It looks like that Invention Discount coupons, which weren't working a couple months ago, are working again, even though it wasn't in the patch notes. At least they were when I tested it just now.

"As of City of Heroes Freedom/Issue 21, these boosters and item packs are generally no longer available unless tied somehow to a box set (e.g. Cyborg/Magic choice with Architect Edition, GvE's goodies, etc). The individual components of these packs have been integrated into the Paragon Market." -
I just checked in game, 800 points is correct. Which makes sense because that would be $10 worth of points, the pre-Freedom price.

Quote:You might want to take time to read the previous posts. As for the Combat Invisibility temp power....are you sure it was still active when you went in to fight?
Whenever I have stealth I also monitor my PVE stealth radius in the combat attributes to make sure I am hidden.

I must have missed something then, because I just got Sister as a contact and it's telling me to go to Cimerora to see her. I don't see any access to Cimerora on my DA map. What am I missing?

Just as an example, here's the listing I use. The basic things I monitor on every character, plus space to add a couple more depending upon the individual character.
/monitorattribute Acc$$monitorattribute To hit bonus$$monitorattribute Last Hit$$monitorattribute damage bonus$$monitorattribute Regeneration Rate$$monitorattribute Recovery rate$$monitorattribute Recharge time bonus$$monitorattribute stealth radius (pve) -
I never mentioned macro, I just have it set up and when I make a new character, I just paste it into the chat window. Good to go.

There isn't a slash command to save/load the entire contents of the window, but there is the /monitorattribute slash command which acts as a toggle. You can string together a bunch and copy/paste it. Also, you just need enough characters to be unique to get the attribute you want to monitor. For example, /monitorattribute Acc is enough instead of /monitorattribute Accuracy.

At the time this game came out, no, I don't believe any MMOs had it as an options. It wasn't until about... 2007, 2008? or so before MMOs started offering it.
-
Quote:Once again, it was *NEVER* an option, so it was never taken away.Huh? There was at one time, so, I thought, that, it was still available. If that option was taken away, why was it taken away?
You're probably thinking of either DC Online of Champions Online, both of which had lifetime options available before they went live. -

Quote:There has never been a lifetime subscription option for CoH.I now have enough money in my checking account, so that if I wanted to, I could get a Lifetime Subscription to this game, provided such a thing is still possible. Is it still possible, and, how do I go about getting one? Thanks for the help on this!

One thing you might do is check Amazon and get a copy of Going Rogue from there. It's selling pretty cheaply atm (one new copy for only $0.99, a bunch more at the $5-7 range) and that will include a month of VIP play as well. I bought a couple copies at $5 to upgrade a couple f2p accounts a couple months ago and had no problems.
-
In your case, *do not* get the starter unless you are creating a completely new account. According to your join date, you have a previous account and as it says on the Starter kit
"The City of Heroes Freedom™ VIP Starter Kit can only be used to activate a NEW account and cannot be applied to existing VIP or Premium accounts." (bolding mine). -
Quote:It you run even a few iTrials, it really isn't that bad. My latest 50 went from nothing to T4 Alpha in two nights (plus T2 in another slot). That was about two hours of trials per night plus running a Mortimer Kai WST and getting two Notices from that. I converted everything to threads to do it (astrals, emps, notices) and admittedly got lucky and got a VR from one of the trials, but still, it was so much faster using threads over shards.Wow... so looking at the actual costs for creating the alpha components, ouch. T3 is 340 threads, T4 would be 1360 threads? Damn... I guess you're just hoping to get lucky with arc components eh? That's pretty harsh. I mean, it's not too harsh for t1 and t2, but getting the actual good abilities I guess is supposed to be reserved for people who want to run trials eh?

Many members of the Cabal have a power called [Positioning]. It's meant to keep them fighting at a distance rather than close to melee range. Unfortunately, it works like a short range PBAoE auto hit attack. If you get within 8' of one, you get hit by it and your stealth will drop.
See The Cabal and last paragraph of Ignoring Stealth -
The arcs give a choice of 10 threads or a random piece of salvage (common to very rare) at the end in addition to threads that drop during the arc. I've already gotten a rare, uncommon, and a common from the arcs.

It's a little hard to avoid the spoiler when you make the title "No Rez For Sister Psyche?". Not everyone has done SSA 6 yet.

You can export your current build out of the game using Titan Sentinel. You can then take the build that it exports to the clipboard and import it into Mids' Hero Designer which will give you all the real numbers and warn you when you make mistakes like going beyond the Law of Fives.

Quote:It's a 7.5% increase.I slotted 5 Panacea enhancements in my Healer character
to get the 7% Recharge increase.
I guess you can only do this once, in other words,
I can't slot in another 5 Panacea enhancements in any other
enhancement category for the same character?
Yes, you can slot it more than once, to a maximum of five times, but other 7.5% bonuses from other sets count against that five maximum. See The Law of Fives. Also, take note that the 7.5% from the Luck of the Gambler IO has a different name so you can stack up to five of those without stacking against regular 7.5% set bonuses.
