Aight, you persnickety people, is that 9pm GMT-5 time? I don't even know what EDT means.
[/ QUOTE ]
Nope, because of the daylight savings time, it's GMT-4. We don't want friends overseas showing up an hour off because they were given the wrong time -
[ QUOTE ]
Is this still 9pm EDT Wednesdays?
[/ QUOTE ]
Fixed that for ya'
Yeah, nitpicky, but when you've tried timing gaming with people in Sweden and Iraq, it can trip you up.
But otherwise, it should be. -

Lighthouse, will this Pocket D VIP Pass be handed out on other days beside Saturday? Saturday is sold out, but I think I can make it there for Friday.

I didn't see this on the list.
I logged onto my TA/A defender today, and a bow redraw happened every time I switched between a Trick Arrow power and an Archery power. -

That being said they also run special event trains, which they should run for the Saturday night of Comic-Con at least since that is the most crowded day.
[/ QUOTE ]
The special event train (Red Line) doesn't run on Saturday. But the other trains have additional runs on Saturday night.
Ack! I just noticed that the info on that page is from 2007, but it's the page that's linked from the Comic-con's web site. -
[ QUOTE ]
BTW your link to the train schedule didn't work
[/ QUOTE ]
Try hitting reload. The site is really slow right now, but it eventually loaded up for me. Or try Google's cached copy of the page. -

Tickets Purchased!! thx
My fiance is thinking I won't want to go back Friday cause I'm not really into comics...But I am into fantasy and anime, which I see they have alot of. So better safe than sorry...
[/ QUOTE ]
You won't be disappointed. I haven't collected comics in over 15 years, but this will be my 20th year going to Con. For the past 3 years, I haven't been able to walk more than 75% of the entire exhibit hall, I've been so distracted by other things. And that's with a 4 day pass and staying in a hotel downtown. -

We rented a car..and we are staying way over at a resort on the east side of the city. So I'll need to figure out how to get over to the Mission Valley parking area...It looks like thats a mall?
[/ QUOTE ]
There's a mall there, though I believe that there is a pretty big parking area set aside just for the trolly.
[ QUOTE ]
Anyways, how late does the train run there in SD? I'm afraid if we miss our 8pm train out from the CC that we'll be stuck across town.

Check out SDMTS Comic-Con schedule. -

Got a quick question for all, I m 37 and i was thinking of taking my son(12 yr) with me to check it out. He loves playing city of heroes and i play a bit. Do you all think it might be overwhelming for him and tiring?? Or too crowded.
[/ QUOTE ]
The Comic-Con is quite large and can be overwhelming, though for most young kids, it's like Disneyland. It will be very crowded. To get an idea of how big the whole thing is, here is where the NCSoft booth was last year. That map only shows Halls A-C, about half the main hall. Click the Hall D - F link to see the rest. That doesn't include the rooms upstairs where the panels are held.
For the first time, I would suggest either Thursday, or Sunday, that is, if you're planning a single day trip. Sunday is kids day, with many more children orientated panels and events. It's also seems to be the least crowded of all 4 days. If you're more interested in the big name Hollywood stuff, then Thursday will have more of that (though not as much as Friday or especially Saturday).
I will advise that you should decide now if you're going. Tickets will be sold out soon.

Argh.. Why can't any of the fun stuff be in California?

Uh... San Diego is in California. -

Unfortunately, for the first time in 10 years I have to skip Comic-Con this year. Something has come up and I will need to leave San Diego that weekend.
[/ QUOTE ]
Sorry you can't make it Hobo. Going to the Comic-con for the past 6 years, I know how much it would hurt to miss one. Hope everything turns out ok for you.
[/ QUOTE ]
Nothing bad, close relative turning 80 and having a party and I probably should be there as I will never hear the end of it if I skip it for Comic-Con.
[/ QUOTE ]
My sister had her wedding during Comic-Con, and understood when I didn't make it. Of course, the fact that I'm the only one in the family who goes back east to see her every year helps to make up for it. Not completely, though, as I'm also hitting Gen Con on that trip as well. -

Four day passes and Saturday passes for Comic Con have been sold out. There are still passes for Thursday, Friday and Sunday, but don't expect them to last long. Friday is going fast.

Quote:I just ran it and received the Daredevil, Valorous, and Inhibited badges, all level 25-29 badges (as well as Gold Medalist and Proportional Supremacy).Quote:
I'm appreciating the guide too. One thing...even though Origins of Power shows up heroside with the story arcs (and it is a story arc, you keep going back to the contact to get new missions and you get a souvenier), it doesn't give the challenge badges. I learned this after spriting across paragon city.

Data Requested:
-<Arachnos> Mako/Cap'n Mako's Elude was changed. Any idea what the new value is? It used to be 60%.

Type [Mako.Elude] in game. Results are:
+30.00 strength to melee for 30.00s on self
+30.00 strength to ranged for 30.00s on self
+30.00 strength to AoE for 30.00s on self
+200.00 Jump height for 30.00s on self
+175.00 run speed for 30.00s on self -

Currently, the Revenant Hero Project arc appears to be bugged for flashbacks. After you do the first mission and report back to Gordon Stacy, he drops from your active contact list to your inactive contact list, and won't give you the next mission. I've tried it twice now, with the same results.
Additional link (yeah, lot of junk about Guy Denson not filling his bar in there, but there's some stuff about Gordon in there as well). -
Totems appear to have 50 Resistance ([Banished_Totem_Defense.Resistance]), which I assume to mean 50% resistance. If you compare that to something like Adamastor ([Adamastor_Defense_Powers.resistance]), which says he has 90 resistance and 100 protection.
I'll leave it to others to decipher what the numbers mean.

I noticed an error on the Prototype False Nemesis. Unlike Fake Nemesis, it has a vulnerability to cold (25%), and a huge resistance to psi (300%, apparently capped at 90%).
You can check out the details by typing [Nemesis_Fake_Nemesis_Defense.Resistance] in game.
I /bug'ed this a few years ago when I first noticed, but after double checking just now, there's no change. -

Short help text on both Dark Miasma/Twilight Grasp and Dark Miasma/Howling Twilight still do not mention the -Regen. -
So is this still a go, Elasi? There's a couple things colliding here. The obvious I12 fun, as well as Badge's Pinnicle Riot.

I would like a bind that lets players know Im in or out of character. So if I were to text out of character others would see...
"((hey, what do u think youre doing?))"
So the (( )) are there.
that possible?

Wrong thread. You might want to head over to the Player's Questions section and ask in the Official "Ask for Bind/Macro" Help Thread!. -
