I'm really digging the overall mood of season six. It may not have the cohesive, going-somewhere-huge feel of season five (although judging by this episode that's changing), but the chaotic desperation that Dean is dealing with is coming across nicely. Decent episode overall.

I rarely use freespecs unless I'm about to get another, so my comment was along those lines. As in, since there's already one sitting there and you don't use it, you'll lose it.
-
Honestly, I still like to play the game. That's it, that's all.

They give freespecs when they tweak a power. They're removing an entire powerset from the game next issue. Of course we'll get a freespec.

No worries, Mags will punch plenty of stuff for you.

Quote:Sadly, this is about the same way I play my Fire/Fire tanker redside. It's just a fun set, and going for +recharge gets my fancy toys to come up faster so I can set more people on fire! They give you an awesome self-rez so you can tell the world, "Bite me. It'll take more than that to keep me down", so you may as well get some use out of it.I don't play my Fire/Fire Brute to be a tank. I play him like I'm playing a hand grenade. Jump in, do as much damage as possible, die, and then explode back to life and pick off the survivors.
Besides, you can't get debt badges without debt. Like I said that one time, if you're not dying, you're not trying. -
Just saw that on my Fire tanker as well. Combat Attributes doesn't show the 50% recovery debuff resistance, but the Consume icon sticks around. Not that I really care, since I didn't even know the debuff res was in there, but still an issue.

This sounds like a job for Zack Snyder, he of the cgi wizardry and action.
Sounds interesting enough, although I too have never really heard of the character. Could be a good time. -
My personal favourite is getting stealthed and leaving my aggro aura running. Why isn't this working!? Good times.
-
I'd personally go for Recharge, as that's what I went for on my MA/Fire scrapper and having two build-up type powers cycling that often is sadistic joy in an easy to open can.
-
I recommend Planet Hulk (Marvel) and 52 (DC).
-
I'd personally like to thank both Chris Evans and Ryan Reynolds for making it exceedingly easy to convince my wife to go to the geeky movies I enjoy over the past few years. 3 superheroes apiece, or superhero related movies anyways. Who's going to get the tie-breaker I wonder?
On topic, looks pretty good. Here's hoping we get some top notch action and a whole lot of Hugo Weaving monologuing. -
Quote:My favourite is people who use texting abbreviations while talking.Everything's relative. To me over-reactive grammar Nazis annoy me just as much as people who think it's appropriate to use texting abbreviations in any written language situation.
"lol"
"Did you just say 'lol'?"
"Yeah, it means 'laugh out loud'."
"Why didn't you just laugh out loud?"
"I forgot how." -
I think the fact that a plant-based hallucinogen played such a big part in Batman Begins kind of counts against bringing in Poison Ivy. Oh look, that again.
On the other hand it establishes a sort of precedent for her shtick.
I'd love to see Bane or Killer Croc. I don't know if they could manage the back-breaking and recovery in one movie, but Bane's style could be a refreshing change of pace from the 'thinkerizing' type of villains the first two movies went with. -

If I were trying to get through land infested with alien monsters, I'd probably find a more qualified guide than a journalist, even a cynical one.

Maybe Lucy's still in there with him, influencing him, but without the power to take over or do anything.
Or maybe he's just a jerk. -
Yeah, they've definitely been shifty all right.
