Kate Beckinsale in underworld makes me drool...
That lovely outfit and not a single crease in it. It's plain awesome, wish i could pull that off.
[/ QUOTE ]
You can. It's called Torture Garden*.
* Forking out hundreds of pounds for very well made rubber and latex outfits. Which are pretty flexible thanks, GG. -
Fire Guardian and I have just finished watching a marathon session of the Channel 4 reality "hit", Come Dine With Me (shut up, it's hilarious). Anywho, whilst watching - we noticed something a little familiar in the background, a copy of City Of Heroes Deluxe.
We found is fascinating that someone who decided to compete on a cooking program would also play MMOs (there was a copy of WoW there too).
This thread has no real point to it, unless the Game Terrine man would like to own up... -

Some people are really full of themselves.
[/ QUOTE ]
Its got to be better than being full of someone else though.
[/ QUOTE ]
Doesn't that depend on what sexuality you have?
[/ QUOTE ]
Nah. Just how adventurous you are. -

See, this is the wonderful thing about text - it doesn't portray emotion too well. It also hides frustration and annoyance easily. If you are annoyed at a /tell asking you to join a team, all you have to do is reply with, "No thanks, I'm soloing" and add a smiley at the end. Simple.
Of course, getting six or seven /tells in less than 10 minutes can be irritating, but it doesn't take a second to send a stock reply. You can rant about your annoyances later.
[/ QUOTE ]
It works both ways though, if you get no reply within a reasonable length of time (say 60 seconds) just assume they're busy / AFK / Not interested and move on rather than getting upset about it. Assuming people are rude, ignorant or arrogant for not replying to a message from some random stranger is just odd.

and add a smiley at the end. Simple.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yes, as the Church of GG teaches everything is better with a smiley at the end of it.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yes it does go both ways, but if you aren't AFK and do reply, you've covered your end.
As for smileys - much like anything else, overuse is bad for you. -

I'm anal as hell about replying to /tells, MSN conversations, Facebook messages, letters, e-mails, random comments in public. It's a pain in the neck.

Because no internet forum would be even remotely interesting without a clash of opinion/fact etc. -

If I pay cash into my account, when can I access it?
If you pay cash into any NatWest branch in the UK before 3.30pm on a working weekday, you'll normally be able to access it the same day.
[/ QUOTE ]
From the NatWest web site.
[/ QUOTE ]
Next Day Delivery works in a similar way. Order before midday on a weekday, and you should receive your items in the morning post. Order after 12pm, and it's most likely to be the next-but-one day. Order at anytime on a Saturday and don't receive your items until Monday.
And all sorts of things can affect this. -
Regardless of how long it takes a cash payment to a bank account to clear (personally, mine has never been immediately available - the shortest amount of time I've had to wait has been 24 hours, the longest a week or so (especially if I make a payment on a Wednesday for reasons unknown to me)), the OP has a history of not making payments - this would cause his bank and NCsoft's to be cautious.

If you're referring to the satirical books written by Graeme Garden and others, I think you may have mistaken satire for truth.
[/ QUOTE ]
Nope, I'm not I'm afraid. I swear to god, there are actually proper rules to the game that have been used on the show. The panel are getting on a bit, however, and they often can't remember them.

But obviously... you know them. -

Of course.
We've explained this game to you on multiple occasions. I already explained it earlier in this thread, and you still don't get it.

To be fair though Stasis, you did get it wrong

The game has no rules, it has never had any rules - the whole point of the game is to confuse people who don't know how to play/have never seen it played, into thinking there is a giant list of rules everyone else knows, and they don't. -

Except for the single most important rule, which you just broke, which states you must never, ever, admit there are no rules.

Only, anyone with internet access (so, all of us) could work that out in a moment. -

Bravo.
We should make a Paragon Crescent variant
[/ QUOTE ]
Now, that would be a good idea. You'd have to include all the possible travel routes within zones though... Mmmm...
*Puts thinking cap on*
[/ QUOTE ]
*blinks* No you wouldn't. Mornington Crescent has no rules, as such - a new version wouldn't need to be thought out. There are no rules. Just start saying stuff. -

That's like asking if anyone would wear any of the outfits shown at London/Paris/Milan/NY Fashion Week. They're not meant to be outfits/hairstyles you wear, they're meant to show off the talent of the creator and provide inspiration to the masses.
[/ QUOTE ]Eh, call me a [insert whichever derogatory term is most appropriate], but I never found any real point in those either. I'm a practical person; why waste cloth for something that is not meant to actually be worn, and often tends to look ugly on the stick-figure models anyway?
[/ QUOTE ]
Why waste canvas and paints for something that's never going to make it onto the walls of anyone's home?
It's art, it's inspiration - it's not meant to be practical. -
[ QUOTE ]
Would any sane person actually wear their hair like that, anywhere..?

If these hairstyles inspire anything, it'll be hats designed to look as if made from human hair, to match your natural/unnatural hair colour. And probably faux-human-hair-cat-ears, like Neko said. -
I've seen worse on the catwalk. I would not be at all surprised if these were completely real.
They're not going to be the models' hair, though. -

Ok. The section of NCsoft that concerns us, then.
