Hell, Lord Recluse was Statesman's best friend till they were in their late 20's or 30's. Secret identities aren't so secret in the City of Heroes. Then again it is a 'city' full of heroes. Pick a fight with one, pick a fight with all of them.

Titles are important in any media. People say 'don't judge a book by its cover', but that's pretty much all you have to judge it by without reading the damned thing.

Could be an entertaining blend of martial arts/crimefighting made on a relatively small budget that makes a reasonable pile of cash. Or it could be a $100 million, bloated, 3D CGI suckfest about nothing.

I must concur that society would be a much better place if comic books had not invented violence, alcohol, drugs, and womanizing.

Oh Dull Pain, how I love thee. I like jumping into mobs sometimes and letting 'em beat me down, just to let them think they're gonna beat me and then BAM! Great big freaking heal and I go to work.

I assume you're lvl 50 and planning to exemp much. Going from that...

Drop Acrobatics. You have two -KB IO's in the build, so don't waste the power selection or slots.

Slotting for Psi Defense bonuses strikes me as a waste. Go either for Recharge (how I went with my MA/Fire), or for softcap defense to s/l. Psi isn't common enough to worry about, and you're better off focusing elsewhere.

Ditch the extra slots in Temp Protection for the reason above. It's a waste to put extra slots there 'just' for some Psi def/res. A -KB in the base slot is the way to go.

There's six slots freed up from just those two less than optimal powers.

Also, is there a particular reason for skipping both Crane Kick and Crippling Axe Kick. They're two of your best attacks and would come in handy in maintaining any decent damage output.

As for your last 4 powers, none of them really need any slots. Acro is a superfluous choice, and the others function well enough on just the base slots.

So, which do we nuke first?

Grav/Sonic is also interesting. It's one of the two controllers I play (Girl Crush in my sig), and is definitely rare.

Traps/Ice Defender.

Not enough Carusoisms.

Because there really isn't another set without themed graphics (stone, ice, etc) that feels solid.

I like it. Assuming you can find people interested in those sorts of restrictions, it seems like it would be a fun idea.

Dr. Totenkopf's island lair from Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow is certainly one to consider. Fairly similar to Syndrome's lair, but with more of a pulp feel.

Awesome, I just couldn't find any mention of it when I tried looking for info. With the store being messed up, figured it might be something messed up. Good to hear. Already putting one of those slots to use for a Fire/DB tanker, Sunrazer (my second go 'round with that name, already a lvl 50 MA/Fire).

So, just wondering, did we get some extra character slots with GR? I've got two to redeem, and I'm just wondering if it's a sick dev joke and they'll take them away once I'm madly attached to the most awesome character ever created in game leaving me an empty shell of a gamer with nothing left to live for.

Seriously though, did we get 2 slots with GR?

For some reason, I don't own any of the Star Wars movies. Odd since, since I like them all. A six-movie box set would be swell.

Well, that was a short-lived run. Now I just have to go see if Mags died before disconnecting.

Also, I think we might want to try recruiting a few players since we're down to 4. Some more damage dealers would be good, maybe an empath to give me AB, but mostly damage. What do you guys think?
