  1. Oooh, that sounds fun. I'll have to see if I can turn mine vigilante by then.

  4. Plant stuffz:

We also did an Eden and a Citadel. You don't get pictures of those.
  5. We ran a Katie and a Yin--and people wussed out, so Syanpse next time!

    Omega wins the contest! Wooooo!

Besides, I don't think they could be adding anymore than 1% or 2% Advanced iXP, so why does it matter if you fight them or not? It would still take 5 runs to unlock Hybrid on a full league.

All I'm saying is that for 30 seconds, they don't count, so don't run ahead and think those defeats are counting towards the goal of that phase.
You say that like it actively hurts the leagues success. Every little bit helps, and it doesn't hurt anyone.

And miss out on the free advanced ixp? Who cares if they're counted or not?
  8. You got the right idea, and with a few minutes of tinkering...

Granted, I did push in an ATO set on the Nova Detonation. Mostly because I just don't like Posi, and the set isn't *that* expensive. But that call is on you.

    Lightform

Since nobody else gave you the numbers...when it crashes it will take you to 50% health/endurance. Not really that noticeable, unless you happen to take an unfortunate spike in damage. Definitely leave it on auto.

You chose your powers just fine, however I notice that you've overslotted a couple powers that can be frankenslotted (or not slotted at all), such as light form, inner light, and the heals (glowing touch, specifically). The lack of defense also hurts the survivability on harsher enemies/difficulties. I don't think I would take solar flare at all, slotted the way it is. The endurance cost alone would be too nasty.

I would juggle some slots off of those powers, and put them on radiant strike to beef that up, and replace out some of those other melee enhancements with kin combats. To make up for the lost recharge, I'd probably slot nova blast with decimation, amongst other small tweaks.
  11. So apparently we're doing a Katie TF this Friday, so put your thinking caps on and come up with something we can run afterwards.
  12. Oh no, Golden Girl hacked Laylas account.

    ...

We scheduled it around VEAT madness, so I look forward to dragging some familiar faces around with me. We will probably only have 5 spots open for Saturdays stuff, so reserve early! See you guys soon.
  13. Wouldn't this basically kill vigilante/rogues dead? Why bother going for a grey faction (and losing access to the H/V merits) if you can go anywhere?

Doubtful, the rad armor set was barely made/outlined at the summit, and Pendragon (and the Mag trial in general) had to have been already in beta by that point.
  15. True story--I read the OP and thought, "Oh, this guy wants to gimp his WS." I wasn't going to say anything, but I'm glad Dechs did.

Lerson, if you're going triform there is really no reason to screw yourself over by neglecting the other forms. A warshade does not fill any type of existing niche (such as tank, or blaster, or whatever)--rather, it is a sum of its parts, creating an entirely different playstyle. So don't limit yourself dude, even a cheap triform build will vastly outperform a limited one.

Of course, maybe I just misinterpreted the OP. It happens.
  16. So we ran a Lazarus TF:

And then fell back to the good old fashioned ITF--in record speed!

The Green Mitos alone would prove impossible to crack with only khelds. It's quite a bit tougher than Lady Grey's version.
  19. I'm thinking a Mender Lazarus TF and/or ITF. And for the record, if we were going to do an RtR, I wouldn't announce it ahead of time. To prevent interference, you see.

    Control Hybrid?

Mez protection stops the mez outright...up to whatever the protection mag is.

    ...Yes?
Yes, though Soto corrected himself on that in his second post.
  21. Stone Daemon

    Control Hybrid?

If you want a hybrid that protects you from mezz, you want melee. That said, if you have clarion, you already have mezz protection--and whats more, it's perma. So assault or support is probably your best bet.

Because this is a tanking guide to electric armor, perhaps?

I think it's worth clarifying that it only looks like a dagger on Primal's side because Ms. Liberty is carrying it, and she cannot use it. In Hero 1's hands, it would look quite different.

I'd recommend making a build for yourself first, so that we can help you fix it up the way you'd like. Just focus on recharge to start off, and make sure you don't skimp on your enhancement values.
