X Men Origins: Wolverine 2?
Second most cumbersome movie title ever. -
Mags will be there.
-
Made myself a Kin/Regen scrapper and got to level 7. So far it's been fun, but damn those resistance guys are tough. Laid me out cold a few times early on, but I kept coming back to crush free will in the name of the Emperor. Good times.

I really like Durance as Lois Lane. I think she does a fantastic job in the role. Unfortunately, everything else she's in, she's terrible.
Also, watched the newish Street Fighter movie the other day with Kristin Kreuk, and it's every bit as bad as you might imagine. -
My Mercs:
Soldiers: Zim, Breckinridge, Medic
Spec Ops: Carmen, Dizzy
Commando: Rico
My quest for Starship Troopers themed mercs also taught me you can't use the name 'Ace' for pets. Damn you devs! -
They changed the login screen? I'm quitting the game!

My favourite part of Black Dynamite is the scene where he tries, and fails, to dramatically hang up the phone without looking. Great movie.

Quote:If you could free up one more enhancement slot, I'd swap Kick for boxing. Six slots of Kinetic Crash will get you a bigger recharge bonus, KB protection, some smashing res and a bit of regeneration. It's probably cheaper than the Crushing Impact as well. Just a thought, as I'm not much of a build guy, but I've got two of the KC sets on my MA/Fire who's built for recharge. Great set.I slotted Boxing, thinking it might be nice to have, but I do not think it's vital.

I like the idea. I'd planned to roll a Kin/Regen scrapper, loyal to the emperor, and was working on the 'what's he doing cruising paragon/rogue isles' angle. On the one hand, staying in Praetoria would fix that issue, but then again, not levelling past 20 would be a big drawback since I do like progression.
Then again, I could just roll another Kin scrapper and level him up in addition to the rp one. -
Survivability, probably the MA/Regen.
Damage, definitely the DM/FA, by a mile. Maybe two.
The MA/Fire would be something of a compromise between the two.
My two lvl 50 scrappers are MA/Regen and MA/Fire. Both are fun, clicktastic scrappers and I'd recommend either one. DM/Fire won't have the grace of MA, but the power of the combo is undeniable with two heals, two build-up powers, two end recovery powers. It's a combo I've been wanting to play for quite some time. -
Heck, with all the changes I'm considering rolling up another MA/Fire to level. Blazing Aura is simply a savage amount of damage on its own, and the changes to consume, burn, FE, CS, CAK, and EC have definitely got me thinking about what Sunrazer might do with a reworked build.

Intriguing thought.

I liked this:
Quote:"The dinosaurs became extinct because they didn't have a space program. And if we become extinct because we don't have a space program, it'll serve us right!" - science-fiction writer Larry Niven, as quoted by Arthur C. Clarke in 2001
I largely agree, yet doubt we'll see any progress on this in the foreseeable future. Humankind may be a lot of things, but proactive is rarely one of them.

So that's what happens when the engineers at Dyson go stark raving bonkers...
"You see," yelling over the screaming, "it's the cyclone action that makes it suck so well!" -
If I had the time/patience/motivation/influence to finish off the perma-haste build for mine, I think he'd be pretty badass. So much recharge, so much buildup, so much fiery, smashy death. It's certainly not the 'suck-fest' some make it out to be.

Yay! More damage!
And no more fear in Burn? My MA/Fire is getting a solid respeccing methinks. -
Cloverfield was the epitome of shaki-cam crap. I'm now waiting for the epitome of 3D-crap and the next phase of lame movie gimmicks to commence.

It would be funnier if they didn't actually do studies like that.
Browsing some other Onion reports, I found this: Ninja Parade Slips by Town Unnoticed Once Again -
There are a few posts on Elec/DA scrappers (over on the Scrapper forums) you may be able to look up. I know this because I've posted in most of them.
From my scrapper experience (lvl 36ish) with the combo it does handle pretty well. Dark Regen is a monster, and you'll want the Theft of Essence proc for it asap.
As mentioned the ST damage blows chunks, but as a Tanker this is less of an issue since your single target attacks are called Scrappers. Target a boss, Lightning Rod in, Chain Lightning, Thunderstrike and mop up.
Lightning Rod is a nice addition to Dark Armor as well. It offers tons of damage, mitigation, and puts you instantly in range to use Dark Regeneration if you're a little low on hp. No need to take potshots from your enemies, just boom in and heal.
I can't comment on how it compares to Dark/Fire as I have no real experience with Fiery Melee, but I can say the combo is a helluva lotta fun. Slow to mature, like most tankers, but a great big bag of tricks to liven up the party. -
Virtue Name Watch is the place to go for names. You can ask for help, or just sift through 10000+ posts of names. Coming up blank on any good ones that I've seen recently that might fit your character.

Quote:Or the 7-up machine from that commercial back in the day that shot cans at people, which was built by Jaime from Mythbusters.I cant get the image of that soda machine transformer from the first movie out of my head mixed with demon traits. xD

Depends what the other half is. Half human? Meh. Half Coke machine? Now we're talking.
