  1. Hey everyone! Just got back from reinstalling my operating system. Ignore Razoras. I think he just left off an S from his name to avoid the word-filter on names.

Anyway. Yeah. I was a "rebel" in high school. Got accused of being 'gay' in elementary and middle school for being a geeky tomboy. So I guess eventually it stuck.

Now I'm still a tomboy, but I'm grown up and have learned from a lot of my mistakes. I'm willing to share them with people who are

    A) Curious about me
    or
    B) Headed down the same path I walked

People like Razoras don't care. They're too busy looking for the negative. And, being an unabashed optimist, I'll never se things through his eyes. I really hope none of you do, either.

so... I've got this funny feeling she's not going to give you the satisfaction of posting in this thread.

I really shouldn't. However, just this once: here you go. Hopefully I didn't blink during that one.

Is it just me, or has this picture been taken sort of from far away? I can't make out the face.

Squint more. She's the one in the low-cut top.

  3. Good Cute.

And Arcanaville? Next time don't wear such a low cut top. I can see almost everything in that pic! o.o

Sweet jeebus, man! You're freakin' evil looking! How's that working out for you?

And jumping in late to the hair discussion, I'm in that awkward stage where I'm growing my hair long again (damn law enforcement haircuts), and it's too long to be tidy with just combing, and too short for a ponytail of any dignity. Any suggestions?

    [/ QUOTE ]

When my hair was longer, I just pushed it straight back over my head- somewhere between Sylar and a Used Car Salesman. It worked alright on me.

    Also: picture!

When I was in HS I tended to draw the Freshmen girls. Not just when I was a Freshman, but throughout my entire stay. :/

Feh. At least you attracted women. I was never anything more than friend material in high school.

[/ QUOTE ]You know I didn't attract any girls in High School either. Well there was this one time at a haloween party but I was dressed as a guy and she was drunk...

All through High School I dated women... I had four girlfriends and one -extremely- serious relationship with a vastly older woman from Pennsylvania (Pushing 40 when I was pushing 20 >.&gt

It wasn't until I met Steven (First BF) that I ever thought about guys in a really sexual way... But after a 5 year long abusive relationship I bailed. Now I'm in Wisconsin with the man I plan to marry. =-3

Indeed an ode to all our wonderful, and beautiful nerd girls that peruse our forums.
    Nerd girls.

Also this thread delivers like a milkshake on a hot Sunday. Take it as you want to.

That's closer to what I look like. But my noes is smaller and I'm a bit bigger than the main nerd girl in the video... Taller, broader, and with bigger D20s.

And I'd have to say I'm about as photogenic as.... Hmm....

    I'm not very photogenic. :P

  8. Mine tends to stay ramrod-straight. I can't braid it well, can't curl it at all. It's the Native American blood, I think. REALLY annoying.

I have to do my hair into whatever position I want it to take -right- after conditioning, while it's still soaking wet. Otherwise it dries in whatever position it's in and won't change no matter what I do. It's -that- stubborn.

Once it hits my shoulders, though, it starts getting wavy/curly, and turns into a horrible rat's nest.

So at long length it's impossible to take care of. At medium length it's impossible to style. And if I cut it too short it turns into an afro because the hairs themselves are thick and strong. Without the weight of their length they just stick straight out.

The upshot: I have -great- body and volume.

    -Rachel-
  13. The problem with going red is that I have to bleach -first- then dye my hair red.

Red doesn't show -up- on my hair. It's -that- dark.

  16. Unfortunately powers are baked in to the character's height. So that when someone 4 feet tall throws off a fireball it shows the exact same animation as someone 8 feet tall, with the anchor-point for the fireball animation itself being the outstretched hand.

By altering the size of the character you could create an 8 foot tall fire blaster hurling fireballs from his knees while doing the throw animation some 4 feet higher.

    Rachel-

PS. Yes. I'm aware that it likely wouldn't be his -knees- that the fireball is coming from. However the example was for explanation purposes only and can't be made accurate on Teen Rated Forums. =-P

  19. But that's also a logical fallacy... AS an enemy scales to higher level than you, so too does his accuracy. The purple patch is all but irrelevant at that point, since +def is overcome by better accuracy and -tohit is better resisted thanks to his level.

Ultimately the only deciding factor is the target's -inherent- resistances to tohit or bonuses to accuracy.

So yes. +Def is better against an AV, generally speaking. But you'll fight more non-resistant Minions, Lieutenants, and Bosses as you progress through the game than AVs or resistant enemies.

So with that out of the way Team +Def and Enemy -ToHit are functionally identical, even with higher level enemies. It's only in specific instances where a target has greater Accuracy or Greater Resistance that one becomes better than the other.

Actually -that- is a logical fallacy... resistance to ToHit Debuffs is typically performed by creating overly accurate enemies. Such as the Overseers. AVs are the only enemy I'm aware of that SPECIFICALLY has ToHit Debuff resistance. So +Def and +ToHit are functionally the same about MOST enemies with high accuracy, as well.

    -Rachel-
  20. 3 slots damage, 3 slots endurance 3 slots accuracy and 3 slots for KB, Tohit Debuff, -Def, EndMod, stun, hold, fear, whatevah.

    -Rachel-
  21. ToHit is better, generally speaking.

Some enemies have resistance to it (to some degree or another) but it is functionally identical to applying +Def to your whole team. Even 5% +def can make a -huge- difference if someone is near to the soft-cap.

Self +Def only protects you. However team +Def is just as nice as target -ToHit. For best results: Combine the two!

    Mu pp question.

Range not area for Electric Fences.

Both range -and- area for the cone. Since a cone's -angle- is set in the system a longer cone will have a wider end. But the max targets doesn't change.
