  1. A thread title like that, two pages of responses, and not a single ***** joke.

I don't know whether to be impressed or disappointed.
  2. The moon really is made of cheese!?
  3. They developed a new petri dish with a lid that you can take off and put back easily while wearing clunky spacesuit gloves.
  4. Applying........

At least I was hopping on early.

Yay! A million and one respecs to do!
  5. Diverse, busy, fun, relaxing. Kind of like kinetics, but without having to waste your time taking care of your whiny teammates. Kind of like traps, but without all the razzle dazzle. No need to worry about healing or buffing. No need to worry about an anchor running off, or dying.

This is quite confusing if one is unfamiliar with the set and trying to use these descriptions to tell if a given power is an AoE.
I still remember the fantastically fun times when tanker attacks were bugged and actually were aoe's. Stacking 30-40 guys in one spot and taking them all out with KO Blow. Good times.
  7. Lightning Reflexes. Power Sink. Lightning Field.

Extra recharge. Unlimited endurance. Extra damage.

Your concerns taken care of in 3 awesome powers.
  8. Pfft... he's not that much older that my grandparents.
  9. I want to see it, but gotta wait till my next paycheck, at which point I'm sure there will be something else I'll need the cash for.
  10. Well, if this idea goes ahead, I've got an idea for a character and a fairly decent name to boot.
  11. Gah, so many ideas for a Praetorian Mags, if there even is one. Maybe it's just a Praetorian Blue Shield. Not necessarily all of the same people involved.
  12. After reading the title I'd like to request some brain bleach, extra strength.

What has been imagined cannot be unimagined.
  13. Energy/Storm slotted with KB sets maybe. Dirt cheap sets with nice bonuses.

Then again, a lot of sets, like Battle Axe or Super Strength could be KB kings with some KB enhancers slotted. Only 3 (?) or BA's attacks don't do KD, so you could be batting enemies left and right if you wanted.

But for blasters it's likely going to be Energy/. Electricity with Thunder Strike and Lightning Clap could be a contender.

    Good luck and have fun.

Now give me your lunch money.
  15. Karma would dictate that I got the Fire Blast/Regeneration powers I want, but would bone me by leaving out immunity to fire damage. Burn your foes from the face of the planet, but suffer along with them! Have fun kiddo.

With no buses and only one car per train, public transit would have lines longer than Disneyland.
  16. Someone mentioned Deadpool? Strike a pose! He was about the best part of that movie.

I think it's somewhat sad that I can't really think of more than a few female characters I would consider tier 1. I personally dislike female characters in most mediums for a variety of reasons, of which none are 'because they're female', but it is odd there isn't more support for them. Is it just a lack of good female characters? Or reader preference? Or a shadowy conspiracy?
  17. So, I thought I'd put down Drew's idea in the thread since mouse wasn't around to join the discussion.

Essentially, it would be a Praetorian counterpart to Blue Shield that we could run, for example, once a month instead of the regular Blue Shield characters.

Prem had a couple thoughts on it as well. First being that we play praetorian versions of our characters. Second being that we play praetorian versions of each other's characters.

My thoughts: I like the idea. Partly because it wouldn't involve starting up a new team on a new night and partly because it would give us a nice change of pace once in awhile. Since Praetoria is only up to level 20, there wouldn't be any real pressure to expand on the characters necessarily after that. We could have some remain on Praetorian Earth, some go hero, some go villain, delete them for new alts, whatever, and could just let it end there from an RP standpoint with an occasional tie-in for MA based arcs.

So yeah, just thought I'd throw that out there.
  18. But at least it's not a remake?
  19. The trailer before the Deathly Hallows seriously upped my opinion of the movie. Doesn't look too bad.

Yogi Bear, on the other hand, looks ******* terrible in every way possible.
  20. Or they could follow the established storyline and simply follow a new slayer in some terrible new situation. New York slayer?
  21. I eagerly await the new edition of Angel and Spike for all the lols in the world.
