I don't want to say that the tenor of the artboards is...well...sexist, but how many times can a girl look at Rowr's naked cat-crotch or Feral-Kitty's fishnet shirt? Thongs and bustiers and thigh-boots abound but there's hardly ever any good beefcake!! (How many guys go clothed in game but hardly ever get drawn with clothes?)

So, as counter-balance, I give you Windfallen and Fenris, catboys extraordinaire!

I understand about the whole "leeching" thing. And it DOES really burn me up when someone asks me for art and then they don't even say thanks when I post it (of course it could be my policy of not alerting people when I post a chibi update, you'd better just be paying attention )

BUT, I was just talking to Graver about this last night, if you're doing it for free there's really less pressure on you to produce. You have the right to say no to people, or to take as long as you want, or to wild and crazy things to them (see upcoming pic of Pep's Fenris Harlock and my Windfallen ) And really, I'm flattered when people want me to draw them. Recently someone asked me how much I charged and it made my day

So don't let the possibility of pressure stop you from posting your awesome art!!! You can always say no Although I do think the lottery system is a stroke of brilliance.

I pencil first, then I found a REALLY cheap-[censored] pen that you can buy 20 for $2 that makes a nice thick smooth line (Papermate 1.2 M ). That's what I mainly use for my inking (which is really just outlining). For chibis I use black marker, but I think I'm going to get some brush pens or something.

:P I came to this conclusion MONTHS ago. I only drop by Virtue but rarely, and never really did hang out anywhere else. So you're in excellent company!

You have to start with a clothingless model, for one. There should be a few available standard with the program. You can also set genitalia on/off in the menu, depending on whether you need full detail, or if Barbie/Ken will do...

Also: bums are poor models. They generally leave a bit to be desired, and more than a few weird stains.

Well with a little experimentation and a LOT of adjusting, I got the sensitivity on Dammit the Graphire Tablet turned down and adjusted the screen size to roughly what my canvas is (for some strange reason, though, no matter how far I drag it down it cuts it off about a centimeter from the bottom of the screen).

Cutting down the sensitivity helped a LOT. I'm learning to love the tablet, I suppose....

I'm still not changing its name though. It's on probation. Much thanks for all the tips and suggestions. I'm glad I'm not crazy XD (Well...not regarding the tablet at any rate)

I did another experiment and I think I'm starting to get the hang of things. Maybe I'll start doing CoH chibis with it soon. I'm LOVING photoshop. Maybe I'll run around in painter a bit later.

The face looks really good!! You might want to move his right side in a bit and give it a more defined shape though. As it is he looks a little...portly

OOooo Celsia, that works GREAT!!!! I've also started positioning the tip with the eraser, then holding the space with my finger and putting the drawing point down XD

But after HOURS AND HOURS of work, I managed to color in a verrry simple little drawing. Be kind

I'm trying very hard to love the tablet. It's just a lot of effort. If I could figure out how to keep the cursor where it is instead of having it disappear every time I lift the pen it would go a long way. I don't wanna hear about you and your cintinq Paladin!!! *shakes fist*

I also haven't messed around in Photoshop before (never having had it before ) but it's an interesting program.

I've come across a very irritating problem in the last few minutes in that my eraser doesn't want to erase any more. When I flip it over to erase, it lays down a line of the foreground color, only thinner and harder than the brush I'm using. I don't know how to get the eraser to work.

Usually I'm fairly tech savvy, and I have excellent hand/eye coordination (i'm looking at you Rowr -_- ) but this stupid thing has me stumped.

So....one of them is really really huge and one of them is really tiny? I would love to see these two running around in game!!!

I Love the detail in the armor, and I REALLY love the faces, but something about their sizes look off. Even if the one in back is supposed to be a giant it just doesn't....feel right. (plus it looks like the one in front is grabbing her butt )

Edit: I got it, they're both standing on almost the same line. And it's looking kinda awkward to me.

I really really like the poses (especially the kicking one, her heels look great!). And the legs are awesome!!! I can't wait to see it finished!!
