  1. Good to see Bobby get some screen time.

Also good to see the station sync up the sound to the video about ten minutes in.
  2. Still ten minutes left, but I think this might actually be the best episode of Smallville. Nice to see James Marsters back. Now if only they keep going with the realizations rather than going back to regular Emo-man.

Hey, I liked Jackass. Just not enough to justify $13 a ticket for something that could be youtube'd searching for 'morons' and 'drunk'.
  4. Aside from missing the best powers in the set, you're level 12. Complaining at level 12 is like saying the movie sucks while the previews are playing. Calm down, take a breath, and enjoy a set that kicks some serious ***.
  5. Being the first movie I've wanted to catch in theaters since I got my new job at the start of September, I'll probably go see Red on Saturday night with the wife.
  6. I used Weaken early on with my Inv/DB for the -tohit/-def. It's nice because it's an AoE effect and helps out in a few areas where lowbie characters struggle. It's definitely something that gets phased out later on when you pick up your better attacks.
  7. Nicely done tonight. I remember him being a lot tougher. Maybe we're just that good? Who knows?
  8. Seems perfectly solid for tanking and survivability. The sweep combo, for which you're missing two attacks, would be helpful for group tanking with its aoe knockdown, as is OTC for the same reason, but you should be good to go with what you've got. Good tanking is more playstyle that powersets anyways.

More damage out of Nimble, Ablating, and Typhoon would be good since the first two will be heavily used in AV fights, but I understand the need for set bonuses as well.

Any plans for after inherent fitness rolls around?
  9. I found mine to be very effective. I think the main issue is not a lot of tankers try to solo AV's so solid opinions may be a little more difficult to find. Maybe try the scrapper forums; they're familiar with the sets and AV soloing. I know Nihili solo'd a ton of AV's and the like with his DB/Inv scrapper, but I really don't know how it'd go on a tanker.
  10. KM/FA scrapper built for recharge.

I still haven't gotten around to respeccing my MA/Regen since they changed it. So lazy, but I don't play her, so it's okay.
  12. 30+ % Recharge would be my aim. 30% would give you an extra SO worth of Recharge in everything, which is significant. My MA/Fire hit 55% while levelling and it made a big difference. Was going for perma-Hasten, but I don't play 50's so I never got around to picking up the purples/lotg's I needed for that. Nevertheless, that much recharge is very noticeable, bringing up heals, attacks and Focus Chi/Fiery Embrace much faster.

For Kin/Regen, you'll want Power Siphon and Reconstruction cycling quickly which is where the bonuses will really help.
  13. They'll be inherent once you respec as the fitness pool will no longer be a selectable option. Just put some slots into the (now) inherent powers, put your set IO's in there and tada!
  14. Electric is one of the few Stalker sets with a lot/any AoE attacks. Energy is purely ST and two heavy hitters are much maligned for being slow like molasses in January. The two sets are honestly pretty much opposites of one another. Good AoE, crap ST on one side. Non-existent AoE, and decent ST on the other.

I changed my Energy/Energy to Kinetic/Energy for something of a compromise.

Not really, but it's what they had and I'm still too poor to actually afford the boosters myself.
  16. I'll agree that Regen isn't what it was, but then again, what it was was overpowered. I certainly disagree that it's not a good set. It's still very good, if you've got a bit of skill and the willingness to use it.

I'll agree with taking the Fighting pool. Weave is going to help provide a good chunk of defense, which you're going for, and I don't think any single power made as big a boost in survivability for my MA/Regen as Tough. I would swap Revive/Tactics for Kick(Boxing)/Tough. Even unslotted it'll make a difference. I just think it's worth considering the Fighting pool since you're not even slotting two of the Leadership power you are taking.

I would focus more on Recharge bonuses for a Regen character and just ignore Psi defense.

And I really need to get the I19 version of Mids.
  17. I have it on my MA/Fire 6-slotted with Kinetic Crash. And I really wish it didn't cause redraw, because it's an awesome addition to any SWAT styled character.

  19. I like how the brothers have gradually, over the seasons, reversed roles.

This episode definitely felt more like the Supernatural I've come to love. The first two episodes were okay, but this was much better.
  20. Thanks, that was driving me insane.
  21. And here I am at a complete loss for the DB/Inv guy's name. Damn. Starts with an N, solo'd pretty much anything and everything the game could put in front of him. Usually posted his builds.

Damn it. Now it's going to bug me.

    *facepalm*

Should be 'Granite Trap' or 'Healer Trap' as the unable to jump tanker and the autofollow/autohealing crowd are the only two that should have trouble with chest high walls.
