Doesn't Mids have something to help you figure this out?
Personally, I don't see the point and pretty much do the same as Starsman. The problem I see with working out an exacting attack chain is that at some point, probably more often than you want, you're going to end using your most powerful attacks against a foe with only a sliver of hps left. A big waste of power and end. -
I never got a respec in all the many times I did the Eden Trial, Abandoned Sewer Trial, or the subject of this thread, the Cavern of Transcendence Trial.

Quote:I did a quick search of my logs, though I haven't run Eden as much as I used to. It shows 11 ambrosia drops in the past few months and each drop is preceded by "You have defeated Greater Devoured". On the other hand, each killing blow by me of a GD does not precipitate an Ambrosia drop, so it's not a 100% chance of a drop.Tangent question: Ambrosia
I have heard it said that Ambrosia ONLY has a chance to drop for the team mate who had the kill shot on the Greater Devourers on the bridges at the acid lake. From my experience, the occasions I'ved focused on picking off the riff raff instead of the GDs, I'd get no Ambrosia drops even while dropping AOEs at the GD's vicinity constantly. -
One base, though it was beautifully designed, had the exit portal floating at ceiling level in mid-air. There was no way someone without fly or such could get out without jumping and trying to click in on it mid-jump.

I used to do this, but with Ouro, I don't quite worry so much anymore. There are certain things I do try to do on each character, though. I get each of the bank mission explore badges, as they're a pain to get otherwise. I'll unlock TF contacts such as Karsis, Hess and Hannon. And I try to get each contact to the point that they'll sell me inspirations. I know, you can always hit AE or Ouro for them, but it satisfies my OCD to get at least that far.

If you have a Pillar of Ice and Flame in your base, you can use it as a ghetto port to Midnighter's Club if you're level 30+ or to Cimerora at level 50. Simply start up a flashback from Mercedes Sheldon or Daedalus, click the Pillar again and select Teleport to contact. Then you can quit the flashback once there.
Of course, this works best if solo. -

You're not quite clear on it, but the sound of your post seems to indicate to me that you may still be on trial and haven't actually bought the game yet. If that's the case, you'll need to go to the NCSoft store and buy the game first. Buying it through the store means you'll get the serial code, but won't get a CD shipped to you.

I came across Dr. Aeon as an AV in a safeguard a couple weeks ago.
*checks logs*
03-29-2010 19:09:14 [NPC] Dr. Aeon: Bring it on, Diffidentia Angelus! I've been expecting you!
I wasn't leader, so I have no clue what DA's settings were. -
The slider does work for direct recipe purchase, though. If you want a level 10 BotZ knockback protection, for example, then you can set the slider to 10 and you'll buy it at lvl 10.

Some threads which talk about the very thing macskull mentioned.
Low Lvl I/O's - yeah, huh?
Low Level Stuff Generation
Midlevel Crisis stuff
Midlevel Crisis: Generated Stuff
Myself, I do have a character parked at 41 specifically for running Eden trial. -
You might want to ask this question in the Technical Issues & Bugs forum. They're better equipped to handle such questions.

I'm pretty sure I saw a Freem shirt on Big Bang Theory awhile ago. Exactly the same as the one I bought from the NCSoft booth at SD Comic Con. Someone on that show is definitely a fan.

Try alternating which heavy you try got gain control of. There seems to be a bug of some sort which will let you get extra credit for control sometimes.
I would get control of the heavy closest to the base, and then throw myself on the nearest pillbox, letting it kill me (hey, debt is just another badge). I'd then go to the next closest heavy and do the same. Then, when I went back to the first heavy, something odd happened. I would click on it, get credit for control but I wouldn't get control. I'd click again and the heavy would fade away, but I'd get credit again. Finally, it'd reappear, and this time I would really gain control. So I would get three control credits for it. I'd then throw myself at the nearest pillbox, die, and head for the second heavy. The three clicks sequence would repeat and I'd alternate between the two heavies. It only took me about an hour to get my last 150 clicks in this way.
But either way, letting yourself die is much, much faster than zoning in and out. -

What is the *exact* text you're using to create the bind?
