I took it once, and respec'ed right out of it. Nice boom, but it takes way to long to activate. Very little use on a good team, as by the time it blows, the enemy is already dead.

When I had this problem, it was my power supply dying. That might be something to check.

Quote:Wiki entry on War Wolves. Any of these count. That's how it's always been, except when the badge was for 5th council wolves, and it was any of those back then.http://cityofheroes.wikia.com/wiki/T...r_Bullet_Badge
I'm pretty certain its only the WarWolves. And not just cuz the Wiki says so, but when I've hunted for this badge, I've only noted progress on the progress bar when WarWolves were killed. -
Quote:No, it works if the player is offline, except, as mentioned above, if the character is pre-global. I have a few people still on my (non-global) friends list from way back and checked this out of curiosity once.S
I thought getglobalname only worked if the player being queried was online.
You can even test it by doing /getglobalname on a character you know is offline, and then reversing it with /getlocalname on the global you just got. -
If it hasn't already been freed up by the past name purges (e.g. it's on a high level character), then I really doubt that you'll be able to get it.

In due time, it'll get purged. -
Ignore my previous post
.
Tested it out today at a Rikti invasion, and characters above level 30 were doing the same damage with Vet Reward Blackwand. So it's following the GM code. Characters under 30 were doing damage as if the enemy was 1 level less than the character level.
I was prob. thrown off before by the UXB's and Heavy Assault Suits and the damage difference.

Quote:It's not. Just open up a demo file with a text editor and have at it.I have a question, why is it impossible to demo edit with a Mac?
Quote:I'd expect it to be EASIER to make programs for demo editing on Mac (For it having awesome graphics and stuff.). IS there a program that allows you to demo edit on Mac? If not, WHY not?
As to why not? Nobody has decided to go and make one. -

Happy Birthday (which is still the biggest tag in the Tag Cloud)

I believe that Gimp can also create animated gifs, and in a environment easier to deal with for Windows people.
Oh yeah, isn't this your original avatar, Boricua?

The rikti/zombie invasions use something similar to the GM scaling, but not quite the same. Against a GM, you'll see different damage numbers each level up to the hidden level of the GM, but the same number past the hidden level (assuming you use the same power with the same slotting, best tested with a vet reward power). This doesn't happen with the invasions. The damage doesn't cap with the hidden level. I never looked into it enough to figure it out completely.

Quote:Remember, you can also buy common IO recipes directly off of the workbench.I looked at WW and couldnt find enough recipeds to fufil my own order!
I made a tidy profit DXP weekend reselling recipes in high demand by buying off of the WB and relisting on the market. -
Yes, I wield the full might of Google, none can stand before me. My Search-Fu is powerful!!
Actually, I just entered Site:Boards.CityOfHeroes.com RobertoLyon into google. It pulled up a few threads you posted in, but the links wouldn't work now, of course. But Google keeps a cached copy, and I found the image in that. -
Quote:I think I found it through google cache. Is this it?Is there any way to trace back the address at which my old Avatar image "lived"?

"Joey, have you ever been in a Turkish prison?"
"You ever seen a grown man naked?" -
You can find them in Eden, Creys or PI easily enough. In FF, it's pretty much only snipers, few and far between.

Quote:Have you tried using a tinyurl to redirect to the image?I'm more aggrivated because the forum software won't let me use the avatar I've used for a long time. Simply because the path has a ~ in it.

The problem with this is you get a full list and you start cleaning the list of people you REALLY wanted to ignore. This is a problem, period ... no one should have to spend time hiding or tweaking an account to resolve this. The email system is made pretty much useless until the solution is implemented.

Agreed, million times over.
My previous post with my work around.
