out, or wait for the next part.

10:00pm--Special Edition of Kheldian Fridays!
Myself, @AIB, and @Septipheran will be running a special edition of Kheldian Fridays! So bring your kheld, because we'll be running the Lady Grey Task Force (45+). There will be a costume contest upon completion of our task force--the theme is your best kheldian themed costume and the winner will get 100 million influence.

10:30pm--Atlas Medallion (Moonfire TF)
Layla will be running the Moonfire TF (Level 23+) to help people get the Warwolf and Vampryi badges. The rest of the Atlas Medallion requirements are exploration badges and plaques (and that short 5 minute flashback mission that we aren't going to do unless someone REALLY needs help on it).

11:30pm/12:00am--Cavern of Transcendence/Julius the Kind Hearted Troll arc
This will be a NON ghosting version of the CoT, in an effort to get the tricky Volcanic badge, which is gotten via red magma Igneous enemies. Now, by non ghosting, I mean that after we warp to the actual mission, we will wade through the enemies and knock out all the pesky igneous we see. We probably won't have enough to get the badge, but every little bit helps.

Edit to add: The Julius arc from the hollows has an Igneous map as the very first mission, so we may or may not do the CoT, depending on turnout/vote.

Saturday, 11am
(This will be a busy day, and all times are approximate)
There will be random Hide and Seek events in between the other ones on Saturday, for a prize of 25 million influence a capture, for each of us.

11am--Master of Kahn TF

12:30pm--Master of Lady Grey TF

3:00pm--Master of ITF

5:00pm--Master of Apex TF

6:30pm--Costume Contest! (Many Rewards, see below)
There will be 3 categories for this CC. You can pick whichever one that you feel like trying for, but you can only choose one, since we will be judging them all simultaneously.

First Category: Dress as your version of Layla!
Requirements: Costume must have blue skin and pink hair. (If costume features a hood, or anything that would otherwise block your hair color, you may do that.) If you don't know what layla looks like, shame on you. Oh, and also, see this.

1st place reward: A free Layla doll AND 200 million influence! (Winner may choose any character of theirs to make a doll out of.)
2nd place reward: One purple recipe and 100 million influence.
3rd place reward: 50 million influence.

Second Category: Dress as your version of Stone!
Requirements: My character isn't quite as iconic as Layla's, but Stone has Hipster hair and tattoos. If you don't know what he normally looks like, I can't say I blame you, because I'm a big altoholic . Examples are here.

1st place reward: A custom chibi drawing of their favorite character by Roah Brett and 200 million influence.
2nd place reward: 100 million influence.
3rd place reward: 50 million influence.

Third Category: If you don't feel up to making a Layla or a Stone costume, you're in luck. All you need to do is making something that will make Layla laugh! (Is that vague enough for you? Good!) We look forward to seeing what you come up with.

There will only be one winner of this category, and the reward is a secret!


8:00pm--MoSTF Race!
Everyone from the costume contest is encouraged to attend in a Layla vs Stone MoSTF race. We would prefer if you kept your costumes from the contest on, and we'll split into teams to race to see who wins the master first. If we have more than two teams, the more the merrier.

Rewards go to the first team that successfully returns with a master badge. Each person on the winning team will get a random purple recipe for participating. If both teams agree on it before hand, there will also be a "Mulligan" rule, in which both teams restart if one of the teams have an early...mistake, on the first mission.


Sunday!

11am--SG/VG Base contest
Any SG/VG out there that has a base they're proud of are welcomed to attend. We will meet in RWZ and take turns going to each of them. There will only be one winner of this contest, but the winning SG gets a discount at Layla's etsy shop for EVERY member in their supergroup (one discount per global name).

2pm--Cathedral of Pain!
Led by Layla Rei, Stone Daemon, and Drake Crator
This will be a hero side event, so please ensure to bring your hero or vigilante to the fun. Also, while it would be great if you bring your incarnate, any joker that brings one with Rularuu pets is gonna get smacked.

4pm--All Controller Manticore TF
Level 30+, Controllers will get preferential invites, but if we cannot fill team we will accept dominators into the party.

6pm--All Kheldian ITF
Level 35+, We will accept VEATs if we cannot fill the team with HEATs.
Note: This used to be the Numina, but due to popular demand (and some people with evil khelds--you know who you are)--this is now a co-op tf. Numina is down below with a new theme.

7:30pm--All Tank Citadel TF
Level 25+, We will accept villain equivalent if we fail to fill with tanks.

8:00pm--Special edition of Strike Force Sunday!
Zaloopa will be running a Master of Barracuda strike force with a special costume contest (for only the participants) afterwards with a special villainous theme. There will only be one winner, and the prize will be 100 million inf. For more details, see Strike Force Sundays thread.


9:00pm--Fire and Ice Numina TF
Level 35+, Bring a fire, ice, or storm based character! We're about to get PRIMAL on Jurassik.

Monday!

12pm (Noon)--All Scrapper Sister Psyche TF
Level 20+, We will accept villain equivalent.

2pm--All Defender Synpase TF
Level 15+, Will accept villain equivalent.

4pm--All Blaster Positron TF
There is no blaster equivalent. Bring a blaster. If you don't have one, make one! The minimum level is 10, lazy!

7pm--Beach Soccer contest!
To wrap up this event, we will be holding a beach soccer game in croatoa. Our main goal is to have fun kicking around the poor monsters, and, if we get enough people, to punt around the Croatoa GMs. If they hated us when we beat them Friday night, they're gonna loathe us now! To that effect, please bring any knockback oriented character so that we can stack up enough magnitude to send them flying.

We will also be judging the person that has the best beach themed costume, so impress us! The winner will get a special prize!

Why stop at fire and ice? I'd like to see a crystal/earth/dark/etc sword too. Of course, these don't exist in the game like the fire/ice ones do, but it'd still be nice for character design purposes.

They definitely need to do something to flurry, the animation is too long for what it does. I'm all for seeing it cut in half, and if they could make it look better, go for it.

I like how you seem to have put a lot of thought into the animations and powers...but dude, seriously, please use caps where appropriate. Makes it cleaner and easier to read.

I've thought some more about it, and I think if anyone is gonna die, it'll be BAB, since Galaxy is ground zero for the whole meteor thing.

Then again, I doubt anyone will die, if only because of the work involved in taking these heroes out of all the various arcs/TF's they appear in or play the contact for would be a major pain. Unless, of course, they plan on using a convenient excuse.

I'll grant you, though, that in optimum (and only optimum) circumstances--such as multiple location -slows/immobilizes, a fire tank would be able to be of more use at the choke point. In all other cases, however, you'll get more use out of effectively shutting down one of the spawning points than hitting a couple enemies every so often with burn, then chasing down the others.

I've never had that optimum setting happen for me, and while it may happen here, it won't be for me because I'm bring a controller
