Next Monday, Weasel and I will be limited to just the one computer. But, I have an ingenious plan (which he doesn't yet know about), we should be able to split the time between us. So you'll get SCRUB for half of the evening, and Wax for the other .

There'll only be Weasel and you, and his character isn't high enough to sk . It's up to you both though.

As half of us can't make it, and the other half haven't said anything and weren't online - I think it's cancelled for tonight.

As soon as you posted this, there was a torrential downpour which has only recently stopped. Huzzah!

Sorry I left. Crashed a total of, I think, eight times - and finally gave up when I was told my character was still logging out.

Hopefully it won't be so bad next time.

Weasel's working late tonight, so will be at most (hopefully and dependant on trains), an hour late. I should be there on time, dinner permitting - though I think Wax's trailing behind in levels quite a bit.

If I remember correctly, it's a train mission - therefore no security level problems .

I already have the badge, but if you can't get the 8 people who need/want it, count me in as a reserve (on Stasis of course).

As said, Claws/Invuln as a set isn't brilliant for PvP - so you're likely to have your work cut out for you at the start, even without choosing PvP specific power pools.

Opinion: Can't stand Follow Up. Even now it seems pretty pointless to me.

The end useage of Shockwave isn't nearly enough to make the blacklist. It's a beautiful power, and works brilliantly in an Eviscerate/Shockwave/Focus triplet.

I really wouldn't drop Tough Hide, it's not the best power in Paragon - but it's your best defence if you get toggle dropped completely; but you must take Unstoppable, especially now that the icons start blinking at you. You can quite easily plan to have Conserve Power and Dull Pain at the ready for when it drops.

Focused Accuracy gives a teeny weeny perception boost, with that in mind - I'm sure there's a powerpool power which boosts it again - you might want to consider finding out about that and choosing it, maybe...possibly...uh, I know nothing about powerpools .

As you're going for PvP specific, perhaps think about picking up Taunt? I'd usually say avoid it like the plague, but it might turn out to be useful.

My rule of thumb for PvP - pick as many toggle powers as you can, that way your chances of keeping an important one (Unyeilding) are improved tenfold if you do get Blapped .

I'm not concerned in the slightest about the team names, I hadn't even noticed them until Weasel brought it up.

The only thing I'm interested in, is knowing I've been teamed with experienced CoH/V roleplayers - which I have, so I'm happy .

Had lots and lots of fun again! We're all around the level 9 mark now, it would've been higher if not for that awful mission we tried to complete last night .

It's disappointing that there were so few of us! Only one team's worth this week. Next week I want to see at least two teams, if not three.

So people, if you have a */Fire or Fire/* character, of Science origin, around level 6-10, give us a shout! /tell either myself (Dyna Might or @Stasis), Wam (Jessica Jones or @Jericho Blaines), Weasel (Smoking Jacket or @Silver Weasel) or FG, (Doctor Tran or @Fire Guardian) and we'll get you into the SG!

I've been having a few problems with CoV lately, and it tends to crash on me quite often - but if I can sort out a quick fix (until a more permanent solution comes along), could I reserve a Dominator spot?

Will let you know if logging in is a no-go for me.

My roleplaying roots are lodged deep in third person, past tense forum-based gaming; with no character structures, no rule sets, no dice - just a healthy display of English, or lack thereof.

On all of the sites I used to haunt, uh, roleplay, there was a well established character application sheet which was basically used to "test" a player's grasp of grammar, spelling, roleplaying and whatnot. Obviously, this one isn't going to do any such thing - this is just for fun.
