as some of you might have noticed, i haven't been around the 1AT that much the past few weeks.
I kept a bit quiet on both forums aswell as in game. And when i was on, it wasn't for long.

Due to other hobbies that took a lot of time, i just couldn't get enough time together to actually play for a long time.

So you'd probably expect me to tell you that i'm quitting CoH...

*dramatic pause*

Bad news is...i'm not

you're actually stuck with me for a long time to come.
In a few weeks i have my three weeks off work, that's twenty-one days, five-hundred-and-four hours, thirty-thousand-two-hundred-and-fourty minutes, one-million-eight-hundred-fourteen-thousand-four-hundred seconds, i won't go one to milliseconds but you get my point.

I'm planning to dedicate a lot of time into CoH for those 3 weeks to make up for the time i lost in the past few months.
Thus i expect to be teaming with a lot of the 1AT during that time

I've got four more girls to get to 50, and my new in-game RL-representative Vonk. I hope to get Precious very close to that 50 in those 3 weeks if not on it, she is halfway there already.

to help you lot schedule some time in your busy agenda's so you can play with me, i'll give you the dates for these 3 weeks of CoH loving.

22/7 until 13/8
that's 22th of July until 13th of August.

So start scribbling down the numbers and prepare for some love and happiness during "Jewely's Joyfull Jamboree" (how's that for an event name)

I'm still seeing a white blur in front of me at the bottom left part of my screen, as i'm trying to work through the enormous amount of text that my poor little brain had to endure last night.

My first long visit to the GG RP community was fun. I've met some interesting people and had a great overall experience.

Alfred (the Telepath), very helpfull chap who helped me blend in with the others around GG by introducing some of them to me.

Jane, silent artist, but i believe Vonk was kinda interested in her...although the first introduction didn't go that well

Joseph (aka StoneGiant) Vonk's first meet with a stone-tanker or as he called it "a walking stone".

Ow, and then there was Molok...uhm, cool outfit but Vonk got kinda scared when Molok didn't stop staring at him. Hope Vonk didn't upset 'm too much

And there were several others who i had a nice RP talk with. But jeez, can you guys spam the local-chat.
Okay, most of it is IC so wouldn't be considered spam, but trying to follow about three or four conversations in that small chat window... *SNAP!* I think my brain just went BSOD.

Anyway, thanks everybody for the very nice evening. You'll be seeing me around some more, most probably on Vonk.

okay, i know what it means, but i thought people hardly ever used it.

As for 'lone' characters.
All of my girls are single, yet Star Jewel and Gemstone are the ones that are kinda looking for a boyfriend.
Precious, shy girl, not really looking for attention.
Chibi Jewel, she's 13, too young to be dating.
Dawnshade, not looking...yet.
Lunara, if anyone likes her spicy and sometimes rude attitude...they'll be one of few.
As for Vonk, he's a bit of a womanizer...you know, the 'Johnny Bravo' kinda guy (which i'm not in RL BTW). Tries to hit on girls but usually gets rejected. Yet unlike JB he doesn't use rude comments but tries to be more romantic.

FYI, to show Lunara's spicy attitude, a quote from a story i'm working on.
This scene happens after a fierce battle. Four of the six girls were argueing about what happened during the battle. Lunara is not happy about the situation and takes it out on Precious when they get home. Lunara(Luna) used to be the pet-cat of Precious(Nathalie) so they live together with Star Jewel(Denise) in one appartment.

Dearest RP'ers,

Some of you may know me already, others will probably never even heard of me.
Anyway, i've been around in the world of CoH/V for a year now, and i've been watching the RP community within the game very closely.

I never did much on RP'ing in the game but recently, after creating my X'th alt I decided to make the jump and see what this RP thing is all about.
...and i like it

So, to give you a heads up on my RP situation...

RP Level: newbie
RP Toons:
1. Star Jewel (L50 nrg/nrg blaster)
2. Gemstone (L50 fire/emp controller)
3. Precious (L24 storm/elec defender)
4. Lunara (L14 claws/regen scrapper)
5. Chibi Jewel (L24 PB)
6. Dawnshade (L8 WS)
7. Vonk (L11 fire/nrg blaster)

The first six are connected to each other by a large background story, parts of it as well as detailed info on the toons can be found here.
The 7th one, Vonk, is the in-game representation of the RL me. As such it is easy for me to be myself in-game with this toon. But it's still RP, only with a lot of me in it (does that make sense?)

All my toons are in the SG's forming the 1AT-Coalition on Union, so there's no need to try and invite them to any SGs. The fact remains that only a few people in this coalition RP so I have to look else where to find people that do full RP. Which isn't any problem.
This coalition has been and always will be my home. I've been with them pretty much since i started playing. So every toon I create will automatically join this coalition. No exceptions...

Since i'm still pretty new to the whole RP scene, there's still a few things i'm working on. But I've pretty much got the hang of the important stuff.

I've read a few things about rules and tips for RP'ing in CoH/V, and I will do my best to play according to these rules.
Although i do like to keep saying "gratz" and such when ever somebody levels, as i find most people i team with (especially from the 1AT-Coalition on Union) do not RP and would probably find it rude of me not to say gratz. (i'm such a friendly person).

So...making a long story short.

Summer Coolness

At the office the airco is running in high gear.
Don't want to be home now, way to hot you fear.

Thirty degrees in the glowing sun.
Getting into the light just isn't fun.

Summer is fun when you look at the girls.
lying on the beach eating icecream and swirls.

As the evening arrives around ten o'clock.
stars begin to show as the sun begins its drop.

The nights are warm and you sweat a lot,
at this point you'd wish the summer had stopt.

When morning comes and you float out of bed,
You slowly crawl up with your clothing all wet.

A quick shower to prepare for the day.
some breakfast while the TV shows the weather's play.

Thirty two degrees shows every channel on there.
Your glad that at work, the airco cools the air.

Hollows is fun!

Yes, i'm serious about this.
I had some great times leveling my toons from 6 to 14 in just a few days and trying to navigate through the Hollows evading Madness Mages and Lead Bricks. (it's a good challenge in preperation for other high level zones)

But then again, i've been playing for almost a year with several low level alts, and got quite good at the hollows.

I've tried leveling up without using the hollows, but i keep finding the Frosty and Defeat All missions pretty good fun.
Atta on the other hand is a bit nasty and requires a good team and a lot of patience and time.

But most of the missions i get from teams in the hollows get my toons from 6 to 14 in no time without using any of my other contacts.

I think it takes time to learn all the ins and outs of navigating through the hollows. IMHO
