It also helps WoW druids that their transformations are lightning fast and silky smooth - I love playing my druid (one of the few WoW classes I like).
-
OP, from your posts it sounds like you are maybe playing a bit too much CoH in my opinion. It may be time to scale it back a bit and take part in some other activities as well.
Also you can try playing on heroside as well as villains, that way if things are a bit slow on villains you can switch to playing a hero for a bit (controllers and scrappers tend to have the kind of flexibility that villains archtypes have). -
I managed to drag my Peace Bringer to lvl 50, there were a lot of times that it was a very frustrating experience - in the end I opted for Nova/Human with a very heavily slotted nova form.
I have been adding ranged defence via IO set bonuses and that helped ease the pain somewhat.
There are a lot of little things that bother me about Peace Bringers, for example the self rez doesn't have a few moments of intangibilty you would expect to have inorder to turn shields on in fact you are immobalized just after rez (to add insult to injury). -
There should be a way to have a named boss (not lt.) at the end of a mission without having to slog your way through endless bosses to get there.

I can see why there is no AE terminal in Pocket D, it seems to be used a lot by roleplayers and I think they would get pretty upset if their roleplay was interrupted all time by AE broadcast spam.
If AE was added to the Pocket D zone it would need to be a completly separate annex with no broadcast spam carried over to the main portion of Pocket D. -
Lol, good point, guess i killed them all quickly since i didnt have trouble hitting them.

I dropped the fighting pool on my SD/WM, with IOs you can easily get to the def soft cap and I felt that having the extra defence debuff resistance from grant cover was more useful than a little extra S/L resistance from tough.
I took focused accruacy (slotted with gaussians) instead of conserve power, I can easily run it since I don't have fighting. I took one with the shield incase I should need some extra resistance.
I played through Dark Watchers arc set to team size 8/+1 and had no trouble from massive mobs of vengence stacked nemisis. -
You could build a balanced character and do both tanking and 'scranking'.
Though a scrapper or brute is probably the best for doing both. -
I find that with if you build a character reasonably well you don't really have that much endurance issues after SOs.
I think maybe defenders should get +3% global recharge per teammate instead of an endurance discount when people loose health.
That would give defenders on a full team about the same amount of global recharge bonus as VEATs get from taking their quickness clone. -
You can't really go wrong with two of any sort of VEAT, just don't skip Manuvers and you will be fine. Try whatever takes your fancy

Wide area web grenade in the wolf spider rifle attacks also has -knockback.
-
Phew thats reassuring, I was afraid you were planning to be one of those horribly inefficient 'hit one guy and the run off and hide' types
-
If you wanted a 'World of Darkness' style modern vampire you could even do somthing like a Dual Pistols/Mental Manipulation blaster when GR comes out.
-
I think there needs you be a way to remove individual buffs if you don't want them, like right click on buff icon and select remove as an option and do not accept speed boost as an option (for example).
Not that I would use the function myself, I like all buffs - more the merrier -
If all you are planning to do is hit bosses then dual blades might not be an optimal choise.
If you don't use 1000 cuts from hide to wipe out most of a spawn you are doing it wrong IMO. -
I'm a veteran EU player (over 54 months) and I spend the vast majorty of my time on /hide. I watch sals badgehunters and defiant events channels and if somthing interesting comes up I will join.
I'm probably not the only player that does this. I don't know if /sea is really a good indicator of anything. -
I generally find I become more attached to characters with names that I didn't get first try.
The act of getting more creative with the name increases the attachment.
Also if you really wanted to be 'Star Blaster' and its been taken you could do what the comics do and add a title, for example:
Capt. Star Balster, Mr. Star Blaster, Amazing Star Blaster, Stupendous Star Balster, Star Blaster Steve, ect.
I would by far perfer the devs increase the length letters allowed in the name rather than added a global tag.
Imposter@Unoriginal would suck IMO. -
I didn't make him for farming but my sheild/warmace is no slouch.

I love my warshade, I think the powers synergize well and there are lots of options for builds that work. If you are tri-form the the long duration of mire and eclipse are very beneficial and being able to refill your bars with stygian circle is great. The pets add subtantial damage if you are tanking for them in dwarf or you can be a death from above trio of doom. Human only Shades have plenty of damage and control thanks to powers like inky aspect and orbiting death.
I just feel that peacebringers by comparison feel a bit like bashing you head against a brick wall sometimes, nothing seems to quite match up to expectations and I end up feeling underpowered. If you go tri-form then all human form has to offer is a quick top up heal and a bunch of underslotted shields. If you try all human the damage/control is just a little bit too weak so you are too 'often on the back foot'.
I'm a bit of a completest and I want to have a 50 of every archtype including both peacebringer and warshade. So far I have played all hero and villain archtypes to at least 40, most to 50, (including some less common powersets). My peacebringer is lvl 47 and I see some light at the end of the tunnel, though I don't think I am going to sink much time or inf for IOs into him when he gets to 50 - 'you can't turn a sow's ear into a silk purse' as they say. Of all the archtypes in the game I would say peacebringer is currently the weakest whereas I would happily 'purple' my warshade. -
I think its a pity you couldn't be Ice Armour/Stone Melee.
Energy drain would provide all the endurance required to go mental on the smashing stuff with massive hammers.
Would look really cool with a crystal style customization. I found that if you pick a really dark colour for ice armour its not costume obscuring at all. -
Since VEATs recently gained an extra power in their patron pools how about adding a fulcum shift clone to PBs at 38, call it Lunimous Flux and give it a nice graphic. Add a tar patch clone to warshades and call it Stygian Slime or somthing.
