Hard to beleive mind does not have a mass confuse isnt it?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Mind does have Mass Confuse, but it's the last power you can pick up.
  2. Happy Birthday Wabbit!

Carrot cake with tomato ketchup all round!
  3. I would've put "Never trust the nerd/geek" at number one.

Oh and how can we forget, removing a woman's glasses and hairband makes her outrageously stunning?

    Farewell peeps

Where the hell do you think you're going? Who's going to mock me on the Evo chat channel now?

    Take care, Gand .
  5. You're very talented. Photoshop is by no means an easy application to use. Excellent work!
  6. Stasis' has to be "Bring me to Life", mainly because of the "I've been sleeping for a thousand years it seems" section of the lyrics, and the fact that she was left in stasis for a while.

    Vainglory: "You're So Vain"...duh .
  7. Excellent work displaying the Monty Python rules of combat: "Run away!"

    hos in base??

    [/ QUOTE ]

Little insight into just how sordid my mind is: I read that, not as hospital, but as...'easy' women.
  9. Och, we're all doomed, dooooooomed!

    Greetings .

    What's the CAB for?

    [/ QUOTE ]

    I haven't respecced yet .
  11. When up against grey to red mobs, I use my Claws/Invul Scrapper as a Tank; making sure I have Invincibility up, I'll run in and fire off Shockwave. This then aggros each mob that it hits onto me, and the rest are caught in the Invince taunt; if I miss any, or notice that one's escaped to attack another member of the team, I'll send a Focus it's way and then proceed to bash the mobs to death (slowly).

If I'm soloing, I'll take on smaller groups (I usually solo on Rugged), and use Spin more often.

Against AVs I pretty much just stand there and take damage, hitting every once in a while to keep aggro, and let the rest of the team blap, 'troll and swipe it to death. My problem arises whenever there's an actual Tanker in the team. I've played as a Scrapper-Tank for so long now that I try to take their job away from them . Though, once I'm back into the swing of things, I play as any Scrapper would.

    Hit, arrest.
    Hit, arrest.
    Hit, arrest.
    CAB.
    Rinse and repeat.
  12. Accepting a rez from Max Powerz's villain, only to have another large group of villains rush over and proceed to whap me to death

Or...jumping into the villains base and slapping a solo Brute. I felt bad about that afterwards though; once I'd stopped laughing that is.

    sappers

    [ QUOTE ]
being a super reflex i am lucky to be hit by a sapper but if i was a claws invuln i can see problems maybe if you chose to run up and use follow up

    [/ QUOTE ]

No problems at all facing Sappers with the claws/invul powerset. As Firekitty said: fire off Focus, Shockwave and Focus again, and they never get a chance to hit you. Not to mention the fact that Unyeilding prevents against those horrid taser thingies.
  14. Answer an awful lot of "what was that?" questions

For that, you get time traveling alternate dimension immortal catgirl kheldians!

    [/ QUOTE ]

Ouch! Can there be anything worse?

Ninja Amazon time travelling alternate dimension immortal catgirl kheldians!...in bikinis!
  16. Hmm, I'd have to say I prefer outdoors meeting places, as others can run up, roleplay for a moment, and rush off. It makes more sense (to me) than having them all agree to meet in the same place at a certain time each day, especially when half of them don't know one another. Plus, you've got to bear in mind the *ahem* door bugs, that can cause crashes for some people.

There's a large dome in Cap Au Diable, which Noir picked for the few roleplaying meetings she hosted. I'd like to put in a permenant vote for there. It's safe (lots of Arachnos Drones to protect you), easy to get to and large enough to allow for multiple roleplaying groups. In a way, it's the Rogue Isles' Galaxy Girl.
  17. I'll admit I've not been inside the casino, but if it's anything like the casino mission maps--wouldn't it be a bit dark?

I'd suggest somewhere outdoors, and preferably not such a high-level zone.

The passive (auto) powers can be slotted now that ED has come into effect, which possibly makes them more useful than before (I wouldn't know, I still haven't bothered to respec); and as each one is specific to a certain type of damage, save Tough Hide, it adds a little more oomph to your build.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Um, the passives could always be slotted couldn't they?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yes, I meant, because of ED, we don't need to six slot a power that takes only one type of enhancement, hence we have 'spare' slots, meaning we can now use them to slot the passives. Any clearer?
  19. Show off!

    It's still very good .
  20. Take everything! You'll need it .

The passive (auto) powers can be slotted now that ED has come into effect, which possibly makes them more useful than before (I wouldn't know, I still haven't bothered to respec); and as each one is specific to a certain type of damage, save Tough Hide, it adds a little more oomph to your build.

Beware of Invincibility, it has inherent taunt, so I wouldn't keep it active while scooting around high-level zones. Has the ToHit buff come back? I know there were some changes to the set a while back, but I was a bit miffed at the time so I avoided reading them and hoped for the best. Even so, either way, I'd slot for ToHit...each mob you're taunting grants an acc buff, but that ToHit just goes that extra bit further.

Unyeilding is luverly, really. It protects against status effects (though there's no protection against supression) which in PvE is very useful if you're having to play a mini-Tank.

Dull Pain: get it, it's your only self-heal. Slot for recharge and health.

Temp Invulnerability: I went without this for quite a while, but slotted well it's a nice boost.

Unstoppable: Hmm, I'm undecided on this. It can be a dangerous power as once your two minutes are up, BAM!, no more health, no more endurance. However, it's fairly impregnable. You might as well take it, as it can come in handy; especially in those 'aw [censored], RUN!' situations. Simply fire it off and run for the hills. I wouldn't suggest using it against an AV though.

That's all I've got for now I'm afraid. Sorry for the lack of exact figures (I don't DO maths). Hope it's helped a little .
  21. I still find it difficult to play young male characters, even though as Stasis I was mistaken for a male playing a female for a very long time. I've played older male characters, but to get out of being caught up in romantic relationships I played them over 60; usually with NPC wives, children etc. Yet, I can and have played lesbian characters and had a lot of fun doing so.

I think it must be the mindset of a young male that throws me; I don't understand men at all IRL, and so I'd most likely be playing up to stereotypes rather than reality. An online friend of mine once wrote a textbook themed essay on how to play men, but being male himself, it assumed you knew the ins and outs of how most men behaved already.

One day I'll conquer my 'fears' and roll a male character, and see how it goes; but for now, I'm sticking to females, snake-beasts and robots
  22. Thanks Syn I'll be picking that up next chance I get then.

Question for the other Mind/Psi's - is TK really worth getting? The end drain and aggro don't look all that appealing; does the hold make up for it?

    [/ QUOTE ]
Do you want to be able to push +2/3 bosses into a corner, all neatly bunched up for AoEs and general beatings?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yes, yes I do. However, does it allow/need duration slotting? Or is in an 'active as long as you keep the power running provided you have enough endurance' type?
